Lotions/ Creams -Neutrogena - Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

I have super-sensitive skin, and many so-called hypoallergenic hand lotions aren't. This stuff is the best - you only need to use a very little, and it's great for travel because you can use it as cuticle cream, body lotion and if you're really in a pinch, it can work as conditioner (in teensy amounts on very dry hair). (It works as lip balm, but I don't like the taste.)When it came out 12 or 13 years ago, I found it a godsend and while I don't use it exclusively any more, it's definitely my go-to product. Goes on a little slippery, but absorbs very well. I love this stuff!

Styling Products -L'Oreal - Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Serum

I have dry, wavy hair, and it really helps tame the winter frizzies. I kind of liked the John Frieda serum, but the fire warnings scared me. Plus, it's very expensive for what you get. This is a little less strong than the Frieda, but I find I like it much better, and you can't beat the price!

Toners -Neutrogena - Alcohol-Free Toner

I'm really disappointed with this - usually Neutrogena stuff is great. This stuff stings, smells chemically, and is almost as bad for my skin as using straight rubbing alcohol. I'm having much better luck with The Body Shop's Tea Tree Line on the oily part of my combo skin.

Masks -The Body Shop - Tree tea oil nose pore mask
rated 4 of 5

I have combo skin, and it works great at pulling gunk out of my poor old nose pores and it doesn't irriatate the dry skin on my cheeks. My nose does get a bit red for a few minutes after the mask is taken off, but it goes away quite quickly. Peel off slowly, though! The texture's a lot like Elmer's Glue!

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Peppermint Foot Lotion

I love the smell and color of the lotion. It's very moisturizing. It does take a while to soak in, but I feel the effects much longer - I don't need to reapply as much. I like it on my elbows, and I use tiny amounts for a hand cream as well. Wonderful stuff!

Treatments -The Body Shop - Vitamin E Cuticle Stick
rated 5 of 5

I love it! It's a bit pricy, but a little goes a long way. Especially good on the days when nails are dry and brittle. And its small, slim shape make it very portable. Someday I will have one in every purse!

Treatments -Sally Hansen - Cuticle Massage Cream with Apricot Extract
rated 4 of 5

The cream is quite hard at first, but softens up nicely. It was the first cuticle softener I started using, and I still turn to it when the hangnails are especially ruff 'n' tuff. I prefer Body Shop Almond cream, but it's expensive. So, I alternate with this and it works very nicely.
