this is a review for the old version, b/c i think they improved upon this. anyway, i love this brilliant scrub! i use it in the shower and i got about three uses out of it. the outer layer fizzes up and bubbles away and leaves a hard scrubby bar. gentler than buffy and just as effective. i just wish it was slightly larger but maybe when i order the new version it will be!
i've never had success with any of lush's deoderants so i was hesitant to try this. the description sounded fantastic though so i gave it a try. i love it!!! creamy, smooth, and smells wonderful. the texture is like a paste so that you must apply it with your fingers and rub it in like you would a cream or lotion. it sinks in nicely and feels very soothing and light. no odor at all throughout the day!! i will repurchase this one!
there's no need for any sort of lotion after using this bomb. the bath water is just filled with moisturizing oils that coat my skin and stay there. i was very surprised b/c it'd so tiny but it really is quite effective. the smell is excellent-light citrus with just the faintest hint of floral. i feel like i'm soaking in luxury whenever i use this. highly recommend!!!
Lotions/ Creams -LUSH - Soft Coeur Massage Bar (The Honeymooner)
triangleX 4/20/2004 10:08:00 PM
this is lush's best smelling massage bar. it's smells like toffee, chocolate, and butterscotch. i seriously want to eat it...but even though it's supposed to be edible (according to the SA), i licked it and it doesn't taste good at all. i'll stick with smelling it! it seems very small for the price but it does last quite awhile. i use it as a moisturizer on days when i have the extra time to rub it in. this is the one massage bar from lush that i think anyone would love!
i only really use hand lotion in the extreme winter because i hate anything greasy on my hands. i did need this however b/c of that once in awhile cracked hands thing i get. the tub packaging is cute and convenient and although it does seem like a tiny tub, it lasts forever b/c you need just a dab for both hands. plus once it's rubbed in it lasts a good while w/o disappearing. unfortunately, it takes a long time to rub it in and it takes even longer to sink in (hence the 4 out of 5). i only use it at night now when i have the time to pamper myself and really let it soak in. it works wonders!
i use this when i want to feel very soft and girly. it has that tangy cotton candy scent that seems so pretty and reminds me of when i was little. the subtle glitter is nice too b/c it's very fine and small so you won't get that kindergarten-project look. as with lush's other powders, this is very soft and luxurious feeling. the packaging can be a pain but i love the smell so it doesn't bother me much.
i'm so glad that lush decided to make a lavender soap...this one doesn't disappoint either! the fragrance is very gentle without the heaviness of most lavender scents. it has an earthy, powdery soft undertone that's very unique and enticing. the grape seeds inside give a soft exfoliation without scraping the skin. i love the royal purple color too.
Bath Treatments -LUSH - Fox in the Flowers Ballistic

i'm always a fan of lush's ballistics but this one has a fragrance that I just crave. it's hard to place but it smells like wheatgrass or a green meadow or a field. though it has tons of actual flowers inside, it absolutely doesn't smell floral. i only wish that it didn't leave that green ring around the tub-it's hard to clean.
love the blue color, the soothing sea salts, the tangy scent, and the tons of seaweed that float around the surface. feels calming and zesty at the same time. i will always repurchase this one.
first of all...i would never use this as a hand cream b/c it's way too sticky but i love it for my hair! i just scoop out a tiny bit, rub it between my hands and scrunch it through my hair. i get the prettiest, softest waves ever with no crunchiness or hardness at all. it drys into my hair completely and leaves only the faintest citrus scent behind. the jar is so cute too and i like the attached flip-top lid...it makes the product easier to use. the jar seems a little small (1.5oz) for $16 but so little product is needed that it will last a really long time. I'll repurchase when i run out.
this is such a cute little product! i have this in Beach Ball, which is the new peach toned colors out for spring. two are shimmer and the others are matte. i find that all are light enough for daytime and they go well enough with one another to mix and match. that's the convenience of this product...one tiny round ball with enough colors for a little variety. the glosses are certainly not the highest quality (a little thick and slightly sticky) but they're fun and very cheap so i'd buy this again in the future if another color set caught my eye.
this is a beautiful and unique eyeshadow. the color is perfect for any time of the day and would go perfectly with any other color shadow. plus i think any range of skintone would suit this as well. it's a nice muted blush pink/nude with a matte consistancy-no shimmer or shine. it's accented with a million tiny silver sparkles, which may seem like it would be garrish but it makes a perfect compliment to the natural color of the shadow. it looks so pretty on! love the simple black packaging and easy to open compact.
my first NARS purchase...i'm so happy with it! the perfect daytime wearable red color for that "bitten" lips look. looks fire engine red in the tube but goes on sheer, light, and nicely pigmented. no shimmer, sparkles, or glop either....one of the only lip glosses i've tried that just adds a nice wet slick of color without all the unnecessary extras. i'm impressed with the feeling, tecture, and lasting power too.
i only use this about once a week but that's all it takes to show improvment in my skin. it really digs out all the nasty crap that can give me the occasional spots. my skin is sensitive/oily/combo but this is not too harsh for me despite the strong mint ingredients; it just feels refreshing and tingly. the chunks of aduki beans take a little getting used to but once you figure out how to utilize them you're set! i put the mask on for about a half-hour until dry then i add a little water to my hands and massage the mask around my face...so it actually works as a scrub and a mask. the only downside is that it's only good for about 3 months, and the container is large so a lot of product gets wasted. i still continue to buy it though b/c of the great results.
Skincare - Body -LUSH - King of Skin Body Conditioner
triangleX 2/11/2004 9:59:00 PM
this is a brilliant concept for a mopisturizer....a solid compact bar that can be slicked on in the shower. it saves so much time in the mornings! while in the shower i just run it along my skin, rub in really well, then rinse off with warm water. it sinks in nicely though it is somewhat thicker than normal creams or lotions. it has a warm musk scent that is still light enough for me use perfume. i love how soft it makes my skin feel. it's a perfect moisturizer for dry winter skin. one bar is about $7 US (i think) but it lasts me a long time.
