Skincare - Body -Yves Rocher - Monoi De Tahiti Gardenia Oil

This is something that I was keeping repurchasing year after year. So in love with the scent and it makes my skin so soft. But I donīt use it on my face, only body and I put some in my hair from to time or in a bathtub. And honestly: The older version was better. So much better. It sucks that they changed the formula as it even stays liquid when itīs colder. Iīd still repurchase it though but Iīm already looking for an alternative which doesnīt contain mineral oil or paraben but still smells so divine.
This is an "ok" powder, but frankly there are betterones outthere. The included brush... my gosh the brush is poor quality, so hard and arrgh... nice of Maybelline, that they include a brush but I use my own. The powder itself is transculent but it doesnīt last very long and doesnīt seal the BB cream or foundation evenly. Even the lightest shade didnīt fit exactly but it was an "ok" match. As I said: all in all nothing special and you donīt miss anything if you skip this but itīs really not that ultra-bad, didnīt broke me out or caused irritations and if you take a little time on blending you an achieve an ok result. But for me itīs not enough, as I donīt want to spend 10 minutes just to make this work and in my opinion there are better drugstore mineralpowders outthere (LīOréal for example)..
I used this during the whole summer for my body only. So this review is only about that, as I used my BB creams with high SPF for the face. What I like about this sunscreen very much is that it doesnīt leave white traces. But it does make the skin a bit shiny and takes a few minutes until it completely sinks into the skin. I like the slight "medicated" smell of this and even at 35 C° and without many reapplications it protected my skin so well, I didnīt get a sunburn even once. This sunscreen deserves all 5 lippies, as it kept my super-sunallergic skin free from damage and red freckles.
Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

I remeber this very well, I used it when I was 16, my first foundation, which my mom bought me. It had a pump back then but let me tell you it was a pain to blend this, as even the lightest shade was too dark, so I had give this up, though I really liked the results and I needed some touch-ups after 6 hours or so but I guess my skin was much oilier back then and it would preform better now, but the shade-issue didnīt change, so I wont repurchase this. But all in all this is a really good drugstore-product and if you can find a shade that fits you - go for it!
Adorable pink case! And Iīm so in love with baby petal, as it preforms great as a highlighter on my below-NC15 complexion. The colours are not too pigmented (except for purple/casette, which is very pigmented) so you can also go for a sheer look or add a layer or two for a more intense colour and they blend like a dream. The staying power is very good too. This palette is very versatile, as I can use pink/v.i.p. and pale rose/baby petal as a day make-up and if I add purple/casette I can even create nice smokey eyes for the evening, so I definitely enjoy using this. :)
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Hemp Hand Protector

If you suffer from very dry skin and feel like nothing helps, you should give this a try. Yes, it smells a bit funky and makes you smell like a pot smoking hippie (yes, I said it :D) but it works wonders on cracked skin. A friend of mine gave me this as a birthday present with the sentence "look, you can also use this plant in a cream" (yay, Iīm a hippie or something, but look how she cares for me, at least she gave me legal present :D) and Iīm very glad she did. I know itīs on the pricier side but it really helps and you donīt need to reapply it 100 times to keep the moisture. One time is enough and your tube will last very long.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Coconut Body Butter

Iīm using this as a "handcream" and itīs always in my purse as soon as the autum begins. Itīs really moisturizing and the scent.. oh my gosh the scent... if you love coconut you will want to eat this hehehe I prefer using this during the autum and winter as it makes me feel warm (thinking about the beach, sun, pina coladas...). My sister gave this to me last year as a birthday present (dunno.. lots of people give me beauty kits for birthday.. seems to be known that I like cosmetics, so you will read lots of my reviews beginning with "my *enter name or a relative* gave me this for birthday") with a coconut shower gel and theres still lots of product left so this lasts very long (the shower gel was empty really fast hehehe).
I got this in a small kit as a birthdaypresent from a friend of mine. To my disappointment this smells like a dishwasher to me. It left my hair clean but also very dried out and I have cheaper silicone free shampoos that preformed much better. Anyway, it cleans the hair and body well, but Iīm really not that fond of the smell.
Iīve been using this concealer for a while now so I think itīs time for a review. I choosed the lightest shade and still found it a tiny bit too yellow but as itīs blendable, you donīt see the difference so Iīm pretty satisfied with the shade. The formula is a bit drying which is good for my very oily skin if I have a pimple to conceal, but I have to make sure to moisturize my dry eye-area really well, when Iīm concealing my dark circles. The package is simple but pretty. A dark purple stick, not from cheap plastic, so you feel some weight in your hand with the white "Lavshuca" lettering and a beautifull engraved emblem on top of the cap. Iīd repurchase this though this lasts forever, so Iīm fine for a while.
Fa is one of few deodorants, that didnīt cause irritations on my skin. Iīve been using "pink paradise" for over 3 years now. However, a friend of mine told me recently not to buy deodorants that contain Aluminium Chlorid, as this can cause breast-cancer. Saddly most deodorants contain aluminium chlorid, so itīs not gonna be that easy to find one :/
Cleansers -Nivea - Nivea Visage Lait Démaquillant Douceur

Unfortunatelly I have to give this 3 stars as it doesnīt pick up make-up very well. But it smells great, itīs super cheap, doesnīt cause irritations, even in the super-sensitive eye-area and the formula is very hydrating. Iīll change to cleasing oils as cleansing milks arenīt efficient enough for me, but if you have very sensitive or dry skin and donīt wear waterproof make-up - try this, it really preforms well on that area :)
Shampoo -L'Oreal - Nutri Gloss for medium to long hair thats damaged

This one one of the last European shampoos I tried before I switched to japanese ones. I like the colour of the bottle and the scent and it did make my hair shiny BUT, and here comes a bunch of cons, also very heavy and my scalp got oily and greasy after only a day, which usually happens like after 2-3 days. Also my scalp was very itchy, but I contunued to use this for one week, as I first thought I might not have rinsed off properly. But honestly, the situation didnīt improve after a week, so this product just didnīt work for me (and yes, I rinsed off properly ;) ) and Iīm glad for you ladies who are happy with this.
Le petit Marseillais - Douche Crčme Extra Doux Lait de Vanille is is my favourite shower cream and itīs produced by the french label "Le petit Marseillais" and I donīt know how many times I repurchased this already. You can get it for around 3.50 Swiss Francs here, so itīs really cheap and it smells divine. Itīs not just boring vanilla, it also has a slight milky scent in it and the formula is very hydrating. The scent lingers for a long time and I highly recommend this to all vanilla-lovers. Check this brand out, as they have a bunch of cute and yummy stuff for affordable prices and their homepage is also very sweet.
Fragrances -Van Cleef & Arpels - Les Saisons - Printemps (spring)

Crikey... this fragrance is definitely too fresh and sour for my taste, but thatīs not the reason Iīm giving it only 1 lippy. I donīt know what they put in this but as soon as it reaches my nose I start to sneeze like there is no tomorrow. Seriously, usually it happens that I get skin irritations from a frangrance, when I apply it, but thisone was fine for the skin. I never had a fragrance, where I had to sneeze all the time from it like in this case. The good thing is that this fragrance is not very known and there is very few who wear it but believe me, when someone is wearing it (like my mom f. e.) my nose will notice it by sneezing :D
I used to like thisone very much, but unfortunatelly it got discounted in Switzerland, dunno about the States :/ Very nice summer fragrance but it happens easily to get sick of it, if you overdo it, so less is more for sure. =)
