Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24-7 glide-on in Electric

This is actually my favorite eyeliner from urban decay because I love the bright color and it really complements brown eyes. I use it on my waterline all the time.

Primer/ Corrector -MAC - Prep + Prime Face Protect SPF 50
lunalove 2/19/2012 1:43:00 PM
I have extremely oily skin, and have tried numerous face primers, both high end and low end. This is the best I have come across that not only keeps oil at bay but also has SPF that is high enough to actually block harmful rays. If you use acids or retin-a, etc on your skin, you really need to be using a high SPF. I do think it is a bit pricey because it is a small tube but it is worth it to me because nothing else has worked as well. It is white but it does not leave a white cast to my skin. I cant say how it would do with moisturizer because I always use this on a bare face and then add liquid foundation on top.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - # 239 Eye Shader Brush
lunalove 2/19/2012 1:38:00 PM
I have two of these because I like to do multiple colors for many of my looks, and this brush is a perfect lay down brush and in a pinch you can also use just the tip for smudging, etc. I sometimes wish it werent white just because I get residual colors left there even after washing it with brush shampoo!

Cleansers -Mary Kay - Mary Kay Deep Cleanser Formula 3
lunalove 1/14/2012 8:16:00 PM
I liked this for my oily acne prone skin, it leaves me feeling very clean. But I find it a tad too drying to repurchase and I have to use a moisturizer or I start peeling.

Moisturizers -LUSH - Vanishing Cream
lunalove 1/14/2012 8:04:00 PM
This is my all time favorite night cream for my oily acne-prone skin. It leaves me matte and oh so soft. I do think it needs to be in a more sanitary container, a pump would be really nice, especially for the price. It can get messy and all over the lid and seep out the sides, so it is NOT travel-friendly. Smells like lavender so if you dont like that, I would not suggest it. Dont use too much, a small amount is all you need.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Polyester Bride eyeshadow
lunalove 1/3/2012 3:28:00 PM
I first got this in the ammo palette, and I love to use this on the inner half of my eyelid and as a base color and add a bright pop of color in the outer v. Since it is white, it goes with so many other colors. I especially like it with greens, blues, purples, gray, or black, and Ive even used pink. I may actually end up buying this as a single color since I pair it with so many others. That will be a first for me, since I usually buy the UD palettes! I re-purchased the ammo palette once already. I would like to be able to purchase the individual shadows as a refill pan for those of us that create our own palettes.

Cleansers -DHC - Washing Powder
lunalove 11/26/2011 10:26:00 PM
Like so many other reviewers, I use this in conjunction with the daily cleansing oil from DHC at night to take off all my makeup. I think without this first step this washing powder might be too drying, but together they work very well. I dont know that I would repurchase because there are so many other cleansers I still want to try, but this is a nice one that lathers and cleans well. I could see this being too stripping for dry skin. It is cheap has lasted 6 months with daily use. *EDIT* I have to knock off a star because this is just too drying for my skin, and I have oily skin! Hubby likes it though.

Cleansers -DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil
lunalove 11/26/2011 10:08:00 PM
This works better to take off my makeup than MACs cleansing oil. I had on my urban decay eyeshadow and benefit badgal lash and full foundation with primer and powder (which is all normal for me) and this took it all off without me having to use another makeup remover. I then followed with DHC washing powder, which I also like. My face feels clean but not stripped and there is nothing left on the cotton ball when I follow with a toner. The only gripe I have is that it does not smell nice, but it isnt atrocious or overbearing, just not pleasant. *EDIT* I think this may be breaking me out, so I have to say I would not repurchase this. The only new things I added to my routine were this cleansing oil and the washing powder, I will update again if I find these were not the culprits. I now use this to wash my makeup brushes because cleansing oils are the only thing that get out my foundation and lipstick.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes
lunalove 11/22/2011 4:03:00 PM
I really like these because they are easy to use, they work, and most importantly - they do not irritate my skin or my eyes! So many other brands (like MAC) wipes actually sting when I use them on my face. These do not! I do think they are not cheap but I only use one per night so I guess that is okay.

Makeup Brushes -Hourglass - Blush Brush No. 2
lunalove 11/11/2011 9:40:00 PM
I have used this both for blush and for foundation and I like it for both but I did find that it seemed I needed more of my foundation than I usually use because it seemed like the brush was soaking up excess foundation. It is a thin consistency though so that may have something to do with it. I like the nice long handle but be aware that it is more heavily weighted at the bottom. I am not giving it 5 because of the price.

Masks -Borghese - Fango Brillante

I have the active mud mask which I use weekly and thought I would try this one as well...it burned too much and I saw no brightening effects!! I will be giving this one away.

Masks -Borghese - Fango Active Mud for Face and Body
lunalove 11/11/2011 9:33:00 PM
Hmm..have to say I wasnt hugely impressed with this mask. It burns the entire 5-10 minutes I leave it on, and I dont see any real difference after use, other than the fact that my skin is less oily til the morning. For the amount you get the price is not bad, and I will use it 2x weekly til it is gone but will not repurchase. For reference I have oily acne prone skin that gets dry patches. My step mom and step sister love this mask though, and they both have normal skin that seems thinner than mine, so it may just be the different skin types.

Eye Makeup Remover -Mary Kay - Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover
lunalove 11/11/2011 7:21:00 PM
I use this for my most stubborn eye makeup (which I do about 1-2 times per week) and it works very well. It is also reasonably priced. I do not know why they call it oil free though because it clearly does seem to have oil (there are two layers that you have to shake up, and I do find that it does leave a slightly oily film). That being said, I may or may not repurchase, because my favorite KohGenDo remover is very expensive.

Eye Makeup Remover -Koh Gen Do - Cleansing Spa Water
lunalove 11/11/2011 7:17:00 PM
I have to say I agree with a previous reviewer - this stuff is fabulous for removing any and all eye makeup (I squirt it on a cotton round and gently wipe away) but it is pretty expensive so that is all I use it for (as opposed to using it on the entire face like it says on the bottle). It is not oily at all and does not have an obnoxious smell. It is the only makeup remover I have found that does not irritate my eyes at all and does not leave a film either.

Cleansers -MAC - Cleanse Off Oil
lunalove 11/11/2011 7:14:00 PM
I do not use this for my face anymore, as I prefer to wash my face and then use dermalogica's daily exfoliater; but this is the BEST brush cleanser ever for your highly pigmented makeup residue. I wash all of my brushes with this weekly, it removes all colors and conditions the bristles fabulously - your white bristle brushes will actually be white again! A must for high quality brushes that you want to keep for years. For daily brush cleansing though, I use either clinique or mac's brush cleanser which I transferred into the clinique spray bottle. This method was recommended to me by a mac makeup artist who said the whole staff uses this to deep clean the mac brushes.
