Styling Products -Living Proof - Full Thickening Cream

PROS -Thickens a little -Adds lots of shine and softness -Cute packaging -Smells good CONS -Price -Doesn't do what the product claims. I didn't see much thickening. I have thin, straight chin-length hair. Although it's thin, I have a lot of it.
Self Tanners -Banana Boat - Summer Color Self-Tanning Mist

The "citrus" scent smelled like bug spray. It didn't go on so evenly, and generally turned me orange. Also it was very easy to use up most of the can, so not worth the price.
I really wish this worked for me. I have oily skin, large pores around my nose, redness, and some acne. I tried the 3-step system and it helped reduce some redness. But overall it dried my skin out and made it peel. Also, after I would use the cleanser, my skin would be extremely red. It eliminated some acne, but then new blemishes appeared. Now that I've stopped using it, I've gotten a few large, painful blemishes. Overall, this was too harsh for my skin.

Great product. It doesn't give crazy amounts of volume, but it gives some lift to my flat hair. Very cheap too.
Self Tanners -Victoria's Secret - Bare Bronze Gleaming Self-Tan Body Tint

On the fence about this one. Packaging: Gorgeous. Got a little red bottle with a gold cap. Really cute. Price, not so bad, $18 US. A little hard to blend at first. Not as much shimmer as promised. Which is good, don't want to look like Disco barbie. First time I put on a layer before bad, had a light tan next day. Second time I put two layers (it says add more until bronze level is achieved), and the next day the tan looked significantly darker. Got complements- friends said it looked natural. It looked a little orange in some lighting. Didn't streak at all. Not so long lasting, fades a lot in a day without usage. Smells nice, kind of like coconut. I'll update. 7/5/08 i really wanted to like this more.. i had so much luck with it the first time. it collected oddly on my skin where i have stretch marks and rubs off easily.
Pretty great mascara. Good as a lengthening mascara. Doesn't smudge or flake. I might buy it again, but I'd like to try new stuff.
Powder -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation

I used Bare Minerals for quite a while, and I find this a perfect drugstore counterpart. It has equal coverage and is cheaper. And so far, I'm in love. I bought the Light Ivory, which was a mistake.. Too orange. So for pale to light people, get the lightest shade, which is Soft Ivory. It matched my skin wonderfully and provided great coverage. It's not too matte, either. Now I just have to see how the lasting power is, and I'll update. So far so good. It's a tat pricey, but cheaper than Bare Minerals, so I will not complain. 7/2/08 *update* so the lasting power.. ok. i took off a lippie for it. comes off a little and a bit of my acne shows through :-( I still really like this, I'm just looking for a primer or something to make this last longer.. if anyones got suggestions, send 'em my way! also it collects in the corners of my nose and gets a little streaky. also packaging is very annoying because i either take out too much powder and get it everywhere, or not enough...
I haven't tried many bronzers, but I think I've found a favorite. It's got a little bit of shimmer, but not overpowering. It spreads easily, though it takes a little time to dry. But I haven't had an incident where it's gotten on my clothes. Over a few days I had a light honey tan. I didn't turn orange, no streaks, nothing. I'd definitely give it a try. I tried it in fair tones, and I quickly got as dark as it would allow. So now I'm trying the Sublime Bronze. I'll review that when I see how it goes :-) *update* 7/2/08 not so great.. the color barely shows up on me. i only like it for the smell. i guess for extremely pale people this would be great. but like EXTREMELY pale. like redheads.
I don't understand why this got so many great reviews. I ended up burning through the secret camouflage, becuase one layer barely makes a difference. To make a difference I had to cake it on, so I ended up looking like I had a mask. Plus I had gone to the Laura Mercier counter to get matched, and the color I got was way too pale. The only thing good about this was the packaging and secret concealor which i used for undereye circles.
Styling Products -L'Oreal - Studioline Hot Straight

I love this stuff! It makes my hair soft, shiny, and smooth. I blow dry and use a round boar bristle brush to make it smoother. Its straight enough so that I only have to straighten the ends when I use my straightener afterward.
Would be my HG if it wasn't for the scent. Smells heavenly of a sweet lemon pie, but I just happen not to like lemons. I recieved this in a sample, and after using my skin was glowy and moisturized. Not with most moisturizers where I have to apply a 2nd layer or more, I only applied one layer for it to completely moisturize. The cream isn't too thick nor too thin. The only con is the price, which is insane. For now I'll use the Sephora Whipped Body Delights (smells way better).
Cleansers -Biore - Pore Perfect Cleansing Cloths (from the new line)

HG. I recall being sick for about a week, and found myself wandering to the bathroom to use this at least three or four times a day. Within those three or so days of being sick, my face was almost completely cleared up. I LOVE these- They remove makeup as well. I have combination skin and breakout frequently, so I can't take the chance of not washing my face even once. I take off a lippy because it becomes pricey constantly be buying this clothes.
I must say, I loved the packaging. It came in this cute, simple compact with a mirror. But I took off a lippie because it stopped clicking shut after a bit, so I'd just flip it open like a flip cell. Anyway, I was using this for a while to cover up undereye circles. I don't know why now, because using just a little barely did anything, and using a lot made them chalky and yellowish. I had to wipe away the top layer with my fingers to make it look somewhat natural. I then would collect in creases by the end of the day, so I had to wipe it off with my fingers. Gross. Plus this is way too expensive for something so.. crap.
My most favorite rose perfume ever. Rose is my favorite scent, and this is just PURE, fresh, clean rose. Ok last power and not very strong.. almost too subtle. I love to spritz this in my hair. :D Just taking off a lippie for the price and lasting power.
Out of all plumpers I've tried, this one has worked the best. So generally, in comparison, its a 4, though it didn't deliver extraordinary results. Only certain times did it plump my lips (they did swell up), and it had a nice shine. It just hurts like HECK! It stings and burns a lot, but you build an immunity to it. It smells strongly of cinnamon and spicyness- Mmm. Best plumper I've tried, so worth a try for all.
