Ideal for using as an eye-liner. Fantastic staying power.
Lipstick -Clinique - Moisture Sheer SPF 15 [DISCONTINUED]

I have this in Sheer Natural and wear it nearly every day; a fantastic nude for a no make-up look. Also, it has superior staying power to any other sheer lipstick I've tried.
A nice natural looking 'no nonsense' mascara, ideal for everyday wear. It doesn't clump or flake & leaves your lashes looking lovely and healthy, soft and glossy. However I find that this doesn't hold a curl very well, and tends to weigh down my lashes until they're almost straight again... for this reason I will not be re-purchasing. (Review based on shade 'Jet Brown')
This gives me a nice natural glow and takes the anaemic looking whiteness off my very fair skin. (I use the 'Normal to Fair skin' version) Easy to apply; no exfoliating, moisturising, don't have to wash off a color guide like St Tropez, etc. Also really good value for money. The scent doesn't bother me - I can only smell a hint of the self tanning agent, it's not overpowering, although it does become stronger with time after applying. Well after the 'pros' here come the 'cons'...The texture can be abit tacky and takes a while to sink in. Also the color turns out a little yellowish on me. Still, overall a very good product.
Perhaps a tiny bit too pinky in color to be a true nude, but it's the best I can currently find. It is quite a hard pencil, i.e. it is not smooth to apply and can tug at the lip line, but at least it stays in place once applied. I much prefer this type of formula to more creamy pencils which often end up smudging outside the lip line (not a good look!). I will keep repurchasing this until I find my HG nude lipliner.
A lovely 'clean' daytime fragrance, which makes me feel all 'light-on-my-feet' when I wear it! But the staying power is extremely disappointing :o(
By far the best sharpener I have tried! Creates a nice sharp point and does not 'eat' the pencil, as other reviewers have noted. A make-up 'must have' imo.

Great staying power & good value for money. Excellent packaging - the little 'pot' has a mirror and applicator (not sure about the applicator though - I always apply with a proper eyeshadow brush). My favorite shade is '56 Beige Delicat', a light neutral shade.

Sickly sweet & over-powering. Disgustingly saccharine! Packaging is pretty tacky too...
Highlighters -Revlon - Skinlights Face Illuminator Lotion [DISCONTINUED]
gforce7 2/23/2006 12:27:00 PM
I have this in Natural Light. I apply a tiny amount of this to the top of my cheeks, just above where I've applied my blusher, and it really highlights my cheekbones beautifully and gives my complexion a glowing, healthy appearance. I have also tried applying it over other areas of my face, or mixed with moisturiser, but it has only made my face look 'greasy'. Like other reviewers, I hate the tube design. It is so easy to squirt out more than you need at a time. Also it's rather 'bulky' and basically not very nice to use. However, you receive loads of lotion in each tube, so is good value for money, and will last for ages.
Toners -Shiseido - Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Balancing Softener
gforce7 2/23/2006 9:25:00 AM
I received this as a gift, along with some other Shiseido products. It is a great toner which softens, smoothes, refreshes and (slightly) moisturises my skin. Lovely scent, which is not too strong. Great quality glass bottle. However I will not repurchase as it is simply too expensive. (I would do if it was cheaper!)
Excellent - I could never go back to shaving after using this! I use it on my underarms and legs but have, as yet, been too chicken to go near my bikini area with it, lol. It is quite painful at first, but you soon get used to this and it becomes merely a feeling of mild discomfort - I actually quite like the sensation of epilating now (!?!?)
Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Eyecurl Heated Eyelash Curler
gforce7 2/16/2006 12:28:00 PM
The best heated eyelash curler I have tried! This is one of the few heated eyelash curlers which uses an AA battery - a few others I have tried use only an AAA which is not as powerful, and therefore the wands have not heated up to high enough temperatures. However, I've taken one lippie off because the wand breaks quite easily - I suppose it becomes brittle over time from all the heat the plastic's exposed to - so I've had to replace mine a few times because of this.
Treatments (Eye) -Clarins - eye revive beauty flash

My eyes always look a less tired and 'fresher' when I wear this, although the effect is quite subtle. It seems to work by, very gently, tightening the skin around the whole eye area. It feels lovely to apply too. Good stuff but expensive. However you don't have to use much, so a tube last for ages. Would re-purchase.
Oil free cream-gel which is light & quickly/easily absorbed by the skin. Nice refreshing fragrance which is not too strong. Will deffinately repurchase.
