I'm surprised at the reviews, I love this mascara. It gives me incredibly long and full lashes with just one coat. I'm always in a hurry in the mornings, so if I want a very lush lash look, I swipe this on and go. It's not the driest mascara out there, but I've never had issues with it taking a long time to dry or leaving any smudges. It lasts all day and then comes off easily with remover.
Unlike most of the other reviewers, I love the scent and the light tint it leaves on my lips! It's a very pretty rosy shade on me. Love how this isn't slippery and greasy, or waxy. It is very buttery soft and seems to last on my lips for several hours. It's a bit pricey, but honestly, it works so well I think it's worth it. It's not supposed to be a lipstick, so I'm not sure what everyone is looking for in terms of tint here, it's very subtle and pretty without any real shine. Love it.
Yes, this does work great on brows, but I prefer one of my Stila shadows more. Instead, I have started using this as a cheek contour powder! My skin is light olive, and this is such a perfect shade to go right under the cheekbone for more sculpting. It's not too dark, and has no orange cast to it. Then I top it with a peach blush and I'm ready to go! Works great to define your jawline as well, just keep a light hand and use a contouring blush brush.
I was walking around with a Tarte blush in my hands, trying to decide if I could really spend over $20 on a blush. I saw this one by Sephora, and fell in love with the color. It's a lovely matte shade that works great on my light olive skin. It really makes my cheeks pop in a very naturally flushed way. The color lasts for a long time, too. Really, a perfect pink tone.
Finally! I have been looking for my HG concealer for years now, and I think this is it. It was on sale for $8 and I got the medium shade. It's absolutely the perfect thickness to conceal everything without looking caked on. It dries to a powdery finish and lasts all day. I absolutely LOVE it.
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

I love primer potion as a product, but the packaging is horrid. Has anyone else had a problem with the metallic purple paint on the bottle flaking off everywhere? It's seriously all over my drawer now. Grrrr. The product itself is great, truly does what it says and lasts until I use remover. Keeps your shadows their true color all day.
Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Salux Nylon Japanese Bath Towel

Fantastic! After reading about these here, I remembered seeing the package at the little Japanese market by my house. They have them in an odd spot, by the bowls and kitchen items. I was so happy to see they were the actual Salux brand. I bought two, for about $3.50 each. So nice to pull it long and use ti all over my back, or fold it and use it like a scrubbie everywhere else. Really works and didn't irritate my sensitive skin at all.
I love this product! I've been using it for years now. Not sure about what another reviewer said about it no longer available in the US? I always can find it at Target or Walmart. I've tried a few colors, some too light (Buff) some too pink (Natural) and my favorite is Medium Beige. Works perfectly on my light olive skin with its yellow undertones. I usually wear it just as a spot concealer, but if I use it as a full base, I never draw it directly on my skin. I use a foundation brush to pick up some from the tube and give it a light wash across my face. A little goes a long way - one tube will last a year for me. My skin is dry, but I've never ever had anything but even coverage from Pan Stick, and it's never melted or slid off.
Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base

I bought this on a whim, thinking I'd use it all over my face and under my eyes. It doesn't work too well under the eyes, because it makes the concealer slide off. I started using just a dab on my forehead and nose (where I tend to shine) before I use my foundation. Perfection! It keeps the shine away for at least 6 hours and I will continue to repurchase once it runs out. I use a very small amount, so the tiny container lasts for a long time. Love it! ETA - I still use this on my forehead and nose every day before foundation. if I don't, I get so shiny! I have found that it also works so well under my eyes and before applying Hard Candy Glamoflage concealer. It tends to get cakey, but with this primer, it just glides on. After about a year, I have only used about 1/2 of the tiny jar!
I have extremely thick, wavy hair with corkscrew curls underneath. This stuff works to make it almost completely straight with the blowdryer alone. You only have to use a nickel-sized amount, any more will flake. I've been using it for at least 10 years now. I hope they didn't change the formula as some of the other reviewers noticed - my tube is about 3 years old and still about 70% full. I use it maybe once every couple of weeks.
Conditioner -Organix - Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner
HeidiF69 3/10/2011 7:06:00 PM
I didn't know that a conditioner could make your hair look like straw, but this one does it! Gosh, I don't know where to begin, this was SO BAD. You could almost put anything else in your hair with better results. It's almost like my hair needed a week to recover after using this once. Left it dry, tangled and thirsty. HORRID!
Eye Makeup Remover -The Body Shop - Chamomile Eye Makeup Remover
HeidiF69 2/28/2011 8:20:00 PM
I adore this stuff! No, it doesn't work well to remove waterproof mascara, but it will erase everything else. It never stings my eyes, and sometimes I use it all over my face as a general makeup remover. It works wonderfully. My face and eyes never feel dry or tight after I use it. I've had trouble with nearly every other type of remover stinging my eyes or leaving a film, but not this one. I keep buying it as soon as I run out.
This has become my go-to favorite foundation. I didn't wear any foundation for years, but decided I needed some to cover some uneven tones. This works so well and lasts all day. It makes my skin look so flawless that people have commented. I've used it for a couple years now and found that it's a bit tricky to get a light coverage with, so here's what I do: Put a small dot on my forehead, then blend it right away. Repeat on each cheek and chin. It sets SO fast that you really need to blend it immediately, but this method has worked very well. You can even use it as a light concealer. My only complaint is that the colors are not quite what I need. I had to buy two, one shade apart, and just pour a bit of each into each bottle to make the best shade. I have very sensitive skin and this never breaks me out.
Liquid -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Treatment Makeup
HeidiF69 2/28/2011 7:26:00 PM
I really wanted to like this product! It sure promised a lot - I don't have many fine lines, but hey, who wouldn't want to erase them? The first time I tried it, I couldn't find where it was applied. The color was a perfect match (Nude) and the applicator was weird and hard to use. It just kind of sat on top of my skin, and the applicator smeared it all over. After reading some reviews here, I removed the applicator covering and it worked so much better! I loved it - until I realized I was broken out. I stopped it for a few days and my skin cleared. Tried it once more, and within hours, little bumps all over my face. I think it's a good idea in theory, but covers the skin too much with the weird silicone-like formula. Back to my tried and true Revlon ColorStay!
I bought this for the first time over the summer, and quickly became obsessed with the clean scent. It really does stay on forever, and I think it works well in the summer for this reason. It smells a bit like Irish Spring soap and has some rose notes to it. My mom even went crazy for it and started using mine when she came over, so I had to buy her a bottle!
