Polishes -Chanel - Tulipe Noir

Someone gave me a color replacement for this shade. Thanks jo anne! It's fingerpaints polish in cranberry beauty. I've also seen a good color from rimmel called russet flame. That one might not be the same, but the same range for autumn at least. Like someone below said, there are a million good colors too similar for me to buy the Chanel. It's probably sold out anyway! lol

Conditioner -Grassroots - in perfect condition deeply moisturizing conditioner

Oh, so glad that I bought this! Thankful that is has been reviewed on here, even though I bought it beforehand. I got 2 big tubes on clearance for $4.72 each. Normally $13.50. Love the fresh smells of this entire line from grassroots. This gave my hair the right amount of moisture, and believe me my hair needs alot of moisture year round. I barely color my hair, but the hair iron makes it dry. I bought every tube they had!

Shampoo -Dove - Cool Moisture Shampoo
rated 4 of 5
staciarose22 8/1/2007 5:57:00 PM

I was in the hair care aisle and not looking for anything in particular when I picked this and the conditioner up. I don't know if it's the packaging or the scent, but dove just seems clean and soft. Maybe memories of using the original dove bar and it's gentle moisture, the whole line seems to match that idea in my mind. The scent is so fresh and not sugary. There seems to be high demand for cucumber scents now. The conditioner isn't that great for medium or thick hair. I have thick hair and it barely does the job.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Volume Exact [DISCONTINUED]

The only mascara I ever use. This is the best on the market. Even though many have copied, it's still the best. I think max factor did have there's out first, but this one got noticed more. This wand works wonders with lashes and builds volume with no clumps.

Eye Shadow -New York Color - Sparkle Eye Dust- Opal Sparkle
rated 5 of 5
staciarose22 7/24/2007 1:03:00 AM

This is a drugstore gem! You can rarely find a good opal shadow in the drugstore that flashes both pink, blue, and has a white base shadow with sparkles. The other loose shadows are good as well, but this one instantly brightens the eyes and is still subtle enough to wear to work if you place it sheer on lids. It's also a great inner eye highlight shade. It's a little like a Make Up For Ever Diamond Powder with only sparkle instead of microfine glitter.

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Freshwater Cucumber

I bought a small gift set with the tiny toilette and lotion. This is refreshing and a relaxed fragrance. Just cool and calm, it smells nice. Not a scent to be crazy about, but still it's good. I will wear what I got today. Always a great scent for summer! This won't weigh you down with heavy notes.

Concealers -Physicians Formula - Gentle Cover Concealer Stick (Yellow)
rated 4 of 5
staciarose22 7/24/2007 12:50:00 AM

Apparently no one has been reading the directions for this stuff! It clearly says to apply makeup over this to cover the yellow. I put this on sparingly, then a concealer and then a light dusting of powder. This keeps it from sliding and doesn't cake up if you apply each lightly. It's either this or maybelline's cover stick, they are the only thing that brightens and covers. I don't have really dark circles, just use it to brighten that eye area.

Polishes -Rimmel - Nail Tip Whitener
rated 3 of 5
staciarose22 7/22/2007 10:00:00 PM

It's thick so you don't get streaks. I use this all over my nails because stark white nails are HOT for summer. Toes and fingernails, it's just a clean look. It also gets more attention, since I think the french nails have been over done.

Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Pleasures Delight
rated 4 of 5
staciarose22 7/18/2007 10:02:00 PM

Update: 5/7/08 I have been wearing this for a months now. Since Christmas. I got the 1.7oz gift set with a smaller purse spray. I would never leave that in a purse though, it's glass and seems delicate. I love this perfume, and for that reason I try not to wear it often. I get tired of perfumes easily, so I want to go back to it ever so often and enjoy the fragrance instead of being sick of it. When you first spray it, it is stronger but not overwhelming. The warmer weather will always affect the scent. It's hard to describe for me... It's floral and gourmand. Fresh and a little sweet at times, sexy on the dry down. I can see how most gourmands with patchouli are compared to Angel, but this is really different. It's elegant and well done. Few perfumes these days are worked on as hard as an Estee Lauder perfume, they take their time in creating scents.

Fragrances -Cynthia Rowley - Cynthia Rowley perfume
rated 5 of 5
staciarose22 7/16/2007 7:03:00 PM

I paid $14.99 for this at tj maxx. Only one bottle left and I got it asap. The gold over the cap is peeling, but I don't care. The bottle has a vintage carefree design, and plus it smells REALLY GOOD! This is not heavy or over done, but it lasts all day. It mixes with my skin and makes a new scent. Smells like a soft, pretty, blossom floral. Very hard to determine the notes used, so I looked it up. Cynthia Rowley combines Verbena, Bergamot, White Cyclamen, and Red Currant with a vibrant floral heart of Pink Honeysuckle and Freesia and warm undertones of Heliotrope, White Musk and Amber. The result is an exuberant mix of sweet and sexy--a scent that makes you feel pretty. Those bad reviews must have smelled an old heat damaged tester. This stuff is very pretty!

Conditioner -Clairol - Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Conditioner
rated 4 of 5
staciarose22 7/14/2007 2:02:00 PM

I love to use the 2 in 1 with this. I've been using it since it came out, mostly because of the tropical scent. It is moisturizing, but not enough for me in the summer. So I now use the revamped line from aussie called moist. That stuff is amazing and I don't even need an extra conditioner with the 2 in1.

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Big Bang glossimer
rated 4 of 5
staciarose22 7/2/2007 1:44:00 PM

I called the company, and this was the shade used in the new ad. The pearl biting ad... So sexy and so many women I've met just had to know what shade that was. I hate when they don't list it on the print ad. Gorgeous and very hot shade!

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Pure Pressed Powder in Medium
rated 4 of 5
staciarose22 6/27/2007 6:38:00 PM

I only paid $1.50 on clearance. This is a light medium shade, even though it says medium. I have fairer skin and wear it. Just from a swipe test on my finger I can tell it's sheer. It must be hard pressed because others come off easily. The puff is rediculous! It's 2 inches long...Like a baby's powder puff. I guess that prevents you from over applying. No time to use it all over your face. This is a t-zone only powder for quick touch ups. After using it for a week, it really is a good powder. No shine, but no dryness or cakey look. Just the right amount of fresh skin to show through the powder. I will use it up, but wonder if it's being DC'ed

Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild - Wild Shine 324A Oh Baby Shine
rated 5 of 5
staciarose22 6/27/2007 6:27:00 PM

This color is perfect! I have been searching for something with this shade and texture a long time. It's smoothe and shiny, and the color is an amazing shade of pink. Not bright, but not neutral. It enhances your lips, and I will buy this forever. The lipsticks aren't 99 cents anymore, but $2 isn't bad.

Fragrances -GAP Beauty - Dream
rated 5 of 5
staciarose22 6/26/2007 10:15:00 PM

Ahhh, memories. I wanted this so much for christmas one year in high school. My mom bought it for me. It's fresh, crisp, and feminine. Love the orange flower and freesia combination. This will always be a classic for me. There are just too many good memories for it to get old! It never fails to take me back, and thankfully I only have good feelings towards Dream. It's still selling...it's just a perfect fresh perfume for all ages. Even though I wore it as a teen, it can still be worn by any woman. It's one of the best affordable perfumes made. It's simple and very pretty to wear. I still have a bottle of it.
