Liquid -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup SPF 20

I'm really disappointed in this product :(. I used Neutrogena Even Skin Tone foundation for a while before it was discontinued, which was the only drugstore foundation I ever loved. I switched it up for a while, but decided to find a similar foundation for a good price. I figured this Healthy Skin foundation would be comparable to the Even Skin Tone I used to use. First of all, they discontinued my shade (which was softest gold). I went for nude instead. The first time I applied it, I had been outside, so my face was looking nice and tan. After a while of not being out in the sun, It is a horrible shade match. It's very orangey, as it oxidizes quickly on my skin. The consistency is runny and the product smells. It didn't even cover up well, or make my skin tone look even. In addition to that, I felt like I was constantly applying powder throughout the day. I don't even have oily skin! All in all, a pretty big disappointment. I tolerated it until I found a new foundation for my skin.
I bought this in sunset strip when it was still warm outside & I had a tan, although I considered buying the other bronzer (I can't remember what it's called). I have fair/medium skin, but I tan pretty dark. Now that it's December, I was afraid to use it, but this bronzer still manages to look very natural on my skin. I just think the last strip is a little too dark for me, so I avoid that one. It really fakes a nice bronze look, I love it.
Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types

At first, I really loved this stuff. It worked well for a short amount of time, and then it didn't really respond to my skin well after a while. I just think there are better moisturizers out there. Also, it smells terrible.
Cleansers -Philosophy - the microdelivery exfoliating wash

This is the best exfoliating face product I've used so far. I kind of bought it on a whim, and before trying it, I considered taking it back because I didn't think it was something I really needed... but it was definitely a good impulse purchase. I use it twice a week and it really is a good addition to my skincare routine. I find that my skin is more balanced during the day and I have smoother skin and less frequent breakouts. Not only that, but this stuff really lasts a while, so it's definitely worth the price!
Finally. I am so happy to finally find a foundation I'm 100% satisfied with. I really like the consistency of this foundation and the color match is perfect! The buildable coverage while still feeling light and leaving my skin looking luminous is what sold me. It does a really great job of hiding redness, hyperpigmentation, and minimizing the appearance of pores.I don't think my face has ever come close to looking this flawless. It doesn't have SPF... but I use moisturizer with SPF in it underneath my foundation. The smell is kind of gross when you first apply it, but it fades away within minutes (so it's not like you're smelling the foundation on your face all day). I also wish the bottle had a pump, but it's not that big of a loss because the consistency kind of allows you to pour it in the right quantity. So there are a few minor downsides, but It won't stop me from buying again!
i found out about this foundation when i asked my friend (who has gorgeous, glowing skin) what kind of foundation she used. she highly suggested this product. if you want radiant skin, it does just that. it also holds blush, bronzer, and powder very well. when it comes to stila foundation, i'm definitely impressed with the shade matches. i honestly couldn't decide between 30 or 40 watts at first, but settled on 40. as for the cons, it can be a little bit too hydrating if you have oily skin. it also doesn't cover as well as i would like it to... but if you have little blemishes, it holds concealer well for a nice finish.
Scrubs -100 Percent Pure - Vanilla Bean Buttercream Scrub

i am so happy with this scrub! i have a mild case of keratosis pilaris (rough bumpy skin in certain areas) and this gets rid of it completely. i've been using it once a week so far, and my skin feels so smooth and supple. i will definitely be buying this again.
i can't tell you how long i used this for, thinking it did something good for my skin. the apricot scrub smells good, and after using it i felt very clean and refreshed. however, it would make my skin too dry at first, and then progressively oily. i was later informed that the beads are rough and jagged, which are too abrasive for the skin and enlarge pores. i started using philosophy's microdelivery exfoliating wash (even though its more expensive) but oh my gosh could i feel the difference. the beads are round, less abrasive... and i could just feel a HUGE difference in what an exfoliating product should be.
Fragrances -Stella McCartney - Stella- Eau de Parfum

i'm a little picky when it comes to perfume. for me, once i smelled this (without realizing what it was) and tried searching for it without even knowing the name. i found it and am really glad i did! stella does fade a bit throughout the day, but if you spritz on a little extra, it doesn't have an offensive smell at all. i really think this scent is appropriate for day or night time.
i decided to try this mascara when the product i usually use was out. i used it once and brought it right back to the store. not worth the price at all. my lashes fell completely flat.
i honestly don't understand why the reviews for this mascara are so bad. i've been buying this product for 3+ years, and i've never witnessed any flaking whatsoever. i have to say, my sister did say it has flaked for her when she bought a tube once. this is one of the only mascaras (and believe me, i've tried a ton) that will hold my curl without being clumpy.
Eye Makeup Remover -Victoria's Secret - Take It All Off Eye Makeup Remover

there's nothing special about this makeup remover. i picked it up on a whim because it was reduced to 75% off during their semi-annual sale. i don't wear waterproof mascara and felt like i was almost better off using water to remove my makeup.
i will buy this over and over again, i don't even care. this was the first liquid eyeliner i ever tried and i still love it. i thought i was missing out on better quality for a while and tried other eyeliners, much more expensive than this one and i can't get over the fact that i like an eyeliner that costs $1.99 over one much more expensive. i don't find it difficult at all to apply it in a straight line. during the week i go to school from 8-5 and work nights. i'll come home and this is the only aspect of my makeup that looks almost as good as when i applied it earlier in the day.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

i bought the smaller size at sephora and it lasted me a long time. i don't recommend this for every day use, but when my skin was feeling extra dry this worked great. i felt like it did sink in and moisturize my skin without making it feel greasy.
i am impressed with this blush. it really enhances my skin tone and brightens up my face. although it's kind of shimmery, i think it's still natural-looking. there are, however, other blushes out there that are comparable with a lower price.
