This nifty little tube seriously gives shine and moisture to my lips! There are so many colours to choose from and they keep adding new colours to the range. I used #03 Strawberry for close to a year ( until the printed words on the tube are half gone)then i finally threw out the remaining in the tube cos i could bear it no more. i must give some chance to #1,2,4,5,6,7 and 8. i got so nuts about this that i bought almost all the colours. its value for money IMO and last ages. Good combination of gloss and lip balm. Thumbs up!
This has got to be the most well-kept secret that the SA's are not telling us! This is really worth 5 lippies! Recently my lips are on the problematic side: ezcema bumps and flaking dead skin. The regular lip balms did nothing till i got this lightweight lotion at the SA's advice. It helped the lips retain moisture, even soften the smile lines on the cheeks... After about 2 weeks of nightly use, my lips are back to normal and lines on the lips are not as deep as before! also they looked more plump and rosier too! Only down side is the packaging lets the lotion leek out. So remember to store the tube the other way up.
Polishes -Clarins - Nail Colour- Creamy Beige #225

I think this is really a very versatile colour and looks great on me either fair or tanned. The brush is very easy to apply with and the best part it does not make my nails yellow nor dried. I had a stash of 4 bottles of this as sometimes it goes OOS for a very long time. Better than Chanel in lasting power but colour variety is limited.
oopppsss: did someone look at the amount of lip gloss this thing contains? The price per use is really quite expensive. Its almost $1 per time i whip this baby out. Does nothing for me, just SUPER thick gloss, super shiny, super sheer colour... and the packaging is really a joke. It just got really messy and unhygenic looking. Ladies, save your dollars for something better.
This little kit has lasted me for the better of the last three years... *yep 3 years* somehow you just cannot finish using it. It comes in 3 little pans of Black, Taupe brown and Nude vanilla. They can be used wet/dry and as shadows or eyebrow filler and highlighter. The nifty tweezer does a good job even for tiny little hairs and the powder textures are good and smooth. Considering all points, Value for money, easy to carry and BONUS: nice big mirror that lets you see well...
hate to be a wet blankie here: i was rather disappointed with this product. First the packaging was not friendly and you have to buy a pump for it. Second, it was just an ordinary Lime and Clove scented hair gel. Kept things in place but was a bit on the flaky side after a long day. i would rather just stick to normal gel/wax for keeping cowlicks in place... *sob*
i got this from a swap so no idea whats the price. Honestly it does whats it supposed to do- cleanse and invorigate. But beyond that, this is just an ordinary shampoo. IMHO: Thumbs up for the lovely refreshing scent and good lather. On the whole, nothing extraordinary...
I have been using this lotion for the past few nights and it really helps to cleanse away my foundation, powder and bronzer. I read on the reviews about the lotion not really cleaning well maybe use not enough lotion. I spread on the lotion (abt the size of 2 cheery tomatoes) and massage the lightweight lotion into the skin, rinse with water and *voila* there was no residue, no oily feel even for my combi-oily skin... i am totally sold....
Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Angel Oil for Face, Body and Hair

Numero Uno: for something so expensive, why is it packaged in a plastic bottle? It should come in glass to have a more upmarket image. Initially i was thinking it will be really oily but suprisingly it is not! Spray the oil out onto your pamls and rub into your skin, totally absorbed in and no stickly feeling. Just scented, smooth and comfy skin. The notes of Angel is soft and you can layer on the fragrance to make it last longer. Really too bad for the bottle.
One comment, 100ml bottle is really bulky and heavy. But the fragrance is a change from the light fresh scents that normally Clarins does. With notes of pepper, rose and musk, this is an enticing spicy, floral that makes you feel so sexy and femimine... Long lasting too. Sprayed on my pulse points and laste the whole evening.
Top/Base Coats -OPI - Start to Finish Base & Top Coat

This really helps to make your regular polish last longer. It is very easy to apply and the quick-drying formula helps to prevent smudges. Its not really a shiny topcoat but will still do. I don't know about the strengthening effect though but it really worked from start to finish.
I love the bright colour of this and so easy to apply. Literally *thumbs up*
I initailly saw the review for this as a waterproofing for your regular eyebrow pencils that do not last well. Turns out shiny on the eyebrow area (esp if you dun have much brows to speak off). The brush turns colour as it picked up my brow shadow and turned the gel inside a light brown colour. Its not too bad, considering it did work like its supposed to.
I am one girl with very sparse eye brows and anything i use; powders, cream, shadows; they all dun last and they just rub off on my oily skin. This is a complete wonder! Very light colour for natural look, very resistant to rubbing or sweat... OMG this is the HG of my eyebrow pencils!!! Very Budget price and was initially afraid being liquid it will dry up, but using it for almost 4 months and still drawing strong!
Misc Beauty Tools -Banana Boat - Dark Tanning Oil (SPF 4)
beauticonnexion 3/23/2006 2:06:00 AM
I am major into tanning at the moment. I slather on this oil with carrot and Vit. E extracts and it really helped to tan the skin to more than 2 shades than normal! I was really surprised and pleased. Economical and useful, better than some other C**pp*t**e oil i used. I gave it only 4 for packaging as oily hands can't grip the bottle well. Overall pleased and will purchase it again!
