I will just get to the point. This stuff smells amazing, but i got a horrible rash from it. It turned my skin from the chest up beet red. It felt like my skin was on fire. I used this in conjunction with the cinnamon buns body souffle, and i had a horrible allergic reaction to it. I have always been sensitive to cinnamon, so I am sure that whatever "cinnamon" thing they used in there caused it. I actually have a relative who used the Amazing Grace products and too suffered a reaction. But i have other countless numbers of 3 in 1's and they did not give me a rash. I was severely dissapointed, because i love how it smells. But i compensate by using the "cinnamon buns laughing gas."

Skincare - Face -Philosophy - Acne Kit

This did absolutely nothing for my skin. The serum just didnt work, and the moisturizer didnt make my skin feel any better. I used it for a month, and saw no difference. Plus, the moisturizer smelled awful. Really awful. The worst smelling product i have ever used. Philosophy is an ok line- I enjoy their body washes and lotions (with the exception of cinnamon buns, with which i had an allergic reaction). But i do not like their skin care or makeup. The supernatural foundation was not "super" and was most certaintly not "natural." Try skinceuticals simply clean, and get your derm to write you a script for Tazorac cream if you really want the acne gone.

Cleansers -Skinceuticals - Simply Clean

This is a very good cleanser that was recommended to me by my doctor. I have pretty bad acne between my eyebrows and a little on my forehead and hairline, yet none anywhere else. Used in-conjunction with Tazorac creme, my acne is almost completely gone. It controls my oil, and leaves my skin extremely soft (but sometimes drying). I have used almost everything (clinique, proactiv, cetaphil, neutrogena, benefit, clean and clear, murad, philosophy, bliss.......) and this is definately one of the best. Proactiv did absolutely nothing except dry out my skin, but clinique was nice and i will probably be going back to the moisturizer. My skin has also become "healthier" and "fresher" looking since i started using this. Great overall product. UPDATE: I definitely would compare this to cetaphil...leaves a nasty film, is ultra drying, and just breaks you out. Really average and overpriced :(

Shampoo -Bumble & Bumble - Creme de Coco

Wow. This product is amazing. It is a moisturizing shampoo, yet suprisingly works for my hair. I have oily hair that HAS TO BE WASHED EVERY DAY, no matter what shampoo i use...until i tried this. It is so weird...this shampoo is for moisturizing chronically dry hair, and it keeps oil away from my hair. And its not because my hair is overdry, and therefore producing more oil. I have tried moisturizing shampoos that have actually made my hair drip with grease. But for some reason, this shampoo keeps the oil away, while leaving my hair shiny and managable. And the smell is to die for. Seaweed is also good, but can leave my hair a bit oily. I LOVE the seaweed conditioner, and I would love to try the Gentle Shampoo. Bumble and Bumble is a great line. I will never use anything else. UPDATE: I spoke too soon, it did make my hair oily.

Primer/ Corrector -Tarte - Clean Slate

I received this today in sample-form from sephora (as did everyone else). I will definately be purchasing this product. Unlike Smashbox Photo Finish, which left a greasy film on my skin, Tarte's Clean Slate is soothing, keeps the oil away, and evened out my skin tone for more precise makeup application. Definately the best primer i have tried (2nd pick is Bare Escentuals Skin rever upper, its probably better for those with drier skin, but it is also nice to wear alone and without makeup).UPDATE: This actually ended up making my skin more oily. Oh well.

Blush -NARS - The Multiple in Riviera

This is a nice product and a pretty color that looks great on my lips. Although,the product does seem to dry out after a while ( i have had it for 6 months, maybe less). My only problem is that it is just very blah. Try Tarte Cheek Stains if you want that great flushing color ( I have Blushing bride). NEVERMIND: I love this product. I have recently found that i can really use it as a three in one, as long as i double up on the lip balm so my lips dont peel. For some reason, this pinky color really brightens my emerald green eyes, and they look truly beautiful. I actually just saw myself in a picture with Tarte Tickled on, and it was awful. But when i took a picture in this, the results were beautiful! I dont think i will ever run out.

Bronzers -NARS - Laguna

Hmmmm. I have been relatively dissapointed with NARS products in general. This bronzer just did not look good on me, it had too much shimmer, and the coloring was off. Although this was not as bad as Orgasm blush, which looked awful on my light to medium neutral complexion. I have also tried Chihuahua lip gloss, which was too sticky for my tastes. I purchased Hoola bronzer, by Benefit, and that should be arriving in the mail shortly. In the meantime, I am using the Sonia Kashuk bronzer, which always works well. NARS just isn't my favorite line (with the exception of the multiple in riviera). Try stila, tarte, benefit, mally beauty, almay, burts bees,and clinique for reliable products.

Whatever. I was persuaded to buy this product and boy was I dissapointed. It looked awful on me, and I couldnt believe it, because my mom loves it, and we have almost identical skin tones. It was also way too shimmery to a point wear it looked like i was sweating profusely, and it was not attractive. Save your money, and for three dollars extra, go and purchase Tarte cheek stains in either blushing bride or tickled. You will not be dissapointed by those!

Lip Treatments -C.O. Bigelow - Rose Salve

I will never, for any moment in my life, be without this product. The consistency is perfect, not as thick as vaseline, and the smell is perfect. It is a great multi-purpose product to use as eyebrow gel, eye sheen, lip balm, cuticles, flyways, highlighter, pimples, dry elbows, and even for conditioning eyelashes. Please, dont hesistate to purchase this product, which i find better than Smith's for many reasons: Smiths's is too sheer to use as gloss, and not near as conditioning as Bigelow's. Also, the tint of smiths is very sheer pink, and bigelow's is more rosy pink. And, Bigelows is more than two dollars cheaper!

Lips -Burt's Bees - Lip Shimmer - Watermelon

I just recently discovered this product, and needless to say, it is great. It is my new favorite lip color. It turns out really pinky in natural lighting, and is definately a "watermelon" color with the lighting at my school. It's great to wear during the day, topped over benefit "flush" lip liner if i want to look like it's my natural lip color. But i can also top the combination with rose lip salve from C.O. Bigelow. The minty flavor is terrific, and their products are mostly plant derived and natural. Plus Burts bees does not do animal testing!

Shampoo -Kiehls - Herbal Protein Concentrate Shampoo

Wow. I have used this for two days and I already know this will be one of my new favorite products. I have long, straight hair with an oily scalp that has to be washed every day, but with my old shampoo, my hair would get greasy by midday. But with this kiehls product, it is a different story. It keeps the oil under control, yet still leaves my hair and (dry) ends soft, hydrated, and shiny. This is probably one of the best shampoos i have tried (plus it smells great) and i am looking forward to trying the kiehls leave in conditioner. I am hooked on kiehls!

Self Tanners -Kiehls - Sun free self tanning lotion

This is one of the best self tanners i have tried. It smells great when you put it on, and literally absorbs instantly. It is more along the lines of a liquidy gel, and you dont have to wait at all for it to dry. It did leave a slight smell on my skin, but it went away rather quickly. It gave me a sheer golden color, and no streaks at all. I am definately going to buy it again.

Blush -Tarte - Cheek Stain in Blushing Bride

I just bought this today and i like it very much. I was deciding between blushing bride and tickled peach, but i ended up choosing blushing bride (it is a really great contrast with my dark green eyes). It is a beautiful, sheer plum color, and probably works best for neutral skin tones (if you have warm skin, go with tickled peach, if you have cool, go with flush, tipsy really looks like a great universal coral). The consistency is terrific, and it smells great. IT really leaves this great, dewy glow, and i have not found it sticky at all, and i have oily, acne prone skin. An all around great product. I cant wait to buy tipsy and sunkissed!

Blush -Stila - Convertible Color Gerbera

I really enjoyed this the first time i used it. I love the packaging of it, and the color is fabulous! Most people don't like it on their lips but thats because you'rre supposed to put a clear or tinted lip gloss OVER it! I use rosebud salve over it and it does the trick. It's amazing and really brings out my eyes. It's a natural look and really very pretty.
