Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara
xcocox 12/6/2002 4:30:00 AM
[Packaging]
It comes in a blue tube and silver cap (i think). It's the same no fuss packaging of drugstore brand (think L'Oreal puts in more effort in the design of the mascaras)
[Quality]
As like most, it comes in the wet formula. I tried this in BLack & Dark Brown. As a washable formula, i think it's rather good but of cuz it still smears for those with oily skin, tears easily or uses contact lens solution frequently like me. It does build decent length with 2-3 coats, clump-free but first wipe with tissue.
[Overall] a cheap product that does delivers. To my opinion, Maybelline makes the best mascara when u compare prices with quality but the waterproof formula is my fav! [Latest Updates] i'm in a dilemma. frankly, i uses masacara on a daily basis and for that, i do not want my lashes to suffer for the daily regime of removing tough waterproof mascara off them (all that tugging & all. i know i should be gentle but inevitably i'll cause some 'damage'). in addition, i'm too lazy to use a oil-base remover prior to my face wash. Yet, i will prefer a functioning waterproof mascara so as to last through the whole day. sigh. frankly, i haven't found one yet. but other than waterproof. this mascara to me is the best. it allows me to build up volume (not much of curl) yet remain soft. no funky smell either. can be cheap (slightly off $10 if you buy it when there's sale discount at watsons, etc.)

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Cool Effects Liner/Shadow
xcocox 12/6/2002 4:23:00 AM
[Packaging]
I bought the one in the pencil form in COOL CAT or sthg similar as it has a dual function- liner & shadow in one.
[Quality]
But it's too fat for a eyeliner so i guess i'll skip that fuction. As for the e/shadow, it's a shimmery cream thats very pretty but another than so, that's nothing fanastic about it. The cream lead breaks easily when i sharpen it!
[Overall] a very average product, nohing fanastic. not worth the $$$

Blush -Maybelline - Cool Effects Blush
xcocox 12/6/2002 4:00:00 AM
[Packaging]
Comes in a bottle form, like a nail polish style. Flimsy brush applicator that’s doesn't really helps much.
[Quality]
Watery blusher that dries fast, and feels matt. Thus might have streaks if don't blend fast enough. Tested once on my cheek and the colour didn't really show except the subtle shimmers. think it will be a better highlighter than blusher as it's pretty high on the shimmers.
[Overall] Don't think will buy/swap again, only an average product, there's lotsa other similar stuffs out there. Ladies, skip this product!

Cleansers -Garnier - Synergie Pure Deep Pore Wash
xcocox 12/5/2002 8:34:00 PM
It's known as Pure Unblock Foam in Asia, and the three Granier Lines, namely Pure, Light & Stop have just been introduced about a few months ago and still relative new in the market.
[Packaging]
the foam comes in the normal, easy to squeeze plastic tube (worth your every $$$ b’cuz u get every bit of it when u cut the tube open when it's finishing).
[Quality]
It foams to rich latter and the micro beads are a great addition. I only use it for a few days but my face feels clean and refreshed after using but not taut. My face seems to stay more matt or shine-free longer. Love the scent too!
[Overall] But I have combination skin: normal with oily t-zone and sensitive region too so I’m worried that the foam may be too harsh for me in the long run. Otherwise, i feel that this may be a good buy as it's relatively cheap and performs well!
LATEST UPDATES: this is one of the best drugstrore cleanser. it really cleanses my face well, i never feel so much fresher but a pity it doesn't stop or prevent the pimples frm popping back.. i went back to my ettuais range but kept this for ocasion wake-me-up wash in the morning!

Blush -Maybelline - Pure Blush [DISCONTINUED]
xcocox 12/5/2002 8:17:00 PM
I bought one in Pure Peach when it’s first launched but believed it’s discontinued product, which is a shame! =(
[Packaging]
The blusher comes in a dome shape packaging in plastic with a screw-on cap, which sometimes can stuck (minus marks!). There’s no applicator included. You are supposed to use it directly n you cheeks and blend. Alternatively, a better choice is to use a cheek brush and blend in well recommended!
[Quality]
The blusher is well pigmented with finely milled powder. A little goes a long way! Caution not to wet the blusher as it will create this impermeable layer that needs to be scraped off (wastage!).
[Overall] Love this, will probably use it for a long long time except that I dropped mine & it broke into many pieces! Will probably swap for more!
