I LOVE this color. Also, the formula was perfect. It was smooth, creamy, and non streaky. After a day with this, I added Essie's Matte About You topcoat and it looked really cool.

I don't know why this has so many bad reviews. I have big eyes, so the big brush is great and gives my lashes lots of volume and length. I've been asked if I have fake lashes when I wear this. I love it.

Polishes -Essie - Great Expectations

This was a hot streaky mess. The color was great, but it took 3 coats of color and 1 coat of Seche Vite to not be sheer. It was thin and messy to apply, but once I cleaned it up it looked nice. It's a universally flattering light grey creme with a lavender tint and subtle shimmer in some lights.

Great color. It is a smoked out violet best suited to warm skin tones. It applied smoothly and is super shiny. Love love love and it is in my top 20.

Polishes -Essie - Lacquered Up

I love this color. It is a bright tomato red. It is very sexy and flashy, and it was flattering on my pale, yellow skin tone. The polish was thick and opaque in 1 coat, but I added another for good measure. I followed with Seche Vite for shine and fast drying. Be sure to use a good base coat to avoid staining.

This is a great French manicure color. It is the same color as my natural nails, and it makes them look super polished. I use Marshmallow by Essie for the white tips and my nails look great.

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

In the dark ages before buying Seche Vite, I would paint a layer of base coat, wait until it dried, paint a coat of color, let it dry for 10 minutes, then another coat, let it dry for 10 minutes, then topcoat, and waited a few hours before doing anything with my nails, but I would still manage to get nicks, bubbles, and sheet prints. With this, I paint on my color and base coat without letting it dry, then I wait a few seconds, when the polish is still wet, and apply the Seche Vite. No bubbles, no nicks, no sheet prints. 10 minutes after top coat, I went to bed and woke up with unblemished nails. I frequently paint my nails so I will definitely be buying this again.

My skin was oily until I started using Clinique, but my skin was still shiny. I don't need a lot of coverage, and this gets rid of the shine and makes my skin look smooth. I like it.
