Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Silk Finish Blush 831D Pearlescent Pink

This looks so pretty in the pan! I would say it looks like a dupe of Nars Orgasm, with its golden glimmer. Beware - this is super pigmented, a lot of powder comes off the pan when the brush hits it, and so its super easy to over apply. For me, this was a bit of a dealbreaker. It made me look a little feverish each time I used it, though admittedly the color of the blush itself is super pretty, if you manage not to over apply. Since I have Milani luminous, which is another Orgasm dupe, I didn't feel the need to keep this one, due to the overapplication problem.
Got this in the peach, though it looks more nude toned. Not really that impressed with the color, I think it washed me out (for reference I'm half asian, about NC 20-25). I'm having a problem with peeling, dry lips at the moment, and this emphasised the bad state of my lips rather than help it. It's cheap which is nice, and it does have that nice sheen. Maybe it would be better in another color? Not really willing to spend any more $ to try this though.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Walking on Eggshells

I found this a bit too frosty. It looks really pretty in the pan, and I imagine that the colors would suit a lot of different skin tones. The pinkish color reminds me of a mix between UD chopper (naked 2) and UD sin (naked 1).
Lotions/ Creams -Neutrogena - Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

It is a good hand moisturizer. Definitely no frills in terms of its scent. I don't love the feel of it going on my hands, but I know it works so I keep using it.
I love this lotion! I use this on my feet every night before going to bed. I use this on my body when I feel I need some extra miniaturization. Also, I just love the smell!! I've tried to cvs and riteaid copies of this product, and they just don't measure up to this. They can't get the scent right! The only reason that I gave this a 4 instead of 5, is that it does have a slightly oily feel to it.
Lotions/ Creams -Nivea - Nivea Soft Moisturizing Creme

I've used this on and off through the years. I llike Nivea skincare products just in general. I like the scent, and the price of this. My main skin gripe is the ocassional flaky skin around the nose area (from nose blowing from colds!) so though this isn't the most luxe or hydrating moisturizer around, this can work for me all year round. I just found a 3 piece set of this in all CVS for $7 what a bargain!!
Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil

I love this balm! It looks bright pink in the bullet but just gives your lips a very slight tint. Its great to use under lipsticks when you want to tone down the color. Love!
Lipstick -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti

I really like orange lips - but mostly on other people. Whether it's flattering on me, I think the jury is still out. This is definitely a bright orange. I'm not confident enough to wear out super bright colors so I wear this over a glossy lip balm which tames the color a bit. I don't find myself reaching for this that often, but I think this would look wonderful on many girls. I'm a big fan of the lip butter formula in general so look forward to trying more colors.
Lips -Revlon - Color Burst lip butter - Cotton Candy

I'm loving this lip butter! Its a cool toned barbie pink. As a color reference, I'm half asian NC20/25, and I would consider myself warm or neutral toned. This color looks very pretty pink (not really mauvey) on me. It is definitely cool toned. The formula is great, it has the comfort and sheen of a lip balm, with a much better pigmentation. Hope this line becomes permanent!
I'm half asian, and have thick wavy hair. I was excited to find this at a local japanese grocery and dolled out the cash (it was $20 a bottle) with optimism given what I've heard this does to asian hair. I find this okay. My hair is naturally given to shine, its frizz that I need to worry about. I do like my hair using this, but I can't say that its a lot better than some other drugstore shampoos that I've used. I'm not crazy about the fragrance. I wish it smelled prettier (if that makes sense!). I wouldn't rule out buying this again, but probably just as another impulse buy. :)
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter - Candy Apple
browneyessmiles 1/28/2012 4:13:00 PM
I'm a bright color phobe, and have loved the 'idea' of a red lip, but I've been too self-concious to really wear one. I'm loving candy apple - its so easy to wear! Yes,it red. But not super bright. Would consider getting a back up of this though I don't naturally wear bright colors very often, and I'm hopeful that Revlon makes their lip butter line permanent, as I love their general formula. I find these lip butters, not moisturizing exactly, but definitely not drying, comfortable to wear, and a soft gloss. I agree with those that say these are a dupe to the dior lippies that have now been discontinued.
This looks so pretty swiped on the back of my hand!! Unfortunately, I find the texture to be a bit too tacky/sticky, and just not easy to wear. I'm a bit of a bright color phobe so I can't wear it too layered as the color is too strong. I generally really like Revlon lip products, and would be open to trying other colors in this line.
I really like the range of colors in this. Its less of a shimmer bomb than Naked 1 which I appreciate, and there are more light colors which I find more wearable. I find the pigmentation okay, I'm not as impressed with UD as I thought I would be. Though I definitely don't regret buying this, I'm not sure if I would buy this again.
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter - Berry Smoothie

I think this color is so easy to wear, its fantastic. I do really like the feel of this lipstick, though I wouldn't go so far as to say it felt like lipbalm. I don't think the packaging is particularly attractive - but that's no big deal. I look forward to picking up more colors!
I got this in a duo with deep throat blush (which I love). I knew about laguna from the hype on the boards,so I was optomistic for this one, as my first bronzer. To me its just okay, I like it over deep throat on certain makeup looks. I like that it doesn't have sparkle, but don't find myself reaching for it often, and certain don't wear it on its own. I don't think I would buy it again. I've since found tarte park avenue princess and I prefer that.
