I colored my hair about a year ago as I was trying to save money on salon visits. Big mistake as the color kept fading and I had to keep reapplying color to cancel out brassiness, so my hair became quite dry. I tried expensive products like Bumble & Bumble but those contain sulfates and I wasn't getting the results I wanted that justified such an expensive product. So my local beauty store recommended Mastey Traite and I tried a sample of it. It smells really good and my hair was actually very manageable and had body. This is even better than Pureology, and I'm just glad that I have found a more inexpensive sulfate-free shampoo. It's very creamy and smells tropical and suds well for a sulfate free shampoo. So glad that I found this. It's nice when you find a good product such as this because it's something you can stick with.

Shampoo -Living Proof - Restore

This didn't work for my color treated hair. It still felt dry afterwards. The scent is nice though. Kind of citrusy but I'll be trying something else and returning this. I got the trial size pack with the shampoo, conditioner, and masque. My hair just needs more moisture.

I am returning this product. It might not have worked for me due to a wrong shade selection, because it did not cover my circles as much as I had hoped for. I used it in Sand and it was indeed too dark for my complexion. I do think it's possible though that a lighter shade would work better at concealing, which is why I am rating this a 3. Consistency wise, this glided on without any drying or tugging, which was nice.

I like this shade very much. I have very dark brown eyes, pale skin and light hair so sometimes a dark brown can look too harsh on me. This color however is subtle enough without being one bit too harsh. I'm glad I bought this shade. As a matter of fact, I bought both the pearly brown as well as this shade, and although I'm keeping both shades, I think I prefer the lighter brown very a more subtle look. And these glide on so easily with virtually no tugging. Very nice.

Eyeliner -Make Up For Ever - Aqua Eyes in Burgundy 18L

Although I do have these eyeliner's in two other different shades, the burgandy shade looked terrible on me. After applying it looked like someone beat me up. The shade was just very unflattering on me, but at least I now know to stay away from burgandy shades for my eye area.

I did not like this product. I bought this in the steel color shade. I forget the exact name of the shade right now. If the color had suited me better I would have liked this product better, as the shade was just too dark for my skin tone and not subtle enough. My other complaint is that I could feel something heavy on my eyelids, as if it dried onto my eyelids like paint would. I imagine this is what makes it waterproof, but it just made my lids feel weird. Just didn't like the feel of it. On a positive note though, I definitely prefer eyeshadows that are applied via a stick method.

Powders -Smashbox - Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder

For some reason mineral foundations just don't seem to work for me. This one was no exception. I received a sample of this and even if the color had been right for my skin tone, the coverage was not good at all, and it did not blend well into my skin, or blend well with it. I've tried BE mineral powder and that worked much better for my skin than this smashbox powder. No, I won't be buying this.

Liquid -Sephora - Perfecting Cover Foundation

I received a sample of this foundation. It's terrible. It felt extremely greasy while applying it, like I was rubbing grease into my skin. Glad I got to sample it though. Also, the color was bright orange on my skin tone. If they are trying to sell this product, they should be sending out samples that are not orange in color. Nobody has orange skin.

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Matte Foundation spf 15

I tried out a sample of this and decided against buying the full size product for several reasons. For one, this powder foundation emphasizes my pores and imperfections. It looks worse after it has been on my face for a few hours. I also noticed that any lines are accentuated, especially in my eye area, making me look older. This would probably work for someone with near perfect skin, but I'm not that candidate so I will stick with liquid foundations.

Foundations -LORAC - Natural Performance Foundation

I received a sample of this from the nice girl at Sephora. Unfortunately this foundation didn't work for me. Coverage was streaky because it settles into the pores while you are trying to blend. I wouldn't buy this, but am glad I got to sample it for sure.

Concealers -Sephora - Smoothing & Brightening

I just received this concealer in Radiant Rose and it is almost a dupe for the Loreal Air Wear Brightener concealer that was long ago discontinued. It has almost the exact same color and coverage, so I am happy to have finally found something to replace that. I have terrible dark circles that are hereditary as even when I do get enough sleep, I have very dark circles. Yellow concealers just make the area have a grayish cast, but pink based ones tend to brighten a bit better and conceal better. I feel this is also better than the Benefit Eye Bright pencil because the Eye Bright pencil is more dry going on. Yes, I will repurchase this product.

Eyeliner -Too Faced - Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner

I bought two of these in shades Perfect Storm and the other in Perfect Brown. I love perfect storm on my eyes, as it is a dark gray/bluish color that looks great with my dark brown eyes. The Perfect Brown was too dark for my eyes, as it looked to bold with my already dark eyes. However, the Perfect Brown works well for shading in my eyebrows. I sometimes dye my eyebrows and the perfect brown helps to correct any orange in them. As for the application, this eyeliner goes on very, very smoothly. I wish it came in more colors. My only complaint so far is the smudger tip. It is made of rubber or something and I prefer the spongy smudger type tips. Other than that, this is good eyeliner but expensive.

This is very good tea tree oil. I think it's quite pure and not watered down. I trust this brand for their tea tree products, and I also use their Tea Tree mouth wash.

This dried my face out terribly. Just because it's natural doesn't necessarily mean better. It has ACV, lemon and a few other very drying essential oils in it. It will take my face a few more days to recover from this.
