Blush -Maybelline - Express Creme Blush Stick

I bought this in Pinky Shimmer (to be fair, I didn't buy it, but it came with another product I purchased) and really do not care for it. It is a nice color but does not show up on my cheeks very well, and is quite oily. Doesn't last, and is hard to blend.

Mascara -Longcils Boncza - Cake Mascara in Black

I would only reccommend this if you have very thin/short lashes, as it is very buildable without getting clumpy. Otherwise, wand mascara will give a better result with much less effort.

Fragrances -Calvin Klein - Contradiction

I love the packaging. The fragrance inside unfortunately doesn't live up to it. I had smelled this when it launched in 1998 and remembered really liking it. I bought a mini a few months ago and it smells nothing like how I remember...This smells...odd. I think it's the tonka note that I really can't get used to. I use it once in awhile but not one of my favorites.

Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Lip Lites

Have repurchased this 3x and will continue to do so indefinitely. A hint of pinky-brown color, minimal shimmer, and lovely taste.

Treatments -Christian Dior - Model Lift

I received a large sample of this from Sephora and used it up, for perhaps 2 weeks, and would not buy this. It's just a very ordinary creme. Not overly greasy, but it lacks the intense moisturising I look for in a night cream. The good news is that I applied it as an eye cream as well and it was very calming and did not irritate my sensitive eyes.

Lipstick -Urban Decay - Ink Lip Stain
epheme 2/2/2003 8:34:00 PM
I find this very easy to use. I bought it in Naked, which looks pinky-brown in the tube but on me is more of a brick-brown color. I use the side of the applicator to go over my entire lip and then the tip to line. Wouldn't recommend it if you're prone to dry lips, as the stain accentuates dry flakes on lips.

Palettes -Trish McEvoy - Touch-Up Card

I got this in "nude". There is also a "bronze" option. contains concealer, blush, and lipstick/lipgloss. thin enough to slip into your back pocket or wallet, it's great for travelling ultra light. Deducted a point because I would rather have eyeshadow than the concealer-foundation duo.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #210 Precise Eye Liner (Fine Point)
epheme 1/28/2003 8:11:00 PM
Great for eyeliner, I can imagine this working well with a gel type eyeliner as well as traditional cake/shadow liners. good quality, but nothing that can't be found at an art store for a fraction of the price. bristles are about 3cm long, and dense enough to give you good control without making a really fat line.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #204 Lash Brush

$8.50. Great for separating lashes and grooming brows. It's nice to have one on a long handle, but for personal use you can use an old mascara wand (just clean it really well first!).

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #201 Sponge Tip Applicator
epheme 1/28/2003 8:04:00 PM
it's nice to have a sponge tip applicator brush, especially when doing makeup on other people (the little ones are kind of hard to maneuver in somebody else's face). But if you're just buying it for your own use, save your money and buy the disposable ones, the foam wears out almost as fast. I also found that the ferrule came loose (something that's never happened to me before with a MAC brush.) it's only $8.50, but I would pass.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #168 Large Angled Contour Brush
epheme 1/28/2003 7:59:00 PM
I love this brush too...soft, well balanced, and so nice for applying any kind of color or powder to your face. I don't really like to contour my face too much, but if it's a must, this (and Shu's #20H) are the best ones for the job. I've found MAC's brushes to be hit & miss, but this one is definitely a hit!! :)

Makeup Brushes -MAC - Fan Brush (Duster)

not really useful for everyday, used for special effects and stippling. If you really want a fan brush go to the art store and get one for a few dollars.

Lip Gloss -Urban Decay - Shot Gun lipgunk
epheme 1/28/2003 7:53:00 PM
I like UD lipgunks, and this is no exception. I'd been bored with my staple "biker" lipgunk and this is what I got to break up the monotony. It's a bit frostier and pinker than biker. Very wearable, but you need to blot it down some for daytime wear :)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Creme de Violet eye shadow
epheme 1/28/2003 7:51:00 PM
Not a great shade...frosty bluish-lavender. Also, since it's frosty, it's a bit difficult to apply to make it look good. Is good if you are looking for colors that "flash" duochrome...this one flashes a kind of iridescent blue or opalescence I guess. Not for me.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Humid (Frost)
epheme 1/28/2003 7:41:00 PM
boring dark green with some shimmer. Used as a liner most often, I had a MAC MA use this on the inner rim of my lower lid with Plumage on the upper lid. I just don't like the color, it's this is a color review. I love MAC eyeshadow and the texture of this lives up to its reputation. I just didn't like the color.
