Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Strawberry Body Butter

Just got this in a value set. Bought it coz the sis likes the strawberry scent. I didn't really like it initially, but after using the shower gel and body polish (foaming body scrub, not the oil based one), I'm in love with the scent too! And it lasts! It can get a lil sticky at times, esp when you apply too much. Won't say I'll repurchase it for sure, but if there are no other fragrances available, I'll get it again!

I don't like this. Maybe I got a defective one but it just tastes horrid!! I swapped for it, heard that it's effective as a lipbalm. So I put it on my lips as a lipbalm, hoping that it could moisturize my chapped lips... after a while, my lips had this burning pain and became slightly red and swollen! Not to mention the horrible bitter taste! Urgh!
I love this powder! Great coverage and nice packaging. I love the purple puff that comes with it too! It makes my skin look so soft and smooth. Keeps my face matte for a longer period of time too. Even my sis got hooked to using this powder. I gave her my container of powder coz there's no way I can finish it! I bought mine like last year, and up till now I've still got abt 50% more! Lemming for the purple one... For reference, I'm a 20 Claire for Chanel foundations. I bought #701 for Anna Sui.
This didn't work for me. Left my hair all tangled up and dry. AND the lentil seeds got stuck in my hair!!! A hassle to use too. Edit 2006 July: I started using this again, after visiting the Lush forums, and learning how to use solid shampoos the right way. Now, I'm using this daily! It leaves my hair soft and clean, albeit still a little tangly. But my conditioner can fix that, and I don't have to use as much conditioner as before too. I still hate the packaging though.
Despite all the rave reviews here, sadly I didn't like it. Grains were too little to give me a good rubdown. I didn't particularly dig the base too... way too oily for my humid weather in Singapore. Bar went off fast too. Still sticking to my St Ives for a good scrub.

weirdly enough, this product stings me... and makes my eyes water whenever i apply it... dries fast, which is good, but my face felt tight after it dried... don't really like it...

generally, a pretty gd product. defines my lashes nicely and holds curls. though it's not waterproof, but it doesn't smear or run, even when i use eyedrops (unlike maxfactor). would buy it again!
Got this at Mustafa in Singapore though it's widely available in Australia. Delivers what it promises, moisturizing while its texture is like silk. Very light and smooth. Absorbs fast (ie no sticky feel). Nice scent too. But might not be moisturizing enough for dry winter months.
1st time buying a MAC product. I'm quite pleased with it! Got Gentle Lentil (& Lucky Jade) on impulse, but happy that I did. I use it as liner for my hidden lids, didn't even crease or fade at all! And I've got oily lids!! But I've to be careful with how much I apply, otherwise, I look beaten up... overall, I'm happy with my buy!
Shampoo -Klorane - gentle shampoo with oat milk ( frequent use)

My 2nd time buying this product. I wash my hair abt 2x a day, so I really needed something gentle for my hair. The smell is really soothing, not at all offensive. Though the shampoo doesn't moisturize my hair, but it's ok. I'll just leave it for night usage. Will most definitely buy this again!
1st time buying a MAC product. I'm quite pleased with it! Got Lucky Jade (& Gentle Lentil) on impulse, but happy that I did. The staying power is good for the 12 hours that I work, didn't even crease or fade at all! And I've got oily lids!! Also had a customer asked abt my e/s colour (I take that as a compliment).. happy with my buy!
This is a slightly above average product, I'd say. While it doesn't zap pimples straight away, it keeps my face oil free for a longer period of time after masking. Texture is great, creamy and easy to spread. There's a scent, but I can't put my finger on it. Pretty low price, but it goes out of stock quickly at my local drugstore. Would repurchase again if I don't have the $, in replace of my favourite Origins charcoal mask & Biotherm purifying mask. Edit 2006 July: My skintype turned sensitive, and I'm no longer suitable for this mask. It stings me.
Masks -Elizabeth Arden - Deep Cleansing Mask [DISCONTINUED]

at 1st use, it was pretty gd. but subsequently, i felt that the tightening effect was kinda too harsh for me.. i cld feel my face cracking up as the mask dries on me.. not purchasing again Update: I found a way to use this mask without having the harsh effect. Apply a thin layer on the skin and allow to dry. It dries up without cracking. And works just the same!
Great product from Escada! This is my all-time favourite perfume. Pity it has been discontinued. The new fragrance, Island Kiss, doesn't really match up to Ibiza Hippie. Now that this has been discontinued, I'm still on my search for my next HG perfume. *sigh*
2nd cleansing oil i tried (1st was shu uemura, and that broke me out badly. BADLY). really gd. removes even waterproof eye MU with the 1st cleansing round. i just follow up with HABA powder wash, and i'm ready for toner & all! =) Edit 2006 July: After trying Fancl, this has been relegated to 2nd place. Nothing wrong with it, but I prefer the subtle scent of Fancl, and the cushiony texture. HABA feels a little too watery, and I can't get past that mineral oil smell.
