This body butter does moisturize really well, but the smell is just awful- like nature (trees, fresh cut grass, and leaves). I do wear it to work daily because my skin is super dry in the winter and this helps keep it moisturized. I would not repurchase this due to the scent. I hope this product is re released with an improved scent.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Maui Wowie

I can't even begin to explain how complicated this shade is. FIrst it is difficult to get out of the pan unless you use it with a damp brush. Then the fall out is unreal- glitter all over the place and throughout the day it continues to have fall out all over the eyelashes and the face. It looks nice once it is on, but it's so difficult to use that I will not ever be using this shade again.

Polishes -MAC - Everything That Glitters

Everything that Glitters is a nice, but dull looking black glittery nail polish that chips too quickly after application. The glitter is very small and looks best underneath a black nail polish base. The glitter is mulit-colored.

Hair Styling Tools -Unlisted Brand - Maxiglide iron

OMG, this product is HG for those like me with thick, big, dry hair. I have the Maxiglide xpress with steamburst and this iron gets my hair relaxer straight in more than half the time I usually would spend flat ironing my hair. The ends of my hair are no longer crispy, and tangled.

Just awesome. This hairdryer dried my big, thick shoulder length natural hair in 20 minutes and my hair was left frizz-free and soft. A must have for natural hair ladies. I use it with the comb attachment and a heat glove, because I like to hold the barrel while I blow my hair out.

Conditioner -The Body Shop - Banana Nourishing Conditioner

This is an awesome conditioner. It moisturizes my dry 4c hair really well. It smells really nice- like sweet bananas/fruit. The texture of the conditioner is somewhat runny, yet creamy. It's great for cowashing with. I think this product is best for dry, thick, curly hair.

Conditioner -Wen by Chaz Dean - Kid's Strawberry Banana Cleansing Conditioner

I said I wasn't going to try the Wen line due to the high price, but I love strawberry banana so I decided to try this out and I'm glad I did. It smells nice and subtle ( the scent does not linger and is not overpowering). I've used this product a few times as a co wash, deep conditioner, leave-in and detangler and I am impressed. In the long run I save money since I only need one product for multiple uses. My hair is well moisturized and feels soft like how I like for it to feel. I've ordered three more bottles. I only wish it came in the 32 oz. size. It's in the Wen kids line of products, but it works well for me.

Crème -Revlon - ColorStay Whipped Creme Makeup

Again Revlon has forgotten that darker skinned people wear foundation as well. There are two color choices- rich ginger or caramel. Caramel is for NW45 or NC50 skintones and Rich Ginger is for NC40-42 Skintones, so if you are NC45 (Halle B.'s skintone) with yellow undertones there is not a shade available for us. In PhotoReady, Caramel is my shade, but this foundation differs from PR. It is full coverage and very thick so it takes a few tries to apply it just right. Since it is so thick only a small amount is needed. I don't really like that it really accentuates pores and just looks cakey and somewhat drying.

Divine Blue is a nice shimmery aqua shade that is not flatting on my nc 45 skintone, but nc 40s or so would be able to wear this shade.

Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Mia

I've been using this brush now for about two weeks. I have combination skin that tends to be oily in the t zone and dry on the cheeks. I use Mia every night after removing my makeup with a make up remover cloth. My face now feels like a baby's skin does (soft/smooth). Everyday it feels like I just got a professional facial. Make up just slides onto my skin like butter now. I use TBS aloe creamy cleanser with a little water and apply it to my face. I then start using the brush without anything on it. I've been wanting one of these for years, but didn't like the price, but if I had known the results would be this great I would have purchased one years ago. Definitely worth it. After each use, I remove the brush and rinse it clean to store it. I am acne prone and do still have some break outs so I will not act as if this brush is going to prevent breakouts, but it does cleanse the skin well- much better than using a wash cloth.

Conditioner -Aubrey Organics - Island Naturals Replenishing Conditioner

I really like AO conditioners. It smells like ginger and moisturizes my hair well. I have used it as a deep conditioner on dry hair and on wet hair. It works well either way. HoneySuckle Rose is still my fav.

Conditioner -Garnier - Fructis Leave-In Conditioning Cream, Sleek & Shine

An amazing product that really aids at detangling my 4c hair. It also smells nice- light crispy fruit. I want other conditioner makers to pay attention to this bottle because it's made well. I don't have to worry about having difficulty getting the product out even when I'm at the bottom and the bottle is made to easily squeeze out product. Also it has no parabens so I guess the ingredients have changed.

Polishes -OPI - Deutsch You Want Me Baby

Deutshch you want me baby is a nice shimmery burnt orange shade that applies evenly and smoothly. It looks great with only one coat; however, I used two. It has a wide brush that was a little difficult for me to use for a pedicure but for a manicure it's great.

Scrubs -The Body Shop - Chocomania Body Scrub

Chocomania body scrub applies smoothly over the skin and it feels so silky going on- almost like a lotion. It also makes my skin feel so nice and soft. The only negative is how messy it is. It gets all over the place when applying this.
