Mascara -Clinique - Naturally Glossy Mascara

This mascara does nothing for me. I have straight lashes, which I curl well using eyelash curler. Normally, it stays curled when I put mascara on, but with this one it goes straight within mins. It gives no volume at all, so it does not clump. Only thing this mascara does is make your lashes glossy just like its name. In my opinion, for this mascara to do its job, you have to have full & beautiful lashes to begin with. Otherwise it will do nothing for you except make your lashes glossy, which will eccentuate them. I don't have full & beautiful lashes, so this mascara is no match for me.

Lipstick -Clinique - Almost Lipstick - Black Honey

I don't care for this lipstick. I have a light warm skintone and this lipstick gives my lips a raspberrish tint that is rather darker than I want. The name says it all, it is almost a lipstick, but not quite. It's more pigmented than lipgloss, but goes on lighter than the lipstick. It gives a glossy finish. This has the consistency and texture that I just don't care for. I don't care for the in-between look this lipstick gives me....

Misc Beauty Tools -Clean & Clear - Oil Absorbing Sheets

I have used many blotting papers and by far this one is one of my favorite. This one is not actually a paper. It is a film. It is a absolute must have for me at all times. When I do a touch- up, I use this to blot grease off of my face and then lightly powder my face. If I don't have much time, then I just use this to freshen up my face. It's important to blot your face before each touch-up before putting any powder on. If you just powder away your shine, powder does tend to cake up on your face over time. This should be a must have item for most of us excluding people with extremely dry skin. I just wish it was bit cheaper b/c I use this a lot and it adds up.... :P

Lip Gloss -Lancome - Lancome Juicy Tubes

I had two of these: Miracle and Dreamsicle. I gave Miracle to my little sister and I have Dreamsicle. I have it, but don't reach for it much. I don't find this to be much different from other high end lipglosses. I think price is resonable for the size it comes in. This is just average lipgloss with nice shine and medium stickiness. After two of these, I don't think I will buy it again.

Fragrances -Clinique - Happy

I never have bought this fragrance in full size, but received many deluxe size samples from Clinique counter. When I first sampled Happy, I just fell in love with it. However, after testing out one GWP bottle and a body smoother, now this scent does not appeal to me anymore. I no longer like this scent. It's definitely not for me.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

Like many reviewers, I strongly dislike this product. I have never bought this product myself, eventhough I use Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2, which is one of the three step system. I used to have very oily skin, but now I am older my skin is more combo. This lotion didn't work for me then and it does not work for me now. It's greasy and cause breakouts. Clinique does include this item as part of their GWP religiously, so I constantly have these around. I use many Clinique products and liked them a lot, but I do not like this product at all. B/c I have so many, I tried to use it as a hand lotion for my extremely dry hands, but it just felt greasy and didn't absorb well, so I just stopped using it all together.

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque

I honestly don't know what took me so long to try this mask. Thanks to MUA, I love this mask! If it wasn't for MUA, I would have never tried it. Thanks to its packaging, this great mask does not stand out from other products. You literally have to look carefully to find it. I bought it from Ulta and paid $3.99 for big tube. So, I won't be complaining too much about its packaging. I use it every other nite and it's been about a week and a half that I have been using this mask. I notice less breakouts and my pores are much smaller now than prior to using this mask. I never knew my pores can get smaller. Thus far, I am very pleased with this mask, so I will be continuing with my every other nite 20 min ritual. The instruction tells you to leave the mask on for 15 mins, but I keep it on for 5 more mins. I don't have hardening prob like some other MUAers have experienced. I just keep it in the bathroom and its soft when I spread it onto my face. A definite repurchase item!

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara

Yes....like many MUAers, I bought this mascara time after time hoping that it will make my lashes look great one day, but that day never came.... I don't know what makes us to go out and buy it again and again knowing that it's simply not that great like its name & hype. That's probably b/c we keep seeing it on magazines and hear how great it is, so we think if all the MU artists love it so much? then maybe its our fault, we must be doing something wrong. Therefore, we go out and buy it time after time hoping that we get it right this time, but honestly we just have to face the fact and stop spending $$ on this. This is an okay mascara, but not that great. I've read it somewhere that this mascara is being sold every couple seconds despite the fact majority of us don't like it. Okay..., out of curiosity buy it once, but then don't buy it anymore if it didn't work out for you. Move on! Personally, this does darken my lashes and that's about it. Definitely does not give me any volume nor lengthen my lashes. Also, when I use this mascara, I have to have Q-Tip handy at all times b/c it gives me racoon eyes. Will not buy it again!

Powder -Cover Girl - Fresh complexion oil control makeup (powder foundation)

I bought this powder foundation on sale for really cheap $$ and I was surprised how good the coverage was. I liked it better than the MAC studio fix. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong shade, so it was little bit darker than my skintone. Next time, I'll buy one shade lighter. The package is bit cheap looking, but cute in its own way. Only thing, I didn't like was its inability to control shine and that's the reason why I took out a lippie. I would definitely buy this again.

Powder -MAC - Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

I bought this after hearing so much about it. Although I did like how it controlled my oily skin pretty well, I didn't see anything else special about it. Unfortunately when I was half way done, I dropped it and completely broke it. Oh, well.... I didn't love it, so I wasn't too sad about it. I wouldn't buy this again....

After seeing this blush on one of the cover models for some magazine, which I can't remember right now, I just had to try it. I bought Rose Silk. I liked the color, but it's way to shimmery for me. It also broke me out. This is going to be my first and last time that I'd be using Cheekers Blush.

After seeing this blush on one of the cover models for some magazine, which I can't remember right now, I just had to try it. I liked the color, but it's way to shimmery for me. It also broke me out. This is going to be my first and last time I'd be using Cheekers Blush.

Blush -Maybelline - Blush in Beach Club Coral

I heard all the buzz about this blush and i was on a hunt to find it. I searched couple of drugstores to find this shade. As usual, I didn't like the cheap-looking and not-very-functional packaging, but taking $$ into consideration, I can't really complain too much. I don't remember if it came with a brush, but I only use my own blush brush anyways so quality of brush it comes with didn't matter to me. I took out a lippie b/c the powder fly away too much. I'm not sure if that make sense to you, but it's everywhere. I love the color. It shows up as shimmery coral with tint of pink in it. It gives me a healthy glow.

Lip Liners -New York Color - Lip Liner Pencil

I looooove this lipliner. This is my HG lipliner. The color I use is 954A. This goes with almost every l/s & l/g I have. Before this, I have been using Chanel Precision Lip Definer and let me tell you, this is totally better. Sure, it doesn't come with a brush nor a pencil sharpner, by the way I love that pencil sharpner, but this is a truly amazing lipliner. One day, I was at Walmart and just picked this up for no apparent reason. It was under $1, so I was like okay if I like it's great if not that's great too. When I came home, I put this away and totally forgot about it. Then when I was done with my Chanel, I remembered that I had this put away. I tried it and fell in love with it. After I was done with the first one I went back to get more and it was out of stock. I got totally upset..... These days, whenever I can get hands on these, I buy like 10.

Lip Gloss -New York Color - Brush-On Lip Glaze

I have this in Beautiful and Adorable. Beautiful is a shimmery nude and Adorable looks bright red in the tube, but it gives my lips sheer red glossy finish. This is a great lip glaze and it's dirt cheap.
