I purchased this after smelling it at Nordstrom's. I really liked it and since its my husbands name I thought it was perfect. Unfortunately, after wearing it for bit. The incense or spicy notes were just too much for me. I cant wear this one. On me the gardenia really doesnt come out. I prefer Marc Jacobs as a gardenia scent. I am sure this scent works for alot of people. Its just not for me.

I actually think this is a pretty scent. I did smell a peppery note I think. Nothing that gets in the way. The only reason I wont purchase this one is it doesnt last on me. Its gone in less than an hour. I really think that if they could come up with a lighter scent that lasts they would have something great. On me none of these newer fresher light scents stick around. Layered or not. Its just not happening for me. Give it a try. I think this may do better on younger women too. I really wouldnt say not to wear something based on your age.But I think that some scents do lend themselves toward different age groups.

I know there are some that can wear this with great results. I cant do it. Its just way too much for me. It smells too strong and the notes just are overwheming to me. I dont care for this one at all. I would say try it for yourself. Not on a piece of ribbon or paper on the skin.

I just cant do this one. Its way to floral and heady for me. Headache all the way for me. I dont like the bottle at all either.

I like the scent of this. I love gardenias. I am lucky enough to live wear they grow and they are so wonderful. The scent of them wafting as the breeze blows is just intoxicating. I think this scent is a nice version of the flower but is a bit too heady for me to wear. I cant do it. Try as I might I end up with a headache. I know there are alot of comparisons between this and Michael. I prefer this one. Michael while nice comes across my spicy and has some type of masculine note in it. At least on me it does. I would say try this one if you like white florals. The only way to know if you can wear it is to try it on your skin. Overall I think its a lovely fragrance. Oh..another note to make..its much better gardenia than SJP Lovely too.

No surprise that this one is such a big hit. The bottle and cap are lovely. It comes in so many sizes and is really reasonably priced as far as fragrances go. I like it alot. It smells good on me in general. There is a note that comes out that I cant describe that I am not always crazy about. Its a very warm scent. I dont find that it lasts long enough on me at all. I really dont care for the bath products in this one. I am not really crazy about the idea that I have actually noticed others wearing this while out and about. I think its so popular that for me in my forties I wont wear it all the time. I have a bottle that I will keep to use on occasion perhaps. But this is not unique or special enough for me to wear all the time. If you dont mind that its popular. I would say try it and go for it. Its very easy to wear and men love it. Plus..since its available so easily people can always get it for you as gifts.

Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Beyond Paradise

While I do like alot of Lauder scents. This one is just a no go. It is too light and on me has some sort of sour note. I really dont care for the bottle at all. It looks pretty but its not very practical to use. I just dont like this fragrance. Try for yourself .

I want to love this scent. But to me its just fall flat. I agree that the packaging is very pretty and feminine which I really like. I almost purchased this one..so glad I walked around in the mall a bit before doing so. It just became very faint and no descript on me. I would say as with all scents you have to try it on yourself. For me this one is just not interesting enough. Its also not inexpensive.

I just dont care for this one on me. I am sure its lovely with some peoples chemistry. To me it smells like almond extract. I really dont care for this. I was a big fan of the original Poison when it came out. I really wish these companies would stop naming all of their fragrances the same. Lauder has done this over and over. Lancome..all of them. Its not a good idea as these scents are nothing alike.

Fragrances -Philosophy - Amazing Grace cologne

Okay..I love this fragrance. Its so light and fresh. Just perfect for an everyday easy to wear scent. I have purchased it in every product that philosophy offers it in. No kidding. But it just does not last. I have the roll on oil and the new EDP..still gone. I so wanted to keep this as my all the time scent. But its not working out for me. I just cant see paying good money for something that no ones notices. I cant even notice it. While I may still use the 3-1 bath gel..I need to give up on this as a fragrance. I know it does work for other people and I am so jealous of that ! I would say you have to put this one on and live in it to see if it will stay with you.

Fragrances -Philosophy - Falling in Love

This is the only lasting scent that Philosophy makes. While I did think it was a pretty scent at first smell. Its just too sweet for my taste. I cant deal with that smell all day. For me it will give me a headache. I think I probably could use the 3-1 Bath Gel of this but that it. I know its very popular and I think thats great. I really like alot of Philosophy products. This scent is not offensive of too much just not my thing. If its working for you...great. They keep coming out with more products in this scent also. I do not get the popularity of this one. I barely smell anything after this is applied. It just doesnt last and to me doesnt have any complex notes at all. I am sure it may be different for some people. But for me this is nothing but a marketing machine. I dont care for the bottle. Since fragrance is so personal I do realize that it just could be my chemistry or sense of smell. So you have to try it for yourself. I will say this might be a good scent for a very young lady looking for her first real perfume.

I know this one is all over the map as far as reviews are concerned. Those who love it and those who love to bash it. I will just say that for me its headache inducing. It comes across so chemical smelling. I just cant do it. I am not sure that I should either since I am 41. Maybe its for someone younger and thats great. I will say. Dont let any review decide for you. If something smells great on you and you like it. Then go for it. Life is too short to not enjoy things.

Okay..I will totally admit that I was drawn to this one because of its gorgeous packaging. The bottles in this line are just adorable. Sadly, I cant wear this fragrance. I dont know why but there is some sort of licorice smell that comes across one me. Maybe its anise or anisette. Not sure but it doesnt work on me. I do wish more companies would go out of their way to make unique bottles that are still very user friendly like these.

I dont know why I cant seem to smell any of the notes that others do with this one. To me it was just a very heavy harsh scent. I dont get any of the yummy notes that are always mentioned with this scent. It think the bottle is unique. The name is great. I personally wouldnt care for the bottle to use everyday. I suppose I prefer a more traditional bottle. I dont get all the hype about this one. I just cant use it.
