Blush -Bonne Bell - Gel Blush [DISCONTINUED]
britnay_77 8/13/2006 4:25:00 AM
This is definitely comparable to Benefit Benetint, and so much easier to blend. I love this under my foundation and have yet to find a colour more natural than the red, which does come out quite pink, but who blushes red anyway? This looks so natural and the teensy tube lasts a ridiculously long time. vedict: I can't believe I am saying this of bonne bell but my HG blush!!! Ok i said it... Update: I bought another tube today in sheer pink, and while the colour is very similar to sheer red, it is not as pigmented, sheer red is the same colour just more concentrated and therefore more economical:)

Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Lip Lites- Mocha Mousse

I love the taste of this also, which probably explains why it is gone after 2mins because I can't stop licking my lips *oops* I also love this colour and everything about it except lasting power which is little to none, sad:(

Lotions/ Creams -Johnson & Johnson - Holiday Skin Body Lotion
britnay_77 8/13/2006 4:15:00 AM
Wow I can't believe the bad reviews, sure this stuff has its downfalls but to me it is co much better than most fake tanners, I am very pale and so even I coat of most fake tans make me look orange/unpleasant, I noticed the colour from this the first time I used it (again prob. becaue I'm so pale) I really like it as a self tanner but as a 'moisturiser'? are they joking, need to apply moisturiser after using this because it dries my skin out so much, as for people getting rashes, i have not experienced this so I assume that my skin is not all that sensitive, but I do always wash it off after it has developed because of the *fake tan smell* so maybe that would help lessening the irritation factor. Ps. You probably don't care but 'Le Tan in Le Can' is the best, longest lasting fake tanner I have evr come across (pps. I live in Australia, not sure if this is available OS)

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse
britnay_77 8/13/2006 4:02:00 AM
I just bought this and I really like the whipped mousse texture. It makes your skin feel like velvet and has quite an impressive coverage without looking cakey. A very natural matte finish, not too matte. One gripe is that is does show up my flakies which is annonying, also if you have very oily skin the mattifying aspects to it will not last all day, touchups required. I like the tub (although its probably not that hygenic and does not contain alot) come to think of it the tub is stupid... but there's no other way because of its 'whipped' texture. The only reason I wouldn't buy it again is because I refuse to beleive that a 'perfect' foundation doesn't exist and I will never give up searching...ever

Lotions/ Creams -Palmers - Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula
britnay_77 8/12/2006 9:33:00 PM
I absolutely adore this moisturser, and because its so cheap you can smother it on with no fear of wastage. I must admit that at first I loved the smell but it can make me feel a bit light headed at times. As for reducng the appearance of stretch marks I don't thnk it even claims to do this, and it certainly doesn't, there are specal palmer's products which are aimed and reducing the appearance of stretch marks but this is not one of them, sorry to dssapont... But its a great moisturser. Update: I can't stand the smell anymore, people always sniff you when you go out, they say it smells nice but personally I don' really want someone smelling me from 10 metres away! Thus why I have removed 1 lippie

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub
britnay_77 8/12/2006 8:58:00 PM
Ok so its true this scrub is very grainy but if you are very gentle it can be effective for your face and then also used for feet, elbows etc. with vigour. Basically this is better as a body scrub and really good for exfoliating ankles elbows and knees before applying fake tan.

Eye Shadow -Anna Sui - Eye Shadow
britnay_77 8/11/2006 4:20:00 AM
I LOVE the fragrance in anna sui's eyeshadow, smells like roses. Initially I bought it for this reason, but the shadows have other pros too, like nice fine shimmer, lasting power and great wearable colours. I also LOVE the packaging. I must admit I am in lust with anna sui's products, this eyeshadow is really nice but quite honestly it is very similar to others out ther (MAC, Napoleon) The fragrance did not irritate my sensitive skin however and the rose scent make me swoon... *faint*

Moisturizers -Olay - Total Effects-Fragrance Free
britnay_77 8/11/2006 4:14:00 AM
Ok so for someone who really needs the anti-ageing effects - go ahead - this did make my skin a nice texture (smooth, reduced flakies) *HOWEVER* this broke my skin out, not very badly but still... and it is was too shiny on the skin, they advertise that this is perfect under m-up but it is not as it doesn't dry and if you apply m-up over it... let's just say not so good. If you have very pimple-free skin, actually need the anti-ageing benefits (SPF factor sunscreen would be better for younger skin) and are prepares to wear some translucent powder over the top, then yeah I reccomend it... to those few who can be bothered, personally I can't so will not repurchase.

Liquid -Cover Girl - TruBlend
britnay_77 8/11/2006 4:01:00 AM
Well for the colour match this really lives up to it's claim, this is the first foundation that has matched my extremely PPP skin (I have it in ivory) however after marvelling at this fact a teacher described me as looking 'scary'one day when I applied a particualrly heavy amount of this product. That kind of put me off it, but if I use this foundation very sheerly it gives the appearance of healthy natural skin, also if used spardely like this there is no need for translucent powder to cover the shininess sometimes experienced from using heavy coverage. If you have pale skin, then I can practically guarantee that TruBlend wil have you colour. Cons: can show up flakies, a bit oily if you use alot. Pros: pump pack really good! colour match (for pale to light tan only). I did not find this to break me out, although others did, and I have experienced breakouts from many other foundations (including Rimmel... arrrggghhh!!!)

Conditioner -John Frieda - Frizz-Ease - Glistening Creme Conditioner
britnay_77 8/11/2006 2:22:00 AM
I have very thick coarse hair and so decided to purchase this in the extra strength formula, I was expecting it to relieve me of my frizz to the extent that I could skip the hair dryer, I was wrong... I dried my hair naturally and it was just as frizzy and also greasier than usual. I guess this conditioner is ok if you dont have serious frizz/fluffiness hair problems but it didn't make my hair *sleek*, no hard feelings as I got this on sale for AU$5 anyway.

Skincare - Body -Bio Oil - All Products
britnay_77 8/4/2006 8:15:00 AM
I am a PPP with very acne prone yet quite dry skin and this oil has acted as a 2-in-1 solution to my problems! It conditions my skin really well and has definitely reduced the appearance of my acne scars. I lost this for a while and rediscovered it a few months ago, i started using it on my stretch marks and it has really reduced their colour (from red to white), this stuff is amazing and the bottle lasts ages (I have had mine for over 2 years!) I would highly recommend this for anyone with red scarring to help reduce the colour. And on top of all that you can just use it as a moisturising oil for your body. Really Lovely:)
