For those who don't know, Bath and Body has a new line of lemon scented body splash, lotion, body meringue, 3 in 1 lotions etc. I knew I would enjoy the fragrance-lemon custard/pie smelling. I headed straight for the lotion as always. I did not have much time that day, so I quickly picked up the lotion and left. The lotion is....not great in terms of moisturizing ability. In fact, it feels rather heavy and clammy feeling on your hands. The glitter is fun, but very young looking, making this something you (most likely!) couldn't wear during the day time at work, as the glitter is VERY noticeable! As with the first reviewer, I wasn't expecting to find a miracle holy grail lotion in this product...I just might've picked up something else besides the lotion. The smell of the lotion itself is great. The lemon smell is pretty realistic, and it doesn't smell like you have smeared Lemon Pledge all over your body. I hope that in the future, they will have this in a more "normal" body lotion like the Signature line. As of now, this product is only Limited Edition, but I would definitely like to see BBW keep this product!

Lip Treatments -SoftLips - French Vanilla spf 15

This is great stuff. The packaging is slim and is easy to take with you, which is also crucial. The product has a nice "slip" on the lips and the smell is a soft, faint vanilla. I can't imagine this being a nuisance for anyone! This is a classic. SoftLips is a great product. It is not heavy duty, but a great "my lips are sort of dry" remedy. Super! :)

BEST LOTION I HAVE USED, HANDS DOWN!!! I can not rave enough about this lotion. It is light as a feather and sinks right in. I can not stand clammy feeling hands, and cloying fragrances, but this is so light and clean smelling. I can't imagine the smell bothering anyone! Just try it at the store the next time you are there. It is usually on sale, and even if it is not, it still costs like $6. This is my holy grail lotion. I am on my third bottle. It is a lotion that you can go back to during the day and the smell won't overwhelm you. Definitely a great thing to have at a desk at work. LOVE IT!

Lip Treatments -Too Faced - Lip Injection Extreme

First off I want to mention that I love lip plumpers. They are addictive, and the tingle is great! I bought this product in hopes that it was even more oomph than what Lip Injection does. I guess I was wrong about this product. Maybe I have a bad product, but I can hardly feel anything on my lips. Hours later I feel a cracked lip feeling, which is strange. I will not be repurchasing the extreme lip injection product, and will instead stay with Lip Injection (the original) It is gooey-er and gives a big tingle feeling that really produces immediate effects. I know this is a more long term product though. If you believe you are getting lip injection at a higher level, BEWARE. Don't make the dumb mistake like I did and not read the packaging :)

Self Tanners -Ulta - Tinted Self Tanning Gel in Medium Deep

I was happy to see a new self tanner product at Ulta when I wandered over there in late January! I was tempted to purchase SUN Laboratories Ultra Dark lotion and instead picked this up. The packaging looks very similar to L'Oreal Sublime Bronze, and thought "maybe this is a knockoff that works just as well"
I may have started to write this a bit premature, but I have used the product a few times, and will edit this review if something changes.
The first thing that jumps out at you is the SMELL. UGH! Not good. Instead of the self tanner smell (you know what I mean!) it smells like deoderant--and not just deoderant, but a men's deoderant! EEEW! :)
Not the best smelling self tanner in the world. Don't put it on your face if you hate bad smelling products. Blech!
The rest below is my edited response, after using the product a few times.....
I hate this stuff. It stinks, the color slides around on the skin, and dries funny. It is EXTREMELY slow to dry, and the color doesn't settle right, leaving a diseased, striped and mottled look that was NOT what I was after!.
Please save your money! This ranks in the worst in my opinion! I ended up purchasing SUN Labs Ultra Dark anyway, and was very happy I did.

I agree with Marleypup-- Great fragrance (one of my absolute favorites ever!) The lotion is VERY runny..you tip the lotion over and the lotion comes spilling out. It is not a lotion that needs to be tapped to get product out! I can see a huge mess in my future if the cap busts off! Anyway, A+ to the smell of the lotion/Aquolina Pink Sugar, but the packaging doesn't work with the liquidy consistancy of the lotion. Maybe a delicate upright pump dispenser would be a good option? The lotion itself smells amazing, and does not sway from the fragrance. I would buy this again no doubt, even with the issues above!

Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Maybelline XL Lip Plumper

I bit the bullet and bought a brand new product that is a lip plumper. I have hesitation usually buying new plumpers without checking here at MUA first. Why? Because it seems like alot of products in this category fall under the old time "snake oil" category-they promise the world and fall flat on their pretty (little!) lips. I bought this at Walgreens today for $9 (!) I couldn't help myself. I have a pink color-color 115. It is a lovely pink color-not too bubblegum, not too brown pink. Anyway, let's talk about the packaging first........................................ The delivery is interesting. It is not a lipstick, but a highly pigmented gloss. The gloss is delivered by a twist up stick. There is no spongy wand at the end, or a brush type thing...it is just a slanted piece of plastic with holes to let the product out. You have to click and twist. The product is a nice consistancy--not too sticky, not too sheer............................................................................................ On to the main reason you would buy this product: the plumping! Hmm..this is an interesting product. I have used plumpers before. My favorites are Too Faced Lip Injection and Lip Venom. Too Faced is very strong and cinnamon-y and you can feel the prickly heat!.................... This product feels like your lips are numb when you put it on. I slathered a nice level on my lips and I felt like I came from the dentist! I don't know if my lips look plumper, but they felt different! .................................................................................................. I have been wearing the product for about 20 minutes now and the feeling subsides a bit to a slight tingle. Hmmm.. ..................................................................................................' Would I buy this product again? Maybe. I am not in any way displeased with this product, but it doesn't seem to be as potent as Too Faced Lip Injection. BUT it was not a waste of money by any means. I felt that way about Sally Hansen's plumper product (waste!) but this might be something to look into. Especially if you don't want to spend as much for Lip Venom/Lip Injection/City Lips etc. __________________________________________________________ Verdict? Interesting tingle--numbing effect, not a hot tingle like Too Faced. Colors are gorgeous. Price...eh? Ok. Might have to be one of those products that you have to try for yourself to see what I mean (unfortunately!) I wish I could say either this is the best product ever, or the worst, but the slight tingle feeling after waiting is an interesting feeling :) I gave this 3 lippies because although I am intrigued by this product, for real POW lip plumpers I will continue to use Too Faced/Lip Venom.

Lip Gloss -Rimmel - Underground-Kiss Off

GORGEOUS COLORS! I am SO glad I bought this product at Ulta the other day. First off, I bought the color "FEVER" which is a beautiful shimmering coral/peach. I was afraid it would be one of those glosses that looks amazing in the packaging, but looks horrible on, or has no color. Thiis lip gloss has a light peachish color, but the shimmer makes up for lack of color. The shimmer is light reflective, and not too heavy. It is not heavy glitter, just a nice light reflective particle.
I really like this product because I can layer it with other lipsticks for a nice effect. I have Covergirl's "Incrediful" in 960 (a peachy color) that I have been using as a base and painting the Rimmel lipgloss on top (specifically in the center of the lip) It creates a gorgeous look!
I am excited to find this product, and so look forward to trying other colors (namely the bright fuschia) For those who remember the store "Skin Market" they used to sell a lipgloss called "Infared" that looks like this product. I love the dimension and the colors! :)
Only downside?? Perhaps the stickiness, but I don't notice it at all.I don't think it is any worse than L'oreal colorjuice/Lancome Juicy Tubes PLUS it comes with a nice brush applicator so you can control where the color goes! :) YAY!

I agree w/ Vanity. I do not like this product for my extremely curly, coarse hair. It was very goopy, sticky and smells...meh...not the best. Schwartzkopf serum or Citre Shine are miracle workers to me. I borrowed some of this from my mother while at her house, and left me with extremely dried, poofy hair. In the end, I do not recommend this product, especially if you have curly hair. My hair was not on Cloud 9! :)

Self Tanners -Banana Boat - Sundial Face Self-Tanning Moisturizer

If I were writing a story, my headline for this product would be: " Nice Product, Bad Packaging" !!! Seriously. I like the product, I like the fact that it has an added face moisturizer, but the packaging on my bottle gave up only after a few weeks! I can't pump any product out anymore! :( Sad, because the product works well. It has a dual chamber dispenser, one with moisturizer, and one with the tanner. There are two little holes where the product comes out. I am not sure if my product is clogged, or the dispenser isn't working, but nonetheless, I can't get anything out of it! The product itself is nice! The moisturizer makes the product "goop-less" and not so thick on your face. The product didn't dry so fast on my face, which is another "con" on the list of pros and cons to buy this product, but the color was very believable, and sheer! Ugh. I am conflicted about this review, because it is a good product, but you have the risk of buying a product with a poorly made dispenser, so take it for what it is worth! If you want to go ahead and get the product you won't be disappointed in the self tanner itself!

I used to work for EXPRESS, and we got a sample of this product a few years ago...I could NOT get enough of the smell! I usually go for very foody smells, but this was totally different-- sexy, slightly masculine, not overpowering....very intoxicating! It is not a floral, it is not very fruity....I haven't smelled anything like it before, it is hard to explain! Like other reviewers I can't find it anymore at BBW.... The lotion is great as well... I want this stuff again! :)

Ugh... I got the sample at BBW so I could get the holiday coupon book (needed to purchase more to reach $30)...I quickly grabbed this stuff... I agree w/ the first reviewer-the smell is cloying and overpowering. I have never been a huge apple smell fan, but the title sounded great. I wanted to find a apple pie ish smell, and this wasn't it. Try it first at BBW before buying a regular sized container. This gave me a headache!

I totally agree with Marlena...this is a cute, great product! First of all, let me say that I LOVE Brocato's packaging! In a sea full of brightly colored, "look at me" packaging, Brocato's understated white bottles with Brocato written in cursive on the bottom of the bottle is refreshing. I can "see" the product better. Sometimes, with the brightly colored bottles, I am so mesmerized by their flash that I don't even read what type of product I am buying, lol. Brocato is one of my favorite lines. The shimmer spray is GORGEOUS. I wish I knew about this stuff sooner! As was mentioned in Marlena's review, this product comes in three different colors. I chose the silvery version. It is a gorgeous silver and IS perfect for a night out (or a fun day, lol) I have tried other glitter sprays before, but this one tops my list. I also used to like Skin Market's hair glitter spray, and Bath and Body's glittery hair spray, but this one takes the cake for the style of the glitter, and the non-stiff formula! PS..I bought this product at Ulta, where they currently have a buy 2 get 1 free promotion. Thumbs up! :)

Cleansers -St. Ives - Clear Pore Cleanser [DISCONTINUED]

I think I will start out with my consensus on this product in clinical terms: yuck. :) St Ives is a brand that many women know and trust. At least this woman does! The apricot scrub has come in handy so many times. It is a good product that does its job. Other St. Ives face washes are ok as well. I was disappointed in this product though. I am an economist-I try to finish the entire product before moving on (well, at least for face wash, shampoo is another story!) but..I don't know if I am going to finish this stuff! This product is geared towards "Oily/Blemish Prone Skin" The product has natural tea tree oil to quote "deep clean pores".. I should've noticed the tea tree oil before I bought this product, but I had to grab and go. Tea tree oil might be an irritant to some people's skin, so be forewarned! The reason why I didn't like this product is because it was very drying, like others have said. I was going through a small acne outbreak, and really wanted something geared for oily skin, however, this product overdried my skin to where I had to put on tons of moisturizer to compensate for the product. That isn't how it should go! My skin got really dry and scaly, just to let you know. Basically, no, I am not recommending this product, as you can see from above, lol :) There are so many other products out there (better) Not only was the product bad, the smell didn't even move me to write a slightly better review. The smell of the product isn't very refreshing--kind of a mix between a soapy smell and a very faint grass/mint smell.

Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Dr. Pepper lipsmackers

Stellar product! As everyone knows, Bonne Bell is a childhood staple. What you may not know is that this can be a great product for an adult too. Heck, I had forgotten about LipSmackers until I looked on MUA for a good, emolliant chapstick/gloss! Like everyone has said, the color is perfectfor summer! It is a very light reddish clear color! Plus, the product is emolliant, and keeps your lips from feeling chapped. This is a great product that shouldn't be overlooked, just because it was something you used as a child! Not only is this great alone for a natural makeup day/summer day, but it can be mixed with other lip products to tone down the color, and keep a nice feeling on your lips! Awesome...thanks to everyone who recommended this product! MUA is the best!
