I like how this smells like--peach. It is a pinkish-peach gel that comes in a tube. A little drop lathers really well. The skin is moisturized after a bath, but you get the feeling that not all the product is washed off. If you're okay with that after-bath experience, this is a good shower gel. The scent stays on the skin for quite some time after using.

Eye Makeup Remover -Estee Lauder - Take It Away LongWear Eye and Lip Makeup Remover

Not too oily and feels light on the eyes. Doesn't sting badly. I would say this is a notch below Shiseido's The Skincare eye and lip remover. The thing unique about this is the liquid isn't separated into oil and water. From the clear bottle, the formula is just a light green liquid (not sure if this is caused by the light green bottle). I catch myself stopping from shaking the bottle every time because I'm so used to seeing eye and lip removers with oil. This doesn't sting eyes. Removes heavy eye and lip makeup easily. A good product.

Skincare - Face -Estee Lauder - Take It Away total make up remover

This is an okay makeup remover. The packaging is convenient with a pump that can be turned left and right to make sure product doesn't spill out accidentally. The light green cream looks great, and smells like cucumber. Sometimes it gives me a stinging sensation so I guess it is not the right cleanser for me. It doesn't clean as well as RMK cleansing oil with heavy makeup on. Overall, I find it overpriced for the quality.

Lotions/ Creams -L'Occitane - Amande Firming & Smoothing Milk Concentrate

This almond body lotion is very smooth in texture and divine in scent. I like how it feels on the skin on colder months; however, it can be a pain during warm days because it makes skin sticky (even with a small amount) and the smell is amplified (not in a good way). On the other hand, I have never encountered a body lotion in such a light and soft consistency. The other reviewer was right to compare it to whipped cream. This alone makes it a winner. To top that off, it really smooths the skin (as long as the weather's not too hot, else it just sits on skin, or worse, slides off). I don't know if it really firms the skin because I don't use it every day. This is like a special occasion lotion : ) The packaging can be unhygienic (in a glass tub with twist on aluminum cap), but as long as you don't share with others, I think it is fine.

Treatments (Eye) -Kiehls - Ultra Moisturizing Eye Stick SPF 30 [DISCONTINUED]

My obsession with sun protection drew me to kiehl's spf30 eye stick. It comes in a convenient twist up tube. Another great thing is its not-too-greasy texture. After a week, however, I found it tedious to apply every morning. I found that I prefer a sunblock for the whole face. Reserving this for beach trips!

Lotions/ Creams -Kiehls - Creme de Corps Lightweight SPF 30

This felt really good on my skin. Nourish is the word. With SPF 30 UVA+UVB protection. What more can I ask for from a body lotion? This is exactly why I bought the product. This would have been perfect, but the coconut smell got into me after two days and I realized no matter how great this product is, the scent is not for me. If you don't mind the smell of coconut, this is a good buy for a two-in-one moisturizer and sunblock.

Highlighters -Origins - Halo Effect

Review for Pink Potion (01) shade. This is a liquid highlighter with a slightly pink undertone. The shimmers are fine and tasteful and not loud at all. It can be used alone to highlight any part of the eyes, cheeks, or mixed with foundation for glow. The packaging is a small glass bottle with a twist on cap. I find it hard to estimate the amount of product coming out, which is tricky. It is also better to shake the bottle before using so the glitter is evenly distributed. Adds a touch of femininity for evening parties. I would not recommend this with powder foundation though, for it causes the base to cake. It is better layered over cream or liquid foundation. Set loose powder after applying Halo Effect, not before to prevent caking. Despite the packaging, I would buy again because of its versatility.

Eye Shadow -Shiseido - Hydro Powder Eyeshadow in Glistening Sand H9

This is not beige as the name suggests. It is a warm white that's great for making eyes look livelier. Layered thinly, it is a great daytime highlighter. It can be built up easily too for a more shimmery nighttime look. The texture is superior--it is creamy cool to the touch and is so easy to blend! Finishes as velvety shadow (never dry and crease-y). It doesn't smudge or run. And if that's not enough, it looks just as fresh as when I put it on in the morning as when I take it off after a whole day out. Comes in a pot that looks like it will last an eternity. A sponge applicator in its own black casing is included with this eyeshadow. (6g)

Eyeliner -Kanebo - Lunasol Pencil Eye Liner (02 Brown)

I bought this mainly for the color. It is a medium coffee brown shade that is not too dark, nor too light. It can be used for as an every day liner without being overbearing. On the other end of the holder is a stiff brush used for shading. I find it too firm to use. The staying power is not so great; with a little rubbing the color goes off. The holder is sold separately from the pencil. Once inserted into the holder, the pencil can be twisted up and down as desired. I wish it comes with a cap to cover the pencil though. I'll repurchase so long as I don't find a similar color with better staying power.

Blush -Shiseido - Accentuating Color Stick in S5 Rosy Flush

This is a bright reddish headturner pink. I love this because the shade is cute and knowing for daytime, wild and mature for nighttime. As with Peach Flush, it is pigmented and easy to blend. Enlivens the face! (10g)

This is a bright peach glow that says "I'm healthy!" I like it because it is versatile and pigmented. The color makes the whole face light up. Perfect for summer days and acceptable for nights out too. A small dab goes a long way. The creamy texture makes it easy to apply using fingertips. (10g)

Loose Powders -Kanebo - Lunasol Micro Finish Powder N (01 Translucent)

This is my first loose powder, so I do not have others to compare this with. It is packaged with a perforated plastic separator and a powder puff. The puff is very soft and kind to the skin. Mainly, I use it to gently press (not glide) the powder onto my skin for an even finish. The powder is very finely milled. Many makeup products claim to make skin silky. So far, this is the only product I've used that does it. I am able to run my fingers on my face and feel the powder's smoothness. It also diminishes pores effectively. Contains minuscule shimmers. By the end of the day, I notice this powder makes my skin glow naturally. Spectacular. (20g)

Concealers -Kanebo - Under Eyes Base (00 Light Beige)

I don't like this. It doesn't matter that it lives up to its highlighting claims, it doesn't cover circles at all! It even dries out my undereye skin even after moisturizing with BB under eye cream. Moreover, it is so hard to apply because of its runny consistency; it won't sit on skin. I keep spreading and spreading until the product goes everywhere (down my cheeks and sides of eyes) and when I'm done, it does nothing but make me look like a disaster. I'm not sure if it is because of my amateur makeup skills, but a good brand like Kanebo should come up with easier-to-apply makeup that yields results! Will not repurchase. (7g)

Eye Primer -Kanebo - Lunasol Eyelid Base

I love the creamy texture. It is easy to glide on the eyelid and creates brightness for dull lids. It contains skin-caring ingredients which make it more enjoyable to use. It is supposed to make eye makeup adhere longer, and I find this claim to be true. Paired with Shiseido Hydro Powder Eyeshadow, my eye makeup stays put the whole day. Sometimes, this is the only eye makeup I use. I use this as an undereye concealer too sometimes (gulp!) It doesn't dry skin! (2.2g)
