Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Dandelion

Well,I feel like I'm the last person on Earth to review this product.:) What needs to be said first is that I love it. There are only a few blushes out there that do not make me look like a clown and Dandelion is definitely one of them. Very sheer pink light color perfect for spring/summer. I have two gripes with it:first the pricetag-a little pricey for a blush but seeing how I like it oh so much, perhaps it is reasonable. Second is the brush that comes with the original packaging- kind of hard to use,so I just use my normal full-sized brush. I use a little more on cheeks for color, and a light dusting on the forehead, nose, and chin for all-over shimmer.Overall a great product and I will probably repurchase.

Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Pleasures

This was a present from me to me last Christmas:my first "adult" fragrance so to speak. I love it. I was torn between Glamourous and this, and decided that this was fresher and more appropriate for someone my age. Didn't give me watery eyes or anything like that,in fact,I think as it evaporates during the day it leaves just a very delicious hint of smell-just the way I like it. No overpowering smells here. Unfortunately,my boyfriend's mom uses the same perfume and he told me it reminds him of her,so i don't wear it very often. Shame:).

Cleansers -Aura Science - 3 Step Face Regimen

Bought this line in phase one(for teenage skin as far as I understand)and love it. As they are new it was cheap enough that I tried the 3-step system, their undereye cream and a blush brush. I have dark circles under eyes and their cream works even better than my old Murad. I am amazed. The brush is honestly the best I've ever owned for blush application. I apply mostly my BeneFit Dandelion with it and it just looks so pink and perfect. But on to the 3-step system. Now,I was never a person with big skin problems, but I get dry patches of skin around the mouth(and I mean DRY- one lasted for two months with every day moisturizing). I also have an oily T-zone and none of my drugstore astringents ever did much good. Until now, that is. I love the cleanser because it's one of the only that doesn't strip my skin. The prep is nice, I am not sure if I'm crazy about it but it feels refreshing,so I'll keep using it. But my favorite part is definitely the light moisturizer- it is so light and spreads out so evenly, that I can't possibly find a better base for my foundation. I will definitely repurchase this set once I run out,if they don't come out with some truly miraculous overnight-perfect-skin products (and ladies, honestly, what are the odds of that happening?).

Foundations -Paula Dorf - Moisture Foundation Oil Free

Bought it on my latest vacation in Florida, and absolutely love it. Most foundations are horrible on me- oily on t-zone, dry around the mouth and cheeks-plain horrible. But this looks wonderful, doesn't make me look made up, blends well, and compliments my skin tone great. Overall,I like it a lot. $36 is a little pircey, but since this works so well I will repurchase. Update:This is my HG now.I have pretty good skin to begin with but with this foundation it now looks flawless. I don't even use concealer any more. It gives plenty of coverage for the little imperfections I have. Also goes through 8 hours of sweating and sun(with sunblock underneath it) and ends up looking matte, not shiny, and all exactly where I applied it.I went shopping for Chanel makeup last week and the MAs started asking what I use for my skin, because it looks perfect. :)Might be a dose of flattery and good acting, but they were really impressed.

Cleansers -St. Ives - Clear Pore Cleanser [DISCONTINUED]

Well, I got out of the shower a few hours ago after trying just a tiny bit of this stuff( from my roommate-I know, bad girl). Well, the smells never really bother me,so that wasn't a problem. My skin does feel clean and a little tight and dry, but I can just apply a little moisturizer over the dry areas. Cleans very well, the package is pretty bad-the little pump thingy keeps falling off. I would probably buy it to use once in a while when I'm feeling especially greasy. I have combo/dry skin.

Tinted Moisturizer -Clinique - City Block Sheer Tint

I got this a few weeks ago in Medium/Dark. It is a little bit darker than my skin tone, but will fit just right during the sumer when my face is darker. I tried it on, it is oil-free and has SPF 15. It protects and doesn't make me break out.Comes in the signature light green Clinique tube, has a light color to it so it doesn't really look like foundation. Perfect for those summer days when you want your skin to look good, but don't feel like going under a coat of makeup with a cakey finish. Has physical sunscreens,so protects against sun really well. I will buy this again for next summer, if I run out, but the tube is pretty big so that may not be necessary.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Eye Express Eyeliner

I got this about half a year ago in Black Velvet. Didn't use it much until this year, but suddenly found that it is watery, not particularly black any more. When I put it on it dries pretty fast, but still leaves a thin dark line just under the brow bone, which looks pretty bad.I also have dry skin, so oil is not a factor. I would not buy this again. I will opt for a waterproof eyeliner from Sephora.
