Lip Gloss -Bloom - Lip gloss in Pout

Totally agree with parangbird - this is very similar to Sweet Pea but perhaps with a more pinky peachy undertone. Definitely a YLBB gloss. This is good value for the amount you get compared to other high end brands. Highly recommended!

Another great product from Bloom - this is a pinky brown lipstick with a hint of plum that is easy to apply and non-drying. I would definitely repurchase.

Lip Treatments -Laura Mercier - lip silk
jochan2 8/4/2003 5:18:00 AM
I have always had problems with dry lips especially after putting lipstick on. At a recent LM makeover, the MUA applied this lip treatment before applying lipstick. The effect was absolutely gorgeous! My lips definitely looked and felt soft and smooth even after the lipstick have come off. Once again, as with most LM products, the price is pretty hefty!

Lip Gloss -Bloom - Sweet Pea

This is my first bloom l/g and I absolutely love it! It is a sheer light mauvey-pink YLBB l/g. Great for day wear over my Sweet Pea l/s. You get more for your $$$ (in Oz anyway) compared to other glosses. This is a great buy and would definitely repurchase.

Lip Liners -Bloom - Lip Definer in Perfect Pout
jochan2 7/22/2003 11:52:00 AM
Perfect pout is a versatile nude pink lipliner that goes well with most either lipstick or lipgloss. It comes in an attractive packaging and is reasonably priced. I have taken one lipstick off as it tends to tug the lips slightly. For this, I don't think I will repurchase.

Lip Gloss -Laura Mercier - Lip Glace
jochan2 7/19/2003 6:05:00 AM
I just bought this in Blush which is definetely my YLBB l/g - sheer non-shimmery pinky brown gloss. It glides on easily and does not feel sticky at all. Best of all it is moisturising and leaves my lips feeling baby soft. I wonder why I have never tried l/g before. Now I am hooked!

Makeup Brushes -Bloom - Aluminium Lip Brush

This silver-encased easy-to-carry lip brush is definitely value for money. The bristles are soft on the lips but firm enough for colour application. Highly recommended!

Powder -Laura Mercier - Foundation Powder
jochan2 7/18/2003 3:41:00 AM
As with most others, I bought this by mistake whilst looking for a pressed powder and later on realising it is a foundation. I have used it both wet and dry. I think it looks better used wet as using it dry can make it look slightly cakey esp if you have dry skin. When used wet, it just gives a wonderful sheer and finished/flawless look without the heavy feeling on your face. It provides excellent coverage although I still get oily around the T-zone. For a person who hates using powder, I can certainly recommend this product and will definitely repurchase!

Concealers -Laura Mercier - Secret Concealer
jochan2 7/18/2003 3:29:00 AM
I recently had a make-over at LM and had tried their secret camouflage (SC-3)with the oil free foundation in sunny beige. I was completely amazed at the coverage it had and how natural it. I definitely had a flawless-looking face at the end of it. Down sides are the cost (AU$62) and depending on the area that you may have to apply it onto, it may take some time.

Eye Shadow -Laura Mercier - Eye Colour in Topaz
jochan2 7/18/2003 3:17:00 AM
This has become my HG e/s with Rose (shimmery pinky gold) over the lids. With Topaz (browney-taupe with slight shimmer) over the crease, the result is very natural looking and absolutely opens up my eyes. Highly recommended!

Eyeliner -Laura Mercier - Tightline Cake Eye Liner in Mahogany Brown
jochan2 7/8/2003 9:51:00 AM
For a novice in cake liners I had some initial difficulties applying this product but practice makes perfect! I only add a small amount of water using a LM eyeliner brush as adding too much water makes the lines too light. It gives a very natural-looking eye definition and lasts forever even on someone with oily lids. I agree this product is expensive but this will last for a very long time. A MUST-HAVE!

Lipstick -Christian Dior - Sheer Lipsticks

Wonderfully sheer and creamy lipstick. Coverage is not fantastic but I would repurchase Sheer Pansy regardless for its colour.

Lipstick -Bloom - Lipstick in Cutie Pie
jochan2 7/8/2003 9:31:00 AM
This is my first Bloom product which I bought after reading good reviews from this site. I am not disappointed that I did as I found this to be a beautiful moisturising pale pink-mauve lipstick. This would suit most skin colouring including those with yellowish undertones like mine. I was pleasantly surprised about its staying power.
