I absolutely adore this mask. It didn't irritate my super sensitive skin, it helped pull all the gunk in pores out, made my skin bright & not too dry. I will definitely be repurchasing this. I didn't find the applicator messy at all...I actually quite like it. You need to brush it off on the edges before lifting it out of the bottle like you would with nail polish. For extra cuteness I put on my BeneFit Bathina shower cap :-P
