Eye Shadow -Revlon - Beyond Natural Cream to Powder Eye Shadow

I hate this product. I wish I would have known about MU before getting this crap of a shadow. I cannot see how this will work for anyone. I have tried using bases, putting this over a powder and a base.. primer.. it doesnt matter.. I actually tried it a few minutes ago on my bare face to see one last time, and nope literally not a half hour later, its gone.. faded and creased like crazy. I think the colors i got are really pretty "plumberry/prune" and I so hoped they would work. I still see this product on displays at target and walmart.. are they kidding? revlon should pull this product, seriously.. it is a waste of money.
I actually found this color to be more pink than anything. This came in mini form in the sociallite collection I received for free a few weeks ago. I can use this over "glamour goddess" or alone and it looks really nice. Very bright but subtly pink on me if that makes sense. Very sheer but pigmented at the same time and perfect for just a flush of pink to go with a neutral eye or pink shadow for a nice put together daytime look.
Lip Gloss -Bare Escentuals - Buxom Lips Lip Gloss in Amber

I got this in a set with a few eyeshadows and a brush. I didnt really care if it plumped my lips or not to be honest since my lips are average/full. I liked the color and its good when you want a more nude color to go with a smokey eye look or something like that, but my lips are very pigmented naturally, so i have a hard time finding a "nude" type lipstick or gloss that doesnt make me look ridiculous. My "lines" on my lips show thru or I have to use a concealor underneath the gloss for it to show up, then it gets all cakey looking.. and unfortunately this is what happened with this boxum color. I can use it alone but the color payoff isnt worth the sticker price in my opinion. I will probably try it again in the future. One thing I did like is that the smell is amazing! Very vanilla/coffee/cake type of thing going on and I love smelling it. I might try another color some time.
Eye Shadow -NYX - eyeshadow trio 13 cherry/cool blue/hot pink

I really love this product. It was around 8 bucks at ulta, but you get 3 shadows, so under $3 a color isn't bad at all in my opinon. I have used hot pink a few times now and the cherry once and I know I am going to be using this alot more now since spring is here and summer is right around the corner. The colors are perfect as stand alone or blended to make a really nice pop to your eyes.. i used "ulta lip gloss in bliss" when using the pinks and it looks so great together. I have not tried the blue yet, but swatched it and it looks like it is going to be almost true to color, maybe a little more sheer than the pot suggests, but it looks really nice just the same. If someone is looking for bright fun colors to try, this is a nice little collection to get.
I got this in the triple eyeshadow palet alongside cherry and cool blue. I absolutely love it. Since it's finally spring and so nice and sunny outside, I wanted some "Easter" egg colors. I always think of pinks blues greens and yellows for spring makeup. I got this at ulta during the bogo and i really love this pink. Its not really a hot pink but more of a true pink. When I think of pink I always assume it will be brighter than the baby pinks most lines carry. This wore all day, even in the humidity we already have here in florida. Barely any creasing at the end of an entire day out. I love love love this color and would def. recommend any of you guys to try it if you are thinking about picking it up.
I got a free sample of this at Ulta a few weeks ago, the cashier told me I would really love this product and to use a small amount and that the sample size would last me about a week. What lies! lol.. I know the girl meant well, but really? I did not like this at all and didn't even bother to finish my small sample packet. I used a fairly decent amount of this lotion before my mineral makeup and it seemed too greasy but not moisturizing enough. My mineral foundation application seemed to take longer, like the lotion was making my face harder to take the color, I really don't know how to explain it other than I disliked the product altogether and wont be buying any of this or other BE facial lotions or washes in the future. Thats how disappointing this was.
I have the lilac color. I bought this a few months ago, last summer I believe, and tried it one day while heading out to run some errands. I decided since it was an all over stick that I would use it all over! It creased on my lids in no time, my cheeks felt sticky and Id much rather use a lipgloss or stick if i had to, though its way too frosty and settles into lip lines.. I have not used this since and should just throw it out. the smell is also a lemonade artificial mixture. I will never repurchase these all over sticks again.
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Infallible Never Fail Lipstick

I bought this when it first came out a while ago, maybe since then they have changed. With that said, I have (had) 2 of these lippies. I did not like them one bit, I tried them several times and even though the shades were really pretty, I found that even with the top gloss on, they dried my lips out and was left with blotchy uneven color a short time after applying. Im not a big fan of lipsticks that claim to be longlasting because they seem drying to me. I would save my $9 or so and try another product first before trying these.
I wouldnt buy this again because this package is going to last me forever. I have had this for a while and use it occassionally. I am very fair skinned so I have to use it sparingly or I look way too orangy. It is actually a pretty good product considering it was like $3 or something. just a little goes a long way and you have to really blend it in, but its worth the money spent.
The only reason I would not buy this again is because I am into the powder mineral foundations now. I was earing liquid for years and tried this one. It's more "runny" or "watery" than alot of foundations. I liked it because it wasn't as thick as say loreal infalliable or true match. It covered very well and felt pretty light on my skin. I did find that I still had that kind of shine liquid foundations will give you after wearing it all day and I often dont use touch ups of powder, but maybe a little resetting would have done a bit to control shine. But, this is a good product and it's not very expensive and I would recommend it to someone wanting to try a less "heavy" fuller coverage liquid foundation.
Lip Liners -NYX - Jumbo Lip Pencil - Soft Fuschia 721

I really liked this lip pencil. I cannot remember ever having a lipstick pencil before and thought I would give it a try. It was when ulta had there bogo on certain brands, nyx being one of them, so i tried this and an eye shadow trio. I am very impressed with both purchases. This pencil was around $4 i think, so even if it wasnt free, i would have paid that for it. Its not really fuschia at all, even "soft" fuschia. It is def. dark dusty rose and as it wears on during the day, it does fade, but its actually really pretty and i dont mind at all. I would def. try other colors like this and for the price, its not really a big deal if its not true to written color.
I tried this when it first came out, and was very disappointed with it and even returned it. I am very fair skinned and alot of "light" or "fair" colors are still too dark for me.. way too pink or too yellow or just not "fair" at all. This was the case, it was at least 2 shades darker than my skin tone and the consistency wasnt what i expected nor did it really do anything but add too much "color" to my face. I would not buy this product if you are fair like me or want a fuller or medium coverage foundation.
Makeup Brushes -Everyday Minerals - New Flat Top Brush
adhesivelove 3/17/2009 6:05:00 PM
I bought this because of the amazing reviews. It is wonderfully soft and works very well with powder/mineral foundations and blushes. Another brush I love that is comparable to this one is from target.. sonya kushaks flat top brush is what i had used before and the one I now keep in my makeup bag since I got this one from EM. The target one is around $12, but you dont have to pay shipping. lol so, it will run about the same as the EM ones. The one thing I liked better about the SK brush is that it is still as soft but smaller, which fits in those tiny "free sample" mineral containers alot better. But, I am glad I bought the EM brush though, and it is now a def. keeper in my makeup collection. I wanted to add that I wash this brush everytime I use it, so at least 3-4 times a week and not one bristle has fallen out over the 4 months or so that I have had it. This was really a good deal on a brush that will probably last me a very long time
I had heard alot of good things on youtube about this particular foundation, but this just did not work for me. I have oily/combo skin. I use a lotion and sometimes a primer before applying my makeup, but for some reason, this just did not go on very smoothly. Seemed to really settle into my pores and it took alot to actually cover my entire face, but felt very heavy. I did not like this at all, and will not be getting it again.
I tried this mascara because of the natural ingredients, like olive oil. I really liked it. Actually, I couldnt believe it worked as well as it did. It is around, what, $7 or so at walmart/target.. so not too much $$ I would buy this again. I like this, lashblast, and bare naturale from loreal.. they are all around the same price, so if you have tried the other 2, this is def. comparable in my opinion.
