Skincare - Face -Perfect Potion - Rosewater eye gel

As much as I like Perfect Potion and trust their products, this gel just does nothing for me. It's light and pleasant when you put it on, but there's real effect on the way the skin looks or feels. It dries quite quickly and makes the skin around the eyes sensitive to even the slightest pull. Disappointingly, this was a waste of money and I still have a 90%-full bottle which I am not going to use up.

Skincare - Face -Perfect Potion - Geranium moisturizing emulsion

Well into my second bottle of this emulsion and I am pretty sure I'll be buying more. I have a skin which is hard to balance - something too light and it gets all dry, something too heavy and it gets all oily within a couple of days. This emulsion keeps it balanced and is perfect to use under make-up as it's so light. The smell is quite nice but not overpowering or synthetic.

Bought this product after reading so many raves about it and was very disappointed. I find it very dry and clumpy to apply, not smooth at all. when I apply it either on the eyelid or under the eye, it's so clumpy, I can actually see little uneven bits of pigment. It lasts all day but it's very hard to get off: I used a make-up remover pad, then a cotton ear bud soaked in make-up remover, then took a hot shower and when I came out, I still had some residue under my eyes. Might use this every now and then for a night out when i want that long-lasting factor, and because otherwise it would feel like such a waste of AUS$32, but would definitely never buy this again.

Lips -Clarins - Lip Colour Tint

I am going to try and get through this tube of tint (06), but I would definitely not buy another one. The colour is quite strong, much stronger than I expected from a lip tint. The only way I can wear it is to dot a bit all over the lip, but not glide any on. The texture is very grainy :-( and dry, which is probably the worst thing about it. It is also quite heavily perfumed, which is not a good thing.

Lips -Dr. Hauschka - Lipstick

Dr Hauschka Lipstick in Legato(02): really happy with this lipstick. It's that perfect red lipstick I've always wanted to find. It is a glossy warm coppery red which looks great, but my newly discovered toned-down everyday way to wear it is to blot it to take the gloss off. It's not drying and wears for a long time. I just love it!

Mascara -Bare Escentuals - Mascara

A very average mascara. It's fine for everyday use, but for that price (AUS$40) I expected something much better. If I wanted an everyday, hardly-noticeable mascara, I would've gotten an Almay one-much cheaper. Next time I'm spending this much money on a mascara, I'm getting a Lancome one.
