The quality of MAC lipliners is great - smooth application, wide range of colors, and wonderful staying power.
The name "Sheer Plum" is very misleading - I was hoping for a plum lipstick, but this was reddish-brown! Not at all what I was expecting, and it just doesn't work for my cool coloring. MCA does have great quality lipsticks but I wouldn't buy this one again.
I didn't love Sequin - it is a bit more pinky then I am used to. On me, it was a medium pink with loads of frost/shimmer. I do like the quality of MAC lipsticks, but this color just didn't work for me.
Spite is my favorite MAC lipglass - a lovely, glossy beigey-brown neutral. I like MAC lipglass - they are creamy, super glossy, and taste good. I find the staying power to be average, and think they are a bit too tacky-feeling, though.
I like MAC lipsticks - they have a nice, creamy texture, wonderful staying power, and a huge color selection. My favorite is Gleam, a pretty, shimmery neutral rose.
So much for a universally flattering color - it didn't look good on me :-( It was a brownish-nude-beige on me, and made me look blah and washed out. I do like the quality of MAC's lipsticks, but this color just didn't work for me.
Spice looked terrible on me - it looked to orange and not neutral enough. The quality is great, though - smooth application and great staying power. For neutral lips, I like NARS Hush liner.
This does give a high-gloss look, but I find it to be way too tacky/sticky. As others have mentioned, my hair keeps getting stuck to my lips! Great for those occasions when you need a super-glossy look, but for everyday there are other glosses I like more.
I like MAC lipglass - they are creamy, super glossy, and taste good. I find the staying power to be average, and think they are a bit too tacky-feeling, though. I had a hard time finding a color that looked good on me, but my favorite is Spite, a beigey-brown neutral.
I have the slanted-tip Tweezermans, and I love them. I have had them about 4 years and they still work perfectly. They are very precise and help prevent from grabbing the skin when trying to pluck a hair. I won't use anything else now!
I love this stuff - it smooths my hair out whether I blowdry, flatiron, or let my hair dry naturally, whether I wear it curly or straight. Also, it smells delicious!
This is a good mascara, but not great. I always have to wipe the brush with a tissue before using or else it clumps all over my lashes. As long as I wipe it first, it goes on nicely and gives me nice, dramatic lashes. I don't find this mascara to be that exceptional, and there are others out there that I like more.
This is a great mascara - it's good for getting super dramatic lashes. It doesn't get clumpy or flaky and the brush is nice. However, this mascara is not so great that I'm willing to pay over $20 for it, (especially when I try to replace my mascara every 3 months since I have sensitive eyes). I think there are lots of other (cheaper) mascaras out there that work just as well or better. So, while this is a great mascara, the same quality can be had for less money.
BeneTint was just ok for me; I have very fair skin and felt that as a blush it was a little *too* noticeable, and on my lips, which naturally have color, it wasn't noticeable at all. I think this product works well for some and not at all for others. I wouldn't buy it again, but it is a good quality product and would recommend it.
OK, so the name of this product makes me *blush* but it is beautiful! Since it is peachy and warm-toned, I didn't think it would work on my cool, pale skin. But it looked lovely - a soft, shimmery, peachy look that is wonderful for a nude, ethereal look. Has good staying power, great pigmentation, and I love the sleek compact.
