Primer/ Corrector -Urban Decay - Complexion Primer Potion - Pore Perfecting

Hoping this would be a great as the UDPP, but its not. Doesn't minimize pores as promised, doesn't help makeup stay on longer, doesn't control oil. Oh well, the search continues.
I've gone through at least 4 jars of this stuff over the past 2 years because it's a great moisturizer. I use it only as a night cream because it is too oily for the day. Despite the slight greasy feeling it leaves, it doesn't make me break out. In the morning, my face feels soft, not tight at all. It has a heavy flower/powdery-scent, which some may find unpleasant.
Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - DUO eyelash adhesive

This is the only eyelash glue I buy. It dries matte clear and is very tacky. I have oily lids and my lashes stay on all day (8-10 hrs) despite oil, eyeliner and eyeshadows. The the lashes don't pull up at the edges at all.
Save your dollar. I was very generous and used this for a week. Its a very watery thin formula, so you waste time putting on multiple coats. Then when it dries it flakes off in a fine powdery dust. In the trash it goes.
I haven't found my HG concealer yet, but this comes very close. Very creamy, so doesn't accentuate dry spots. But beware of applying heavy thick layer of this stuff, because it will settle into creases, not as bad as other concealers (but don't all concealers do that....I haven't found one that doesn't). Pigmentation is great, so covers most flaws well. I like the 4 colors because I can match to my skin tone when I'm light in the winter and darker in summertime. Its is unscented and will last a long time. It can be "clumpy", but I warm it up with my fingers in the pot for a few seconds before application and it works great.
Loose Powders -E.L.F. - Studio High Definition Powder

Wow. This stuff is great. Very finely milled, so it doesn't not feel chalky. Controls oil well and leaves a lovely airbrush finish, purely matte, not dewy or "glow". Price is so inexpensive for the great quality. It is a definite dupe for the MUFE. I have to take one lippie off because I'm pretty fair-med tone and I do see a VERY slight white cast when I apply this...but the MUFE does the same thing.
Get your hands on this if you can. It seems to be discontinued at the drugstores. Its a great pink with slight sheen, but not glittery or pearly for everyday look. The pink is not too cool and works will with my yellow undertones. Very pigmented and buildable with a silky finish. Doesn't feel chalky at all. I was very surprised at the good quality of this blush.
So I've tried this out for the past 6-8 months, summer and winter, and it is so-so. If you have oily skin and its summer, it will not last more than 6 hours and will need to blot throughout the day. It feels better for my skin in the winter because it feels moisturizing. Stays on longer when set with a powder (loving my Matte Dream powder by Maybelline). Good coverage and buildable without being too cakey, but feels heavy on the skin. Color selection is a little weird. I'm a NC25-30 and I had to mix ST-4 and ST-5 to match the color. ST-5 was way too orange and ST-4 turned out to be really light...even during my winter paleness. No weird odor. Not hating, but not loving it either.
Lotions/ Creams -Clinique - Deep Comfort Body Butter

Love love love for the winter time. Totally elimated all my ashy skin during the blizzard of 2010 here on the east coast. It is unscented and is not greasy at all. It leaves my skin soft and moisturized all day. It will definately be too thick for the summer time, but is my HG body cream for the winter.
Love these shadows. Pigmented well, lasts all day with UDPP. Not chalky at all. Problem is that the swatches are not true to color on most sites. I got a palette made up of mostly neutral colors from MakeUpMania.com, colors are great, but don't match what is on the screen. I mostly use Nude, Pinky Beige and Taupe for a really natural daytime look.
Great pinky with some coral-like undertone. It would flatter most skin tones. Its totally matte, so a nice blush for the office. Lasts all day for me. Had to take one lippie off for the price, $28 is a little too pricey so I don't think I would repurchase. I fortunately got it on sale 50% off at Sephora (they not going to carry the brand anymore).
Powder -Cargo - Cargo Blu-Ray High Definition Powder Makeup

I like the finish (matte and not drying), but problem is not long lasting. Have to be careful with application because the powder can easily become cakey if layering. Definately prefer the Maybelle Matte Dream powder instead. I'm NW30 and 2.0-2.5 (Matte Dream), and found that Shade 20 is good for winter and Shade 30 is a little dark, hopefully better for summer when I'm tanner.
This is so-so. It gives a natural finish. Not great lengthening as advertised. But it definately doesn't smudge onto the lower lid..which is my biggest pet peeve. I like how the wand doesn't make my lashes clump together. If I run out I would repurchase, but not enthusiastically.
Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner - Black

Best so far. Very pigmented. Smudges the least out of all the cream/gel eyeliners...I've tried everything, Bobbi Brown, MAC, Loreal eye studio, Kenabo Kate. The best part is the price for a product that outlasts high-end products.
Eye Shadow -Revlon - Colorstay 12-Hour Eyeshadow Quad "Coffee Bean"
dkim 2/21/2010 11:19:00 PM
Love the colorstay quads. I own 5 of the quads and this is the only set with matte colors (the 3rd shadow is shimmer), which i think is great to create a great daily neural look. Stays on all day with UDPP. The 2 top shadows are pretty light, so for darker skin tones may look chalky, unless used as a highlight.
