Lip Liners -Revlon - COLORSTAY® LIP LINER
rated 4 of 5

I bought this in Mauve for a nude look with a hint of color for my tan complexion. I lined my lips, filled them in and put my lipstick over it. The product isn't rock hard like crappy eyeliner that tugs on your eyes, but it's not creamy either. It was a little hard to put it on because of that consistency, but it does have staying power. I feel that it helped my lipstick last longer than it would without the lip liner.

Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - The Brush Guard
rated 5 of 5

After reading reviews before my purchase, I saw that a few people had an issue with the size of the brush guards. I have about 15-20 brushes right now and decided to test the variety pack to see the actual sizes before purchasing multiple packs. For my ELF and MAC brushes, the shadow size fit for my tiny concealer brushes and angled eyeliner brush. They look super tiny, but they also fit ALL of my eye brushes perfectly. Remember, they're tight yet stretchable to shape your brushes! I hope this helps! :)

Lipstick -Revlon - ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor - Always Sienna

Comparing this to the Cover Girl version, Revlon's is much better. Cover Girl: • color stays on for a long time • product dries lips • balm helps dried lips and adds shine • flakey after a while Revlon: • color stays on for a long time • GREAT gloss on opposite end • when product fades, it's less noticeable (compared to CG) and less flakey This version is better, trust me.

Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF 15 - Goddess
rated 4 of 5

For $1, this is a pretty good product! I've also tried it in Chandelier, but all that does is gives my lips a shine. Goddess gives both a natural color and shine.

Eyeliner -Avon - Ultra Luxury Eye Liner

I tried this b/c my coworker's makeup always looks nice and she said it's the blackest black she's ever used. The product got on my eyes: great. No tugging: great. Stay power: BAD. I have yet to find a pencil eyeliner that stays put...or a product to keep them in place!

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse

As a foundation, this isn't a good product. When I put it on my cheeks, it looks OK. When I put it on my forehead, it looks so much lighter! I've used it as a concealer to hide scarring on my face, but it does look cakey with more product. I've been using this for hiding accidental love bites. Other than that, I wouldn't buy this again.

It has a minty taste, nice color and it's easy to layer. It's a great product, no problems with packaging either. I got it as a sample and have been using it almost everyday. I might buy more when I run out.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 266 Thin Small Angle (Synthetic hair)
rated 5 of 5
Happicuupcake 12/12/2012 3:49:00 AM

I'm CRAZY for this brush! Out of my 5 MAC brushes, this is my favorite! I use it to apply eyeshadow on my lower lash line, since liquid eyeliner doesn't work with me. It's super thin and allows me to put eyeshadow only where I want it. I have no complaints against this brush. It's the BEST!

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Line Eyeshadow 'C' Brush
rated 5 of 5
Happicuupcake 12/12/2012 3:39:00 AM

This is my favorite out of my 5 ELF brushes! I like to use it to apply eyeshadow and also blend it. It definitely did a better job than ELF's Blending Brush. The Eyeshadow "C" Brush applies eyeshadow perfectly, no shedding, comfortable on the eyes. You're going to fall in love with this!

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Blending Brush
rated 1 of 5
Happicuupcake 12/12/2012 3:20:00 AM

I bought this with a couple of other ELF brushes and found this to be the worst one! I don't know if the color of the handle matters, but I ordered it online and got the brush with the black handle. It did a poor job at blending. It was like I was just using an invisible brush on my face. I ended up using my fingers and they did a better job! If you're looking for a good eye brush from ELF, I would recommend the Eyeshadow C brush. Don't get the Blending Brush!
