Mascara -Estee Lauder - More Than Mascara
Sweetmomma 2/18/2009 12:31:00 AM
This mascara will absolutely not clump. It's pretty amazing how clump free it is. So no worries there! Decent volume and length. The cool thing about it is its very buildable and I am telling you this will NOT clump. Great mascara.

Crème -Paul & Joe - Paul & Joe Cream Foundation
Sweetmomma 1/28/2009 8:54:00 PM
This foundation is decent and has potential. It does look very good on but there are some cons that prevent me from buying again. This is a nice moisturizing foundation and good for those wanting that dewy look. But sometimes I found it to look too dewy, if you know what I mean. This foundation came off very easily. Even the very slightest tough of my face with my finger and I could see the foundation on my finger. So, for me it comes off too easy. Also, the coverage is decent but not the best. I would consider this light/sheer to medium coverage. But more on the light side. It is buildable but like I said, the foundation comes off too easy so that whatever you "built" usually doesn't hold long. So, bottom line, not enough coverage or staying power for my taste. Does look nice at application but that's not enough for me.

Mascara -Estee Lauder - Sumptuous
Sweetmomma 1/19/2009 8:13:00 PM
This mascara is awesome!. Best I have ever used. I used it once a long time ago, I remember liking it and even wrote a review here.. however I just used it again in a sample and I am going to start using this as my HG mascara. It lengthens amazingly, does not clump and does not flake. I have tried many, and this is the one... The bomb! lol.

Lip Treatments -Chapstick - Cherry
Sweetmomma 1/3/2009 5:01:00 PM
I have been using cherry chapstick pretty much my whole life! Okay well since my preteen years up till now. Do the math that's about 15 years! It's just great to have around when you want your lips to be moist. I wear alone or under lipstick and I am not sure I could live without! I use daily, pretty much 24-7.

Mascara -Estee Lauder - MagnaScopic Maximum Volume Mascara
Sweetmomma 12/31/2008 6:51:00 PM
OMG... I just applied this to my eyes and I am horrified! First of all this came in a holiday make up kit I got for xmas. I was hoping it would at least be decent to go out tonight wearing, but OH NO. It is sooooooo clumpy. Makes yours lashes stick together. Just a big black gloopy mess. I can't even believe they put their name on this crap! Terrible! Try the new Estee Lauder double wear mascara, it is much better.

Mascara -Estee Lauder - Double Wear Zero Smudge Lengthening Mascara
Sweetmomma 10/23/2008 4:56:00 PM
My mom made a comment about my eye lashes after I wore this. She asked where did I get those long lashes from because no one else has them in the family and she was awed. My lashes are decent naturally, but this mascara makes them dramatically long. It applies well and doesn't smudge. I only had a sample but I plan to buy now.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Retin A Micro
Sweetmomma 7/12/2008 2:42:00 AM
I am hesitant to write a review because I don't want to jinx anything but I think this is actually gonna work for me from what I can tell. First let me start by saying I HATED this. The first week I looked like a freak from the red, dry skin. After the initial dry skin and peeling went away I still hated it. My acne did not clear up one bit. It even seemed worse most of the time. I was so infuriated but tried my best to be patient. When week 7 rolled around I prayed for results but still nothing. I still didn't give up hope and didn't want all those wasted weeks to be for nothing so I reluctantly kept using nightly. I started this in late March and it's now July. The last 2-3 weeks I have not had any new break outs. My skin is finally starting to clear. This is coming from someone who had crazy stubborn hormonal acne that NOTHING worked on. I woke up new to pimples every morning. I knew every night going to bed when I woke up there would be new ones. I had a baby in September and since then my skin was haywire. I do also use evoclin with the Retin-a as well. Retin-a micro leaves my skin feeling so smooth, it's hard to explain. Even before the acne cleared I noticed the texture of my skin was softer and just felt nicer. Now that the acne finally has subsided my skin finally does look and feels so much better. This prescription takes so much time and patience and that is why a lot of people cannot handle it. It took over 3 months for it to work on me, but I am glad I stuck it out. If you have patience and use this every night for 3 months straight you should see results at this point. I was reading about accutane and considering it but thank God this worked for me. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me is that yes it does give you slighty dry skin even after several weeks of use. I will take dry skin over disgusting acne any day. Just get a good non-pore clogging moisturizer and you should be good to go. I use Dermalogica Active moist. If that's too expensive try CeraVe . I use that as well. I would also suggest getting on the pill if your acne is hormonal. I did this also last month. Yes it sucks taking a pill every day but I would rather do it then deal with hormonal acne, which is all internal. Retin-a takes someone who is commited and who believes it will help them long term. Like I said it feel like it takes forever. If you are looking for results over night this isn't for you. All those products that claim to zap pimples fast usually don't, and if they do they won't prevent new pimples from forming. They just dry up the exsisting acne and then you get new ones all over in other areas. Retin-a ensures that no new ones form. Another plus is Retin-a has proven benefits to fight aging, which isn't a bad deal. I am so glad I have not woken up in nearly 3 weeks to any new pimples. I know it is the Retin-a finally kicking in. I am sorry this didn't work for some. I believe a lot of the problem is people are not consistant enough and/or patient enough to use it and make it work.

Moisturizers -Cerave - Moisturizing Lotion
Sweetmomma 7/7/2008 3:01:00 PM
I was introduced to this by my dermatologist. It can't be too shabby if a doctor carries it right? He gave me samples and then I ended up purchasing. Anyway, This is a basic, light moisturizer. It doesn't clog pores and has not broke me out. I use evoclin and retin-a micro so was looking for something hydrating and believe this does the job. I don't notice any smell from it at all. It's cheap so it's worth to try. Finding a lotion based on reviews is hard because everyone has different skin types and can react differently. For the most part I think this will work on the majority of people.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Shroom
Sweetmomma 5/29/2008 6:03:00 PM
Sooo boring. Not even a good brow highlighter either. Prefer vanilla pigment for that. This is invisible on me and does nothing. It's ok to tone down colors but the eye shadow alone is pretty much the most boring color I've seen. Sorry.

Eyeliner -MAC - MAC Liquid Liner
Sweetmomma 4/23/2008 1:00:00 AM
Wow I am in shock everyone is saying this is long lasting. I usually use loreal liquid felt tip but wanted to branch out and thought this would be better since it was more high end and pricier. This eye liner actually flakes off and leaves black specks all over my face. Never in my life have I seen this. As I type this, my eye liner has patches missing from it where it actually broke off my upper lid. Spots missing off the line where I drew it on is not a good look ladies. To add to it, it actually burned my eyes on application. It goes away and I would disregard this for a good liner, but this is crap. Black specks everywhere on my face and crusty broken off liner is what you will get from this, or at least I did. Then when I try to wipe the dots off my face it smears everywhere! I look like a mess right now! Thanks MAC!

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear LIGHT Foundation SPF10
Sweetmomma 4/5/2008 5:02:00 PM
I have been using regular double wear for a while, but like some have said, it can be a little on the heavier side. I still like it though. When this came out and I read the reviews I wanted to try it. I didn't have high expectations though because despite the good reviews, I thought it wouldn't be very good coverage and too sheer for my taste. Well, I was wrong. If you are looking for a foundation that feels light but still covers well this is the one. I was so surprised when I put it on because I really didn't think it would cover anything. Use this paired with Nars loose powder and I promise you will have a beautiful flawless face. The plus side is you also get a light airy feel so you feel fresh faced all day. I am amazed by it and am so glad I discovered this. Great coverage with a light feel! Looks natural and beautiful! What more can you ask for?!!

Loose Powders -NARS - Loose Powder

Um so ya this powder is amazing! I use it over foundation and it sets it beautifully. I am amazed when I look in the mirror hours after applying it, it still looks flawless. I don't even need touch ups anymore. Glides on the skin effortless and gives a beautiful finish. Ladies, please try this loose powder because I promise you will love it.

Lipstick -MAC - Lustre in Sophisto
Sweetmomma 3/4/2008 6:53:00 AM
I freaking love this! It is so pretty! I have always worn plum colors since Jr high..So I was excited to try this and I am glad I did! It's sheer but buildable, plus I use this with the cremestick plum soft lip liner for a beautiful combo that compliments it well. It also feels so soft and silky on! Only complaint is....If you are going to a make out session or giving lots of kisses it doesn't hold up very well! lol, but still amazing in my opinion!
