i must say, i dont like the smell! the one im reviewing belongs to my mum, she hardly ever uses it. however when we sit at the computer, we moisterize our hands with it, its not that great as a body moisterizer

Gels/Soaps -The Body Shop - Satsuma Shower Gel
annaamin 6/6/2006 5:07:00 AM
i must say i buy this for all my friends and for my mum, it is a definate winner for presents! there is one bottle in my shower and it smells very good. as a body wash it is nothing special, however it's unique smell sets it apart, it's a lovely bodywash, however i fing its easy to use alot of it at one go so ends up being more expensive than your average drugstore buys.

Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Born Lippy Lip Balm
annaamin 6/6/2006 5:04:00 AM
i wouldnt buy this again as it is not particularly good as either a moisturizer for lips or a pretty lipgloss. Nice smells, delicious smells, however thats all its got going for it really as it is expensive and not a great product. doesnt dry lips but does not moisterize very well either. only get it if you are more concerned with smell and colour than anything else.

Fragrances -Clinique - Happy
annaamin 6/4/2006 1:17:00 AM
i love this scent! its suitable for all ages i feel but its still so light and fresh. maybe ill buy it again however im looking forward to experimenting with new fragrances as i dont want to be stuck in a rut. edit: maybe i left this in the sun or something but my friend and i have both noticed that this has strated to smell kida off. like rotten fruit. we both use this scent regularly but i am regretting buying the biggest bottle of this as ive been using it for ages and have used less than half and i dont like it anymore. i have even resorted to using tommygirl which really isnt me but was given to me as a gift.i have ordered aquolinas pink sugar mini vial off the net in a desperate bid to find a new perfume. happy has unfortunately put me off florals and i think i will use up the last 50 ml on scenting my underwear drawer. ive taken lippies off.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
annaamin 6/4/2006 1:13:00 AM
im erring on whether i would buy this again as my needs change because my skin changes drastically depending on which medication I am taking or using for my acne, but for my combination skin it is a nice light moisturizer. yes it is pricey and has no spf but i have used it a lot. EDIT: I have come back to this after a couple of years because it is a light moisturizer with no added things that might irritate me. I was finding that a Neals Yard moisturizer was breaking me out, and this is actually cheaper and doesn't sting on my skin. I think I may be sticking to this from now on! I am surprised at the bad reviews.

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control
annaamin 6/1/2006 4:50:00 AM
i just keep buying this! its cheap, i personally love the smell and i use it as a body scrub as well as on my face. i was on roaccutane for acne and may i say NEVER USE A SCRUB IF U HAVE SERIOUS ACNE OR IF YOU ARE ON ACNE MEDICATION its actually the worst thing ever, the skin is just too sensitive! no wonder those people who used it with bad acne experienced negative sideaffects! from reading the other reviews, the people who love it are in my boat, theyve HAD serious acne but no longer and they use it to clean and exfoliate the skin. This is a wonder product! its got everything going for it! xox

Concealers -Bobbi Brown - Blemish Cover Stick
annaamin 6/1/2006 2:58:00 AM
quite drying, it was hard to get a smooth coverage and not the best for covering under eye circles (i like to have a multipurpose concealer) however when i had bad acne it was a good friend! buy it if it works for you, i wouldnt buy it again simply because my needs have changed, but for acne, its good

Powder -Clinique - Stay-matte sheer pressed powder - 17 Stay Golden
annaamin 6/1/2006 2:54:00 AM
this is probably my 2nd or 3rd powder clinique pressed powder and ill carry on buying it! it is not the best for mattifying however it has a great balance between dry and oily so it mattifys but doesnt leave me dry. The packaging is good and solid and its consistency is not at all chalky. Medium coverage, a good quality sponge, and i feel it's better value than the more expensive dior, chanel and elizabeth arden powders. v.good. xox

Lip Gloss -Anna Sui - Ring Rouge
annaamin 6/1/2006 2:49:00 AM
Most lipgloss rings look tacky, however this little number carries the signature black rose and looks beautiful on my hand, people compliment me on my ring then love it when they see whats inside! Its really useful to carry around your lippy on your hand especially if youve got a little handbag or no purse at all. The packaging is sturdy and well made. I purchased mine on strawberrynet where it was half price so i got the best deal ever! However it is quite expensive in full price, especially for the small amount you get (0.8 grams) however i will simply just fill the ring back up again with other lippy when theres no more left (it goes fast!) The texture of the actual lipgloss is quite thick but mine is a lovely shade (601) and it stays on for a long time. I must say though, i bought this totally for the packaging! Get one! xox
