This is a lovely moisturizer. It is gel-like and it for drier skins. y skin is moist and I use it at night. I still like Kiehls' Ultra for my daytime moisturizer. I love the fragrance but can see how some users can be put off by the scent. I still want to try La Mer but this is a nice, silky moisturizer to use in the interim. Unless La Mar is my panacea, I will buy this again.
Lotions/ Creams -BeneFit Cosmetics - Bathina Body So Fine

Cute little tin, cute little puff and a nicely scented balm. It is sort of like wax but you smooth it on with the little puff and it leaves a scent and slight shimmer to my skin. I can't really see it all that well but I have rather pale skin. The scent is like roses. I think I prefer scrented body cream rather than scented body balm. Overall, cute product but nothing I can't live without.
This has been my lemming for several months. I use it as a blush and it is very sheer pink on my PPP/FFF skin. I could not use it as an all-over face powder without looking like I had a fever. It is easy to blend, very sheer and the shimmer hardly shows up on my cheeks. I can see a slight shimmer in the box though. Very nice product, overall but I was surprised at how little you get for $26. Nars blush comes in a great, black rubber compact with a mirror. Dandelion comes in a paper box, no mirror. However, a small brush is included in Dandelion and no brush comes with Nars.
Lip Treatments -BeneFit Cosmetics - Smoooch [DISCONTINUED]

BLEH!!! Even though I am an admitted lip balm snob, I would not even give this stuff to my dog for his chapped lips. I got it as a sample with my latest Benefit online purchase. It is white, sticky, gloppy, and does absolutley NOTHING for my lips. It tastes awful and I would rather smear Elmer's white glue on my lips before bedtime than put this stuff on again. I will stick to Burt's Bees, Smith's Rosebud, Smith's Strawberry Balm, Kiehl's #1, Chapstick, Carmex, Blistex, Jing Jang, or anything else other than Smoooch.
Covered my dark undereye circles but I found that it settled into the fine lines. Nice color selection and matched perfectly. But I notice the little lines I wanted to cover. Like the wand applicator and the creaminess of this product.
I liked the color, a clear, soft red. But the gloss was thick and gloppy. I didn't like the stickiness and the gloss would get clumped up in the brush. I never could establish the adequate number of clicks to coat the brush. Sometimes 2 clicks produced way too much gloss, other times, 4 clicks hardly produced enough gloss to cover my bottom lip. I like a more user-friendly gloss. Stila does a great job with their eyeshadows but not their lipglazes.
I was disappointed in this. The gloss was heavy and sticky on my lips. I did not like the sweetish, plastic watermelon smell. The clear pink color is nice. Sometimes 2 clicks woul produce copious amounts of the sticky gloss. Other times, 4 clicks would barely produce enough gloss to cover my bottom lip. At $24, these were far too expensive for the amount of gloss I received.
This is a chubby lip stick. It is a red/berry color. I like the creamy, soft texture but was surprised that it was a pencil rather than a tube. I paid more than $3 for this but I still think it is a nice lipstick. I keep it at home so I can sharpen it. I don't want to carry it in my purse as well as a sharpener.
I bought this a long time ago but I forgot about it and it got lost in my purse and cavernous makeup tackle box. I unearthed this week and will remember to keep better tabs on it. What a nice lipgloss!! The color is a tad darker than my lips and there is a very small amount of shimmer to it. IIt is not a high shine gloss but rather a "sheen". It is probably best described as a clear berry. The texture is great but you have to reapply frequently. It is less than $2, so who cares? Great quality, great color, great find!
Eye Shadow -Sephora - Fard Paillete / Glitter Powder Compact

I have this in No. 119, a glittery purple. While the texture is not as smooth as MAC or Stila, I am pleased with this shadow. It can go on dry and be sheer. It can also be bright when applied heavily. It can also be used wet as a liner or for more intense color. None of the glitter particles flake or fall off onto my cheeks. The purple color is fun and I have even worn it to work on a casual Friday.
Eye Shadow -Bobbi Brown - Matte Eye Shadow in Mint

I am a huge fan of BB shadows. This one continues her outstanding quality for application, blending and wearability. I had a consultation with a SA at the BB counter and she picked out this color for my dark brown eyes. It is a very light, matte green. It doesn't look very green on my eyelids. I use it as a lid color with Taupe in the crease and Bone as a highlight. It is almost sheer in appearance. No one ever compliments me on my lovely green eyeshadow but rather on my pretty eyes when I am wearing it.
This is not really taupe but rather a matte brown with yellow undertones. The SA at the BB counter did my eyes and picked it out for me. It is a great crease color but nothing amazing. It, as well as all BB shadows, are easy to apply and blend. I have cool undertones and don't think I will buy this color again. But I will always be a huge BB shadow fan.
I have dark lashes and this didn't seem to define them. It didn't clump but it did tend to dry out quickly. It is a great, quick, daytime mascara for a natural look but when I want more "oomph" I prefer Lancome mascara. I don't think I've ever purchased NGM. I have always used the GWP.
Cleansers -Lancome - Gel Clarté Foaming Cleansing Gel
kkdallas 4/11/2003 4:45:00 PM
This is a thin, clear gel cleanser. I think it may be a bit too drying for my normal/slightly dry skin. However, I tend to be oilier in the summer and I will use it at that time. The fragrance is not overwhelming and it does not sting my eyes. It comes in a tube and this packaging does not work well for this product. It runs out and collects in the cap. I will keep this in the shower for summer time morning cleansing.
I love this shadow. It is a shimmery champagne/neutral. I use it as a base/highlighter with something darker in the crease and it blends beautifully. The shimmer is nice. I also like to use it alone and simply line my dark brown eyes. It is quick and my eyes look professional. Great product!
