Blush -MAC - Briar Rose (Venomous VIllains)
Roxxy6341 10/10/2010 4:23:00 PM
This is the most gorgeous beauty powder MAC has ever come out with! I am NW20 and lean towards the yellow side, and this powder complements my skin so nicely! The color can be a subtle purple-pink, or it can be built up to and intense flush. I fin this BP easy to work with as a blush. It can be a bit harsh though, so I advise you not to go all heavy handed with it. I'm really glad I picked this up, and I can see why it was so hyped up. This is a gorgeous product, very unique, and if you can still get it- I advise you to.

Hair -Wen by Chaz Dean - Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner
Roxxy6341 9/6/2010 8:30:00 AM
I was very surprised when I tried this product. I had seen it advertised on QVC, and I was always curious about trying it but, didn't want to fork over the money just to be disappointed. So, the other day my mom brought home a brand new bottle (all sealed) from a second hand store. Now, with this shampoo/conditioner thing, you apply a wad of it into your hair and massage through. It wont lather, and if you have super oily hair, it won't feel like its cleaning your hair. My hair is very dry, and color treated, fried, etc. This conditioner makes my hair so bouncy and so full of life. It smells great. Very minty. The only reason I took off a lippie is because if my hair is very oily, this does not clean my hair, or take the oil out. Will repurchase :)

Blush -Korres - Zea Mays Powder blush in 16 Pink
Roxxy6341 9/2/2010 11:47:00 PM
I got this in a swap, and I'm so glad I did! This is a very beautiful, pigmented pink color! This looks beautiful on my yellow toned NW20 skin. I like to apply this with the ELF Studio Powder Brush, and concentrate on the apples of my cheeks. The packaging is very nice for this blush too. Its a sturdy compact with very big mirror! You get a lot of product in the pan too! Great blush, will repurchase :)

Treatments (Eye) -Christian Dior - Capture Totale Eye
Roxxy6341 8/21/2010 12:06:00 PM
I am very impressed with is eye cream. First off, I didn't buy the bottle. I was given so many generous samples, that the samples added up to being the contents of the bottle. I really like the smell of the products in the Capture Totale line. The scent for this creme does not effect the eye area, or effects the area in any way. Prior to this eye creme, I had never used one before, and I have to say this was a good introduction to eye cremes. This really improved my dark circles, and my eye area seemed less puffy in the mornings. I still have quite a few sample packets to go, but I think I can safely say I like what this eye cream has done for me, and I would look into purchasing it :)

Treatments -Christian Dior - Capture Totale One Essential Skin Boosting Super Serum
Roxxy6341 8/16/2010 12:05:00 AM
This is quite an interesting serum. This has done extraordinary things for my skin. I apply it at night, and when I wake up in the morning my skin is brighter, clearer, less red, and not puffy. This serum says it works as a detox for the skin, and I believe it. My skin looks so much fresher after using it, and the best part about this is that it didn't break me out! Overall I am very impressed with this serum and the Capture Totate line as a whole. Oh! One thing I forgot to mention, this serum smells so lovely, but it may be overpowering to some. I recommend trying this before you buy it :)

Primer/ Corrector -Philosophy - The Present Clear Makeup
Roxxy6341 8/15/2010 5:15:00 PM
For my 100th review I wanted to review a product that has made a big difference in my life. The Present is a clear primer that claims to give you an airbrushed look. It applys smoothly, and a little goes a long way. I usually put this on before I brush my teeth in the morning, so that when i'm done the product has had its 2 min setting time. The Present smells just like the Hope in a Jar (lavender scented), but doesn't have the burning effect some Philosophy products tend to have on my skin. The final result with this primer, is smooth, flawless, pore free skin. I really like this, and I will continue to buy. :)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Concrete
Roxxy6341 7/31/2010 2:01:00 PM
This is a great basic, dark brow shadow. I use this for the lower, and upper lashline instead of using a liner. Its a deep brown that won't turn purple during the day like others tend to do on me (*cough* Satin Taupe *cpugh*). This shadow applies like a dream, and is easily blended for subtle looks. Again, I have nothing negative to say about this product. Will repurchase.

Cleansers -LUSH - coal face soap
Roxxy6341 7/30/2010 4:20:00 AM
The simple fact is, all LUSH products do not work for everybody. I got a sample of this, because I had heard good things about it. It has no scent really. Coal Face is a very strange little soap. When I tried it in the shower, it felt nice on my skin, cleaned it pretty well, but when I got out, boy did I need moisturizer. This just sucked the oil-moisture-whatnot out of my face. I like this for the summertime when i'm a bit more oily, this helps keep my face pretty clean. The sample I go was very generous, and as I'm not using it now for my face, I use it as a hand soap, and finish it. I don't think I will repurchase, simply because this was not for me.

Polishes -Unlisted Brand - So Easy Stripe Rite
Roxxy6341 7/30/2010 3:32:00 AM
I love this nail paint! I own it in white. Its a nice opaque, creme, white color. With this I can make a foolproof french manicure. I like these because the are simple to use, and save me money. I like the size of the cap, it fits my hand perfectly so application is super easy. I really have no negative things to say about these, and next time i'm at Sally's, i'm picking up more.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Sassy Grass
Roxxy6341 7/29/2010 4:26:00 PM
Sassy Grass is a matte kelly green eyeshadow. for a matte, it's very pigmented. It applies very smooth, and can be blended for a subtle look, or built up for a dramatic look. This color is very long lasting (it stayed on without primer, and through 94 degree weather). I use this as a liner to accent my hazel eyes. The color adds a nice unexpected punch to my eyeshadow look, but isn't overkill. This is a very unique shadow for my collection (Humid is more of a pine green in comparison, in case anyone was wondering). I will repurchase for sure, and would recommend this to anyone who likes color, or wants to try color. :)

Lipstick -MAC - Phlox
Roxxy6341 7/29/2010 3:54:00 PM
I can't believe I didn't discover Phlox sooner! Im NW20, and i'd say my lips aren't very pigmented. Phlox is a very nice natural color that gives my lips a glaze of pink with violet sheen. I got this from the Back2Mac program, and I usually gravitate towards nudes, but the SA suggested this one, and I thought i'd give it a go. I absolutely love the color. It adds a nice pop of color to my face without being too in your face. Like all MAC lipsticks it smells, and tastes like Jordan Almonds. The finish is a glaze, so it's a smooth application. I really like this lipstick, and I would repurchase. :)

Eyes -MAC - pro eyeshadow - lime
Roxxy6341 7/29/2010 3:47:00 PM
I like this color. The name is very true to it's color. Its just a matte lime. I like this as an all over lid color or to use in the crease. Its very pigmented for a matte shadow, and it has pretty good staying power (No primer, 94 degree weather). The color is also nice for me to use to bring out the green in my hazel eyes. Its a nice refreshing color when your bored of nudes. Overall I have nothing negative to say about this color, and will repurchase.

Tinted Moisturizer -Patricia Wexler MD Dermatology - Daily Defense Anti-Oxidant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 in Light
Roxxy6341 7/24/2010 1:47:00 PM
I picked this up at the Bath and Body Works Sale. I don't use foundation, and thought a light tinted moisturizer would be nice to have. It had SPF 30, and was really inexpensive, so I bought one. Im NW20, and the light shade was a bit too dark for me. It gave me some nice healthy color though, so props for that. The application was a little runny, so I applied with my hands opposed to using a brush. I didn't like how the product settled on my skin. It was a little too dewy for my taste, and I set it with and MSFN. Another time I tried this with a setting powder, and used MUFE HD. Adding the setting powder made the TM feel heavy on my face. Once in awhile this is a good product to use, but for everyday this is not a good product for me. I will finish my tube, but will not repurchase.

Eye Shadow -MAC - In the Groove mineralize eyeshadow trio
Roxxy6341 7/24/2010 1:09:00 PM
In the Groove was the one trio I really wanted to get from the collection. I loved the pale green, and the deep burgundy color in the trio. I don't use the peach as much, but it is still a beautiful color. I love the green to use as an all over lid color paired with Omega eyeshadow, and the burgundy color as a liner. The burgundy color was what I expected beauty marked to be. I really like this trio. The colors are pigmented, and are easy to work with. I'm very happy with this trio, and will probably be buying more mineralized products in the future.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Euro Beat Dazzleglass
Roxxy6341 7/24/2010 12:53:00 PM
I picked this up at CCO for $12. I really like the color. Its a bright salmon-ish pink with violet, and golden reflects. Euro Beat is one of the Dazzleglasses that is not particularly gritty or disco ball-ish when its applied. Its very smooth, and true to the color in the tube. Its very smooth, like a lipglass, and tastes/ smells like Jordan Almonds (YUM). The only thing I dislike about this particular gloss is the brush applicator. I much prefer a doe foot, and I find too much gloss can get on the brush, potentially making the gloss harder to apply. I really liked this dazzleglass, and will look into purchasing it again if it's repromoted.
