My lips are not pigmented at all so when I look for a MLBB lipstick it's really painful because what looks like a nice pink flush on other people makes me look like a zombie(I am a bit pale too so it's just awful). But I did need something to wear with a smoky eye look and I found this. This is what I want my lips to look like without lipstick. In fact, it was so realistic, that when I first tried it, around the second hour I thought I already ate it so I attempted to wipe what was left and put another lipstick just to see my pale lips underneath. It is so good that it managed to fool me! As for the formula - I am picky but I have no complaints about this. Even the faint rose taste in the beginning just reminds me not to lick my lips :D This lipstick is like a dream. For reference I am NC 20 and usually use red lipsticks.
I didn't expect to like it when I saw how it looked in the tube but what a diffference when it's on the lips! Gorgeous colour - classical red that is not too bright, not too light and can be universally flattering. It's very moisturizing and it does not bleed which is the best combo. Unfortunately, it's not an everyday colour but I think that every girl has to have a classic red lipstick to match her little black dress. The only negative side is the price (keep in mind it's more of a special occasion lipstick) but I do think that it's so pretty it won't get a lippie off because of this :) And the packaging is superb - such a pleasure taking it out of the bag and reapplying (something that doesn't really happen often since it's super long-wearing!).
I have used this mascara years ago for my prom and I remember being satisfied by its performance but somehow I have only been buying maybelline mascaras lately. But this one had a discount so why not try again? I just want to say - use it with an eyelash curler... really. HG status here! I hope they won't discontinue it!
Best lipstick I have ever used. I love the packaging, the shade, the formula! Just amazing. Let;s start with the packaging - perfect! There are cheaper and more expensive lipsticks but for the packaging - none can compete with this one. For me this is also the most versatile colour I've seen - I am still to meet a person that doesn't look good with this on. I think it is because the shade is very balanced - slightly cool toned red rose with a discrete golden shimmer. It feels hydrating (I don't have to use lipbalm in the winter) and it is long wearing. I usually "eat" my lipstick in an hour but this fades after 2 hours which is a real feat for a lipstick on my lips and it leaves a stain that lasts and looks good so I don't have to reapply constantly. I hope it is not discontinued so I can repurchase it.
This is my first MAC lipstick and it's also my first warm red. It is reasonably priced, the packaging looks good and the colour is lovely. But... I am not very fond of the formula. The Chanel RA I finished just before I bought this one might have spoiled me but I do think that there are cheaper drugstore lipsticks that have better formulas (Maybelline or Bourjois have nice lipsticks). My main issue is that it feels sticky (maybe they use some waxes inside?). I have never experienced this with lipsticks and it is the main reason I don't buy glosses. It is also a but drying so I have to use a lipbalm which also fights the stickiness. Might not be a problem for some but I was expecting something else from a "cremesheen" just because it has creme in the name of the formula Overall, I think that this is a lipstick for the summer because it does look better with tanned skin and my lips are not that dry. I will not repurchase and I hope our relationship warms as the weather does :) Edit: It's warmer outside, it feels less sticky and I appreciate the staying power and the colour but I still need to apply lip balm. Still not going to repurchase.
That mascara gets a big "wow" from me. I am really surprised to find such a good mascara for such an adequate price. I gave up searching for a HG mascara long time ago but this is amazing. Note that my lashes are short and spiky so for me, this stuff is amazing!
I am such a big fan of Bourjois but this time I was a bit disappointed with their liner pinceau in black and purple... I have been using liquid eyeliner every day since 9th grade so it's been almost 5 years and I know what's good. About this liner: PROS: super cute packaging, great brush, great colours. CONS: the texture goes way too creamy and it is almost impossible to draw a thin line or even a thick line in less than a minute... Having stated the pros a more than the cons you see the one reason why I don't like it stands out. I am not excluding the case that I have bought old liners or I just can't get used to drawing with it but that's the case for me... For me it sucks :(
