Great Palette! My fav UB palette! I'm a cult UB palette follower and got this palette the day it was available! lol I'm a NC50 and loved the variety of colors that were in this palette, new and old! I uploaded swatches of my arm to give people a better idea of how it looks on dark skin. I use Chase, Deeper, and MIA as daily natural looks. -Chase: true gold shade that I use as a highlighter - Deeper: melts into my skin tone while making it glow - MIA: satin brown that blends wonderfully with the other neutrals Standouts: -Ace: Satin textured, highly pigmented gunmetal color. I use it as a smoky eye with some of the peachy shades. -Flow: great highlighter shade, peachy effortless. - Deep End: wish i had more reasons to wear this teal shade, it is gorgeous and I will probably use more if it playing with my makeup, than going out with it! Packaging: Love the mirror size, like how you can remove the palette as a tray, and like how the mirror is not attached. Pros: +Color variety and quality +Price is great (vs. buying individuals) +Mix of shimmer, satin and matte Cons: -Midnight Rodeo obnoxious glitter (WHO actually likes this?!) - Limited Edition (What am I going to do if I want another?!) Definitely Rec'd if you can find it! :)

Makeup Brushes -Sephora - Professionnel Platinum Blush Brush #49

This brush is hands down my favorite brush! I didn't think I needed a new brush until I saw this baby. It was love at first "touch". lol The densely packed Taklon bristles in this brush were irresistible! I use this brush everyday as a highlighter and contouring face brush. It has no problems picking up my blushes and powders. I have questioned the quality of some Sephora brushes... but THIS one is Top-Notch!! Highly Rec'd! Enjoy!

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #130 Short Duo Fibre Brush
Ellety 8/29/2012 11:44:00 AM
I bought this #130 duo fibre brush as a SE set during the Holiday 2011 season. It has a clear glittered short handle. This set was made in China and most of the brushes don't compare to their full-lengthed counterparts. I was surprised how useful the #130 SE brush was for me. I love how densely packed the bristles are. The brush holds its shape as a stippling tool. I use it to touch up small areas with MAC skinfinish powder before I use an all-over face brush. Also, I tend to use it to lightly disperse highly-pigmented shadows as a highlighter, then blend it in with my blush brush. Definitely a staple! This made the SE set worth buying! :)
