Lipstick -Mary Kay - Signature lipstick in Downtown Brown

nice color but I have to agree, all the MK lipsticks are too dry. They stay in place yes, but when I actually feel uncomfortable wearing them, then I think there are probably better options.

Lipstick -Mary Kay - Mocha Freeze

Not a good color for me. I am always surprised at how many people wear this and pull it off. I look like a cross between Grace Jones and a corpse in this. I wish it were easier to wear the stuff that looks good on everyone, because a lot of times it looks like crap on me. I have a skin tone that is not pale, or dark, so I guess that must be why. I am a weird tweener...

I like the scent. I got mine in a 2 sided lip gloss and perfume and love how easy it is to carry around. Super convenient. I would neevr have picked out the scent myself, but love it in this combo, because it is a great "pick me up" scent. When I am feeling like the days is wearing on me, and I need to refresh quickly, I can pull this out, dab on gloss and slide on a little cologne and feel renewed. Probably would not buy it in the bottle alone, though.

Lip Gloss -Elizabeth Arden - Curious by Britney Spears Two Tempting lipgloss and fragrance wand duo

I bought 2 of these at Marchalls for 5 dollars a piece. I have never worn this scent, but smelled it before and was not offended, so I just bought them. Here is why. This is a much younger cologne than I would normally wear. I am not young, by any means, but I am pretty active. I have 2 other combos like this one from Mary Kay and one from Avon. I love them. Just the convenience of being able to carry a treat for your lips and cologne makes it worth it. Would I have payed full price, nah. But whoever designs these needs to make more of them for big girls in grown up scents. We like convenience too!! I do like the Mary Kay one best of all but this one is a close second, because I do not like the Avon scent I got this in. 5 lippies again and again for 2 sided wands!!

The only thing I know is that I vividly remember liking this when it came out, probably around my freshman year in highschool. I had a tiny bottle, but wore Liz and Colors as well. Ok, that dates me pretty well. Anyway, a girl I used to sit by in class would BATHE in this. By the end of the year, I would back away when I saw her coming and I had already thrown out my tiny bottle. I would be ok if I never smelled it again. I took a whiff years later in a store of a tester...same thing happened..."yep, that's Cheryl"

Will never buy this, as I spent my middle school years in this like everyone else I went to school with. This and Colors by Benneton. I actually know someone who still wears this. 15-20 years later, and she still wears it. How unadventurous and sad:( It kind of makes me sick to smell it now, but there are a lot of other things that smell much , no MUCH worse, so I will just say "the 80s" that is what this smells like to me.

Fragrances -Bond No.9 - Chelsea Flowers

Not impressed. You should probably hop into any store and do a sniff test on the 20-50 dollar stuff before you commit to more than 100 for this stuff. I know, I know ,the bottles are lovely, the packaging is gorgeous, the samples are darling and the name is to die for. Still, buy something they (Bond) make that is a little more unique and you would be glad.

This is masculine. I tried it and though I do not like it at all on me, I guess it would be alright on a man. Not mine, though, as I have other things I would prefer him to wear-with a lot lower price tag. Not impressed. I think it is green, but not as fresh of a green, a pretty woody one.

I did not get the whole sweet thing...I only smelled incense. Cheap incense. I could not stnad this and have not even used the sample I got because then I would have to stomach wearing this a few more times.

Skincare - Body -Garden Botanika - Mango Aromatics items

Used to love the Mango at GB. I remember years ago using the bath gel and my dad would go into the bathroom when I was done and talk about how great it smelled in there. He is hardley impressed by any scent, so I knew this one must be as good as I thought!:) I bought the whole line, but I relaly liked it in the shower and lotion more than anything else, since I prefer a cologne over body sprays.

OH, I miss this stuff! I cannot buy it around me, but I used to love the smell. Our GB closed and I have not been into one since then, but I used to use this a lot and LOVED it. Super creamy lotion, nice shower gels, the SMELL....so yummy!

Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Born Lippy - Satsuma Shimmer Lip Balm
djgirl1976 5/4/2006 11:10:00 AM
My least favorite of the line, I still like this stuff. I am hooked on the balms, so I tried this one on a buy one get one or whatever. I will be sticking to passion fruit and watermelon in the future, mostly because I like the tints of those petter, and the passionfruit flavor is my favorite.

Lip Gloss -The Body Shop - Born Lippy in Watermelon
djgirl1976 5/4/2006 11:07:00 AM
Love these...they are the best lip balms I have found. Surprised that so many people say these dry them out as they are about the only balm I have found that is NOT drying. I love the scent and tint to this, too. Even when I am not trying, it is like adding a little bit of "pretty" by just putting on a balm.

I am on my second or third of these. Love this stuff. Consistency is great. Soft and moist feeling, not at all sticky or tacky or tough. And this flavor is by far the greatest. Actually, they used to have an Apricot flavor a long time ago that I loved more, ubt this is a great replacement.

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - MegaSlicks Lip Gloss in #568 Bronze Berry
djgirl1976 5/4/2006 11:00:00 AM
I cannot get past the SICKENING smell of this stuff. When I put it on I cringed. It is a nice color, but the stuff honestly made me nauseated. No joke. It is a weird cucumber-melony smell that is SUPER STRONG, and I was only able to identify what I was smelling after reading a few reviews. The only thing I was thinking before that was poison. Not sure what poison tastes like, but I am pretty sure this is close. It is ok, for being so cheap, but spend an extra buck or two on Rimmel or something like that would be my advice. The color is not all that unique. You can find similar in most any line.
