Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Institut Esthederm Intensive Hyaluronic Serum

This is the best serum with hyaluronic acid I've tried. It has a milky texture, and really brings a moisture boost to dry skin. It is expensive, and I must say that I don't like the packaging -- it comes in a narrow glass bottle with a long medicine-dropper applicator, but the dropper doesn't pick up any product, since most of the serum is at the bottom of the bottle, so it's useless. But it's good stuff for dry, dehydrated skin.

I've been a fan of water in a can for years. I usually buy LaRoche Posay's version, but I bought this and love it every bit as much, if not more. LRP's is just water, while Esthederm's is water plus a lot of minerals, so I think it's better for me. It is very hydrating in the winter -- my main purpose of using it. I use it instead of toner since my skin is dry and sensitive. It is very refreshing in the summer. I spray it on my face before I moisturize, and then any time I need a little extra moisture -- especially in winter. When I wake up with dry skin in the morning, I spritz this water on my face and massage it in, and I look much more presentable. I've used it on top of makeup and it doesn't mess it up at all. Love the stuff!

I'm disappointed in this brand. I have very dry, sensitive skin and thought this might be an excellent product since it's expensive and the advertising makes it sound like a breakthrough formula. But it was simply ok. Not really moisturizing enough for my dry skin, so after using a whole container I gave up on it.

This was just OK. It helped a little, but not enough for me to want to buy it again. I got much better results with Institut Esthederm's Intensive Hyaluronic Serum.
I went through three containers of this product and then gave up. For the price, it's OK, but it didn't do anything for me other than prevent dryness. There are lots of creams less expensive that give the same results.

My skin has been very dehydrated, and an aesthetician at a spa recommended this product. I figured I was wasting more money, as nothing I've tried seems to work for more than an hour. However, I was very surprised, as it actually did bring lasting hydration to my skin. I noticed a difference on the first day. I have also tried the Hyaluronic Serum as well as other Institut Esthederm products. They are expensive, but I find that they really work. If you have very dry skin or problem skin, it might be worth it to spend the money.
I have the pressed version in rose. It's beautiful and gives a very natural rosy glow. Not too shiny and not matte. Just right!

I received this in a gift. It is the pressed version -- not loose. Although the color is too dark for my skin, it makes a wonderful eye shadow. Just the right color but with no weight -- so light and natural looking. I love it!
Powder -Merle Norman - Luxiva Purely Mineral Makeup

This is for the pressed version (not loose) of Merle Norman's purely mineral makeup. I used Bare Minerals for years but switched to a tinted sunscreen that I make by mixing sunscreen w/ Luxiva cream foundation. I received Merle Norman's version in a gift, and it is really nice. I like it better than Bare Minerals -- the finish is a soft glow -- not shiny and not matte, neither of which work for me. Since my skin is very dry, I will probably mostly stick w/ my tinted sunscreen, but I'll use this for concealer and for days when I want to polish up super quick. It leaves a nice, natural but polished look and is completely weightless.
Fun store. I bought several bath bombs in different scents, but every one of them made my skin itch like crazy.
I probably wouldn't have bought this if I didn't receive a free sample, but I love it and will buy it again. One coat goes on nice and easy to condition and prime lashes, then one coat of MN's fabulous Supreme Lash mascara, and WOW! Long, thick lashes that do not smudge, flake, or clump. I think it's the best thing out there.

This is fabulous mascara! I've been a Dior Backstage fanatic for years, and I go way out of my way to buy it. But no more -- I'll go down the street to my Merle Norman store because this gives me just as much length, thickness, and drama and without clumps, flakes, or smearing. I received a sample of Lash Prep to put under it, and the combination is fantastic.
This is not moist enough for all day use for me, but I keep it for those mornings when I wake up with puffy eyes. We have high pollen count right now, and every morning I wake up looking like someone from outer space. This gel de-puffs lickety split, so it's worth having around.
I'm trying this just to compare to the emulsion formula. Because I have fine hair, I was afraid an oil would weigh my hair down, but this is a very nice product. I've used this 3 times so far -- about a dime-sized blob that I run through wet hair -- and my hair styles very nicely with no oily look, and no fly-aways. I like the emulsion too, but when it runs out I'll definitely consider replacing with the oil. Both are very good products.
This review is for the new Perfect Pro Long Last -- not the Creme. This is a good lipstick. I'm not sure how I feel about having to buy a lipstick color and then a separate case, but I suppose if I bought other colors I could just change them out of the same case and eventually save money. (Each color comes with a cap to protect it while it's not in a case.) The case is nice and works well, by the way. I bought the Vivid Berry color and it's very pretty -- no nasty fake purple tones. The lipstick is not waxy or thick and creamy. It's has a thinner consistency than most lipsticks I've tried, but it's very moist. I prepped my lips like I do for all my lipsticks -- Merle Norman's lip revive, then Burt's Bees or Alba Botanica lip balm, and then the lipstick (sometimes w/ liner too). I'm impressed that this lipstick really does last a long time. I can eat and drink and it will stay on. Even when my Burt's Bees finally evaporates, I still have color on my lips. It seems to create a light stain on the lips but I never get that dry look or feeling that you can get w/ some long-lasting lipsticks. I say go for it!
