I had no intentions of buying this color at all as it seemed to look a bit coral for me but I was really impressed with Blushing Blossom so I decided to pick this up. Wow! What a pretty blush this is! It reminds me a bit of NARS Orgasm except lighter but in the same color family. I don't even apply this with a brush. I just take the container and dab it on my cheek (like those Tarte cheek stains), the application looks really natural when I apply it like this! Because of this, I've gotten interested in more coral/orange blushes. And the price is AWESOME. I got this for a dollar and change at my local Rite-Aid.
I bought this product on a whim after hearing my cousin rave about it. I bought the large bottle. Though it was pricey, I'd have to say I'll repurchase again (though I kind of want to try EL Advanced Night Repair..) The texture and feel of my skin has changed dramatically for the better! My skin literally feels like velvet to the point that I love touching it. It hasn't erased my brown spots or anything (I've been using it for 6 weeks and have just noticed they've gotten a bit lighter) but my skin definitely glows when I use this. I'd recommend getting a gwp or a gift set if you want to try this out because it is quite pricey. But I do enjoy this product very much! My skin looks and feels wonderful! It hasn't been this way in years EDIT // I changed my rating from 4 to 5 lippies because I after I stopped using it, I noticed the difference in my face, and it wasn't good! I bought it right away, and my skin is back to normal; as smooth and lovely as it was before.
I never thought I'd like this blush! When I first got it, I grimaced and swiped it once on my face and didn't like it. I put it away after that. Then shortly after, I took it out again and saw how pretty it shimmered in the sunlight. I decided to try it on again. This time, after light application, I came to love this blush! For me, it is the perfect night time blush! It is a lot darker and pigmented than most of my blushes which are mostly peaches and pinks. On my skin, it gives a slight deep reddish, almost wine colored glow with some shimmer. Paired with smokey eyes and nude lips, it looks amazing! I wish I didn't give up on it so soon when I first got it!
I love Rock & Republic blushes. They are beautiful beautiful products! Frankly, I never expected to like Kinky because the color in the pan was quite intimidating. But yet when applied with a light hand, and I mean LIGHT, and buffed out, this shade gives you a pretty dolly look. It doesn't look fake or overdone on my NC30 skin. Its almost like the flush you get when you've just finished exercising and you're cooling down. And everyone knows how HUGE these blushes are. There's so much product! I think the lifespan o blushes is generally 2-3 years? If I handle this blush well, I'm pretty sure it'll last me much longer than that.
Honestly, I picked this up because the name was such a tease. Who doesn't want a blush that will give them the "perfect cheek?". Once again, this is an easy to use, everyday neutral blush. My only gripe with this product and some others like it is that the Mac blush pot is so tiny! I wish the compacts were as big as the beauty powders. This is very similar to Blushbaby, but a tad lighter and pinker when compared side by side.
Blush -MAC - Beauty Powder in Flower Mist Dew (Emanuel Ungaro)

I picked this up at my local CCO. I had been on the hunt for some pretty pink blushes. But this blush shade caught my eye. It was a soft, slightly muted almost lavender blush with a hint of pinkness to it. In the pan, I don't see any noticable shimmer, but when applied in the light there is a hint of it. I am an NC30 so I need at least two swipes to see the color on my cheeks, but nonetheless it looks quite pretty on and is very hard to mess up. I'd recommend this to anyone who is just starting to use blush and would like something that can be used everyday with no fuss. I never thought I'd like this kind of color, but now I'm attracted to shades that look similar to it. If you can find it, I suggest you pick it up! Unless you are very tan, then you might have to really be generous with the application. EDIT// I can't express enough how much I love this blush. HG pinky blush for me that doesn't turn reddish or ashy. Simply light pink and lovely. Never overdone =]
I bought this on a whim because I saw many reviews on how gorgeous this color was on everyone. So I caved. I'm so glad I did! It came in a little glass pot with a screw top. I pretty much loathe having to stick my fingers into this pot to get the color but it looks so good on that I don't mind as much. It gives my lips a fleshy, natural color which lasts all the day, hence the stickiness. Its good enough to wear everyday. My only problems with this product besides the packaging is the smell and taste.
Lipstick -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte Lipstick - #1 Nude Beige

This may be the best lipstick I have ever tried. I was looking for a new spring color when I decided to pick this up. I am an NC30. This color gives me those milky looking baby lips. The texture is marvelous, so smooth and silky. It feels creamy and soft on the lips. The packaging is gorgeous. It's also quite a heavy lipstick! Probably because of the packaging. One swipe and I'm good to go because it is very pigmented. I am looking forward to purchasing more nude pinks! I am glad this was my first!
Chanel definitely has a way with colors. I can't say much about this quint. It is quite beautiful by itself. But the combination of colors for eye makeup is gorgeous too. The texture and feel of the shadows is what I'd describe to be a cream to powder finish. It's not a cream shadow, but the feel of the shadows is so silky that you'll think it is. The packaging, of course it's gorgeous. Price? Chanel wouldn't be if it weren't expensive. This isn't meant to be an everyday product. I'm thinking of possibly picking up a back up of this.
I wasn't expecting much from this polish. I expected the standard prismatic white nail. But no. I was quite surprised from what I saw on my nails after I passed by a mirror. The polish looks white on your hands, but not stark white. It glows a soft white with gold sheen to it. It is really lovely. I think this will definitely work fine as my daily office color =]
Lip Gloss -Lioele - Blooming Gloss - Shining Purple #09

There's something quite addictive about Asian glosses. This gloss has the most wonderful scent and light flavor to it. Though its called "Shining Purple" it won't leave your lips looking bright purple, just shiny. It is a glitter gloss but does not feel gritty at all. It gives you a sheer wash of color and feels smooth and comfortable on the lips. I put this on so frequently, I may have to purchase another one soon!
Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero
xxhna 2/16/2011 12:09:00 AM
I had high hopes for this pencil. Having the 24-7 in its name, I thought it would be long lasting. Wrong, so wrong. About an hour after wearing this liner, I already noticed how the pigmentation had faded. it looked as if I smoked out my eye. This is a good pencil to smudge, but skip on this if you're looking for something with staying power. The only reasons why I didn't give it a one is because the pencil glides so smoothly when lining. EDIT// I don't know if time made this pencil better or something, but this no longer budges when I line my waterline! LOVE IT!
I was looking for a nice peachy pink to help brighten up my face this coming spring. When I visited my local Chanel counter, I saw the new lippies for the Spring 2011 collection. At first, Jersey Rose caught my eye simply because of the name. Kind of like an ode to my old home state? ;) Up close the lip is gorgeous and a beautiful pink. It is definitely a nice break from the nudes and reds I've been wearing this past season. One swipe is kind of sheer, so I go for two. Mind you, I have pretty pigmented lips and this just really looks pretty on them! So far I've worn it with and without gloss. I prefer the latter. The color stays on my lips for a few hours if I don't eat anything. It doesn't accentuate any lip lines or make my lips peel. And it's Chanel. I'm definitely looking forward to buying more shades! Maybe Ruban Rose? Or Rose Dentelle?
Lip Gloss -Milani - 3D Glitzy Glamour Gloss - Designer Label
xxhna 2/14/2011 2:07:00 PM
I picked this up on a whim when CVS was having one of their BOGO sales. I picked this up because it looked like a really pretty shade. And the packaging sold me too. As with most glosses like this, I kind of excepted for it to look sheer. First putting this on, I was so surprised at the amount of glitter showing up on my lips! The color wash was sheer and natural. If you're looking for a gloss with an opaque glittery finish, this color is not for you. Try one of the more pigmented colors. What I like most about this gloss is how I can't feel the glitter when I rub my lips, even when I see it there! I'm also a fan of glosses with fruity scents. And this has it too. From the tube, it has a light but synthetic fruit smell that dissipates when applied. Will I buy again? Yes! =]
Eyeliner -Physicians Formula - Eye booster eyeliner + serum

I was browsing through CVS when the free rebate for this caught my eye. I couldn't resist the offer, so I bought it. Needless to say, I love this liner. I am very impressed with the staying power and thin point of the line you can draw on your eye. This liner does not budge! It produces a solid black line. Definitely great for lining your eyes and if you want to get creative, the brush point is thin enough that you can!
