I received this during my very first order from EM with their free sample kit. I love love love love love it. I have very fair skin and sometimes under eye concealors leave my skin looking too cakey because of the yellowish tint to them which is just plain ol' too dark for my skin tone. I love the aussie perk me up because it gives me a nice dewey glow without making me look too shiny or oily. I use it on the weekends when we go out for dinner to give me a radiant look. I really adore this product and when my sample runs out, I will be ordering another one.
I have also tried the other start to finish powder from EM and found that to work slightly better than this one. I just got it in the sample size to try out and to be honest, I like the look it gives my skin to set all my makeup, but then I feel like I have to reapply a small amount of blush, which is no big deal. It leaves a bit less of a powdery feel than the other setting powder, but other than controlling a small amount of shine and oil, doesnt really do too much. I will finsh my sample than try the foundation without it and compare, but for now, Im not in a hurry to buy it again.
I visit the website frequently and saw this new shadow for spring and couldn't resist. I like the products from EM and thought I would try this color. It is very shimmery and is nice alone for a gentle sweep of springy color. Im sure you could incorporate this into a bolder look if you wanted, but this was not my intention when purchasing this. It was easy to apply and wasn't too harsh for my very fair skin. Looks nice with a bit of blush and a light pink lip.
Liquid -Cover Girl - TRUblend Liquid Makeup (12/2007 reformulation)

I bought this a while back when it first came out and really liked it and had used it all the time. For some reason or another I tried another foundation and began wearing that more and more until I forgot about this covergirl one. When I saw it in the store and the new commercials I got it again and was sooo disappointed in the new formula. I thought the old was really quite good for the price and the amount of coverage it gave me, but when I tried this new one, it seems lighter in coverage and I think it even costs more, but I could be wrong. It leaves me shiny (and I already have oily skin, so yuck) and i would not pick this up again.
Foundations -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Mineral Foundation
adhesivelove 3/21/2009 5:18:00 PM
I received this free as a 2 pack when I bought Rimmels primer that a girl off of youtube used underneath her everyday minerals makeup. When I saw that you could either get the liquid foundation or powder free with the primer, I decided on the mineral powder because i knew the liquid was too dark for my fair skin. I have not used the foundation powder because, again, this is not a fair color, it is waaaaay too yellow for me. I tried using it as a contour instead of bronzer or a darker color.. but in the sunlight it appeared way too yellow even for that. It is also very very sparkely, almost glittery and that isnt a look Im going for. Maybe I can use it as a concealer or something, like a backup, or maybe even a shadow.. idk.. i would never buy this and probably wouldnt have looked twice at it if i didnt get it free anyways. edited to add : Of I forgot one of the biggest letdowns. the application! You're supposed to use this sifter that is fitted to the top like a asponge applicator. Seems ridiculous to me and very little product comes out, So you have to take the top off and then its a big messy mess. 2 thumbs down for the designers of this product.
I have done another review about this line. I absolutely hated it. Not worth the $12 or so I spent on it at all. Left me oily and broken out, and I did not like the way my makeup looked or went on while using this lotion.
I have tried 2 produtcs from this line and I disliked both of them. Nothing but hype in my opinion and I will not be buying anymore facial items from garnier.
Hair Color -L'Oreal - Couleur Experte -hair dye / highlight

I have used this 2x and in 2 defferent colors. The first one I used was the darkest shade and my "highlights" ended up blonde even when allowing them to sit for the estimated time on the box instructions. It wasnt a big deal to me, but if someone wanted a slight highlight, leaving them on for 5 minutes should have worked. lol The 2nd color I tried was slightly lighter than my color and when rinsed out it actually turned my hair 2 shades darker! Completely different than the box color. It looked nice, but again the highlights turned out way lighter than the box indicated. I always follow the instructions to a "t", but twice this color has not turned out the way I felt that it should have and as advertised. Now with that said, I actually liked my results. I would have liked to see how the indicated color would have turned out, but nonetheless, the colors I got were nice and I wouldnt mind trying again if they are on sale or I have a coupon or something. ps. I usually use feria to and I always get great results.
Conditioner -L'Oreal - EverPure Moisture Conditioner

I know I have read some poor reviews on this, but I actually like this line. I do agree that for some reason the smooth is better, but I have no complaints. I got mine as a set on clearance at walmart for a $1.50 but would buy this again. I think it leaves my hair smooth and its not heavy feeling like some conditioners, rinses clean away and i love the minty scent.
I received 2 polishes (mini size) for free from Ulta in a set. I tried one tonight, very cute color.. neutral and light "goddess". A gold with a pinky peachy shine to it. The color itself is nice if you want something not so flashy or bright. I put it on about 3 hours ago and has already chipped! I then decided to put my never fail revlon top coat on and the color just doesnt shine as nicely as I would have thought and hoped. I like it cause it was free, but would not repurchase this. I am thinking that this will continue to chip very easily.
I did not have a lot of neutrals, so when this came out at target I was really excited. SOOO expensive though. I picked it up and was very impressed. I know I read some reviews about the smokey pallette, but this magic was nice. the tiny brush that comes with it is actually pretty nice. When I first got it, I was using it all the time. Very shimmery and lots of neutral browns and 2 highlighters.. I liked it and will use this alot.
I have this in the quad that I got free from ulta. I really like this eyeshadow. Its so light and delicate.. very feminine. Its a very peachy color with a tad gold hue to it. I usually wear this with silk for just a tad color and a nice blush like ulta's afterglow and a really nice pink gloss like bliss.. I have just started getting into the ulta brand and have found it pretty good. This is by far my favorite product I have from their line and would def. get this again in full size when it runs out.
This is very similar to a neutrogena eyeshadow I have that had also came with a lighter color in it. I bought this because I wanted a darker purple with some glimmer to it. Its nice and works well. The only problem I have is that in the ad (and on the ulta site) this color was alot more pink/red than purple. It was okay, and it will last me a while, but probably would look for a different true purple/plum in a different color.
I also got this free in an ulta collection. its a full size blush and its really quite cute with the flower in it. Its very bright and makes my skin just glow. I usually wear this with the eyeshadow quad it came with (silk seashell sunburst and suede) and it looks amazing. but be careful! sometimes i tend to put a little too much on my brush and it can get super bright.. so a little goes a long way.

For a buck, who can go wrong with this color? Its super bright and I cant see wearing it everyday, but def. a nice color to play around with.
