I admit I bought this for the cute tin! But it really does seem to work, at least it helps to make me feel relaxed. The scent is very comforting and not overwhelming.
I bought a gift set of this fragrance on special, it came with a body wash and shower gel. On its own the fragrance is nice and girly, I wore it all summer and it made me feel happy! :) The shower gel was nice, but the body lotion was quite sickening, and to wear it all together was just too much. Although it's a nice scent, I wouldn't buy it again because there are so many other fragrances I prefer.
This is a really gorgeous colour to give eyes definition and a subtle smoky look. I have brown/hazel eyes (depends on the light) and I wear this with Jest as a base on my eyelid, and Shroom as a highlight on my browbone. A MAC makeup artist chose these colours for me years ago and I swear by them, they make my eyes look so big and gorgeous! Oh and this shade is so heavily pigmented, you only need to put the teeny-tiniest bit on your eyeshadow brush and it goes a long way!
This colour looks great on the eyelid, I use it with Shroom on my browbone and Bronze for the crease, looks amazing!
Yes MAC eyeshadows are expensive, but they last for ages, never crumble and are heavily pigmented. Overall I think they are worth the $.
BEST HIGHLIGHTER EVER!!! All of MACs eyeshadows have a great consistency and are heavily pigmented. Shroom looks amazing on the brow bone, I use it with Jest on my lids and Bronze to add definition.
I've had this lip brush for years and I still love it. The packaging is cute and the brush does a good job! Can't complain for the price, it's great value for money.
I can't compare this to any high-end blush brushes, but it's definitely the best cheaper one I've ever used. I've had mine for a couple of years and it's still like new. Nice and soft, doesn't scratch my skin and picks up product nicely.
Highlighters -The Body Shop - Shimmer Waves in Blush

This stuff is beautiful, I love that it has a shimmer, but it's not OTT. My skin always looks nice and glowy when I wear this. I have very pale skin and don't like to use bronzers, so this is a great alternative. The lightest colours work really nicely as an illuminator for under the eye area. Will definitely repurchase, although it seems to be lasting forever!
OMG I am addicted to this stuff! I'd never really been a fan of bath oils until I tried this - it doesn't make the bath all slippery and it leaves my skin feeling so moisturised. It's such good value, I'll definitely be using this all winter!
I've been using this foundation for years, mainly because it's one of the few that actually has a shade light enough for my skin! I use pale ivory, it's the lightest shade EL make as far as I know. I'm 24 and I've been using Lucidity since I was about 19. It has a nice consistency and good coverage, but it's not for the days that you just want a sheer coverage. After the bottle has been open a while the liquid becomes a bit thicker and gloopy, but that's to be expected I guess. Oh and I like that it's made for dryer skins, it doesn't make my skin look flaky! Overall I give it a thumbs up!
Pressed Powders -Estee Lauder - AeroMatte Ultralucent Pressed Powder

I really like this powder, I wear it over my EL Lucidity foundation and it gives my skin a nice airbrushed look, rather than looking like I've actually powdered my face! I hate feeling lake my makeup is caked on and this is nice and light but still controls shine. I generally only wear powder in winter, so I don't know how well this would hold up in hotter, more humid weather.
Not bad at all for the price! Gives a nice natural look, so I wear it during the day. It's easy to do a couple of coats with this one too, so you can build it up for a more dramatic look. Doesn't seem to smudge or flake. Overall I think it's good value for money and I'd buy it again.
I have combination skin that gets very dry in winter, and can also have a very bad reaction to some cleansers. For this reason I had been using Estee Lauder Perfectly Clear foaming cleanser for years because it was "safe". But I decided to give the Avon Retroactive range a go since I have heard a lot of good things about it. Firstly, I was scared that this stuff might dry out my skin, but it does no such thing! :) My skin feels so clean after I use it, much cleaner than with the Estee Lauder, but there is no dryness. The little beads don't burst straight away, but if you wash your face well with the cleanser they eventually dissolve. I guess it encourages you to wash your face thouroughly! I'm 24 and my skin looks much younger (I've always stayed out of the sun), so I'm not really too fussed about whether or not it prevents wrinkles, but if it does then that's a bonus! It's great value for money, if it was the in the same price range as EL, Lancome, etc. then I might try something else, but I think because of the saving and the great quality I will continue to use this cleanser.
Mascara -ModelCo - Lash Extend Mascara in Bazaar Black

I really like this mascara, mainly for the fact that it doesn't smudge during the day. The formula is also good, it doesn't tend to clump, most of the time I don't even have to wipe the wand before I apply it. I have to say that the packaging is awful though, I really hate the tacky hot-pink colour of ModelCo cosmetics.
