Lip Gloss -MAC - Tartlette

Ok so I bought this because of all the great reviews, and I have to say I really like this gloss. I have been wearing it everyday since I bought it :) It looked like my beloved Beaute gloss (my HG sooo sad its LE), but its actually way brighter (more of a pink coral rather than peach coral like beaute) and is shimmery (think Prrr) than glittery. I still adore my Beaute but this definitely ranks up there! The reviewer below said it perfect a cross between Pink Lemonade (LOVE) and PRR (LOVE). If you are fan of both those glosses then you will for sure love Tartlette! UPDATE: 4/13/06 The Sweetie Cakes Launch just came out from MAC and they have a lipgloss called Petit Four I think is that name and it is a dead ringer for Tartlette! Also an LE so grab it now!

Eyes -Too Faced - eye shadow duo - poodle puff

I like too faces shadows but I already own so many MAC and UD ones and I find they are very similar in some of the shades. I bought poodle puff and all in all I like it. Its not OH MY GOD (like the purples in the MAC Thunder quad OMG!) but they're pretty none the less. I don't think I will ever finish this duo since I dont use it often , so I wouldn't repurchase.

Lips -Smashbox - Lipgloss in Smashing Shoot

LOVE the color of this gloss (resembles NARS Orgasm lipgloss). How ever (as with all the shimmer glosses by Smashbox) it feels gritty to me (I'm assuming because of the glitter) so I took off one lippie. But I do really like this color and texture aside I would repurchase if I ever run out. That tube looks so small but I have been using the same tube for quite a while! :)

I was lemming over this for a while and finally bought it (along with pixel). I like this gloss (I find it STRONGLY resembles MAC Nymphette), but I feel its a bit gritty. I have shoot as well and I love the color but same thing, kinda gritty so I took of 1 lippie. I thinks its the sparkles. That being said I do really like the gloss. Especially now that I have added my blonde to my hair it looks nice. I think I like the no shimmer ones better (Pixel and bombshell). Probably wouldn't repurchase A: because I dont reach for it often enough to use up the tube anytime soon and B: Nymphette is so similar to it and I find I like the texture and feel of that one more.

Like the blush this is a SUPER hyped up product! I'm a sucker for golden/peachy/corals and I love the blush so it was only a matter of time before I would buy this (And by that I mean when it was actually IN stock long enough for me TO BUY IT!). I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Its not a STAND OUT shade but it is a very subtle (Like the blush) peachy lip color. I thinks it's a YLBB lipgloss. Perfect by itself for everyday wear or to add some shimmer at night over a darker lipstick. Would definitely repurchase when I run out.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Free To Be Quad

Out of this collection the Inventive eye pallette was DEFINITLY the stand out (one of my HG's). However I bought this one mainly because I had been wanting Smut and they were ALWAYS sold out at the Pro store (although this one is almost black with red flecks, and the single seems more blackish brown? Hmmm....). But I do LOVE the light pink! Fabulous highlighter! Reminds me of Phloof but with more irridencent pink than white like in Phloof. The light blue color is pretty as well though I dont think its an AMAZING blue like some of MAC's other ones. And the brown is a very nice matte brown as well (reminds me of Omega which I love). all in all a decent quad.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Inventive Eyes Quad

Love love love this quad! My favorite along with Thunder eyes! You can wear it naturally during the day and amped up for night! Not to crazy about Velour (is actually an old discontinued shade they brought back for this collection), but the other 3 make it well worth it!!! I'm not sure if you can get it anymore (it was LE) however you might be able to get it off ebay. If you can't here are their twins or VERY close sister shades: White wheat - Vanilla pigment in pressed form. I did a swap of the 2 next to each other and there is NOOOO difference. Twillery - EXTREMELY close to Woodwinked but a little less golden than woodwinked, however wipe some Shroom over woodwinked and WALAH Twillery! Velour - dove grey matte purple color. I think the Pro stores still have this color? Other than that don't know. I would get Shale instead, similar color family, MUCH prettier color! Inventive - SAME color as Trax but with less gold flecks in it. However if you put them on with a brush the color is almost IDENTICAL except Inventive is a smidgen darker (think a cross between Trax and Sketch)

Palettes -MAC - Thunder Eyes

MY FAVORITE QUAD to date next to Inventive eyes quad (Naturally eccentric collection). The colors are AMAZING and work on ANYONE (beleive me I have used them on many different faces!) Thunder is my favorite especially with Sketch (a color I have always loved!). If you can still grab one DO! You will be so sorry you didn't once they're gone!

MY FAVORTIE GLOSS!!! HG! I have gotten so many people hooked on this gloss and I want to cry that they no longer make it. However I haven't finished my tube and I just bought a new one on ebay so I wont be running out for a while :) Very similar to Pink Lemonade (my other fave, I'm a sucker for coral!)however a littler more sheer, more pearly and more peachy-coral rather than pinky-coral. THis is the BEST Spring/Summer lippy! I'm keeping my eye out for a similar shade to be released by MAC this summer (they have a tendancy to do that with the LE), but I will be truely sad the day I run out of my beloved Beaute!

Oh how I LOTHE this color! I look like the night of the living dead fairy! I feel like I have red bloodshot eyes with red fairy dust all over my face! :) It looks so pretty in its pot but becomes something dreadful on my eyes! Sorry to be the one to bash this but I just can't say anything nice about it. If you want that reddish copper go with amber lights!

This one and Sable are the same for me.... love the idea of this color, but don't really love the color it comes out on my eyes. I almost feel a little like i have Jaundice! Maybe its the frostiness, I don't know? LOVE Bronze and Stila Golightly. Romp is alittle better on me too but still I have a love hate relationship with it. Wouldn't buy again... too many other better bronzes.

Hmmmmm....... on the fence on this one so I gave it a 3. I feel towards this like I feel towards Mulch, somedays I love it somedays I hate it and feel like I look like bloodshot on other days. I think I like bronze more for my green eyes and its similar, and I LOVE stila's Golightly (similar but more golden brown), I will keep it because somedays I do really love it, but I don't think I will be buying again. Would rather repurchase Stila Golightly or MAC bronze before this one.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this! LOVE IT! I pair it with cloud and chinois and it makes my green eyes look AMAZING! the pairing Looks gorgeous on blue and hazel eyes too! I find that I ALWAYS wear this combo when I'm taking pictures (not alot of shimmer or frost so it doesn't reflect off the camera making eyes and make-up look better), or if I just want a polished look! Looks boring at first glance but it SOOOOOOOO isn't! Cant rave enough! YEAY FOR RAIN!

One of Mac's most famous. Great highlighter! Goes with everything! If it's too frosty for you though go with Dazzlelight (it's the toned down sister) or if you want something warmer go with Ricepaper. I love it!
