A nice pink berry colour. I'm south asian and it suits my yellow based skin tone. Very bright and natural. The felt tip pen applicator kind of sucks because it dries out really quickly and after only a few uses, like a marker. It's not as nice as my lip and cheek stain from Sephora, which is only 2 dollars more.
I'm a yellow toned south asian woman and the grenada colour (a deep berry) is really lovely on me. One of my all time favourite colours. Very moisturizing and wearable, with a lot of colour. More like a sheer lipstick actually than a balm but it has lots of lovely moisturizing natural ingredients which make it good for lips. One of my makeup essentials.
G12 - Charming violet This is a really lovely, deep burgundy colour and looks very wet and luscious and deeply coloured when freshly applied. However in 2 hours, even if you are not touching it or doing anything with your lips, it wears off and leaves your lips looking naked but bright pinkish. Gross! Be prepared to frequently apply this or don't bother wearing it. Another thing to note is that this lipstick has a really beautiful flowery berry edible smell. In general though, I think there's little colour and a lot of oily filler in this, which is why the colour wears off so fast. You could get similar results mixing a cheap opaque drugstore lipstick with lip balm or a little vaseline.

Lipstick -Revlon - Super Lustrous in Kiss Me Coral

I'm south asian with a yellow based skin tone and I don't know what I was thinking! This coral looks really cheap and gross on my light brown skin tone. This colour only suits very pale people, and even then I can see it being hard to pull off. It doesn't suit women with yellow skin tones or a bit of colour unless it is applied very, very lightly with a lip brush, and even then it's a bit tricky. The consistency of the lipstick is a bit waxy and opaque. It lasts a pretty long time unless you rub it off. It has a run of the mill consistency, nothing special.
Clinique butter shines in general have a lovely consistency and have a fresh, wet lustre on the lips. This color is a little bland and blah for me though. I wouldn't recommend it to medium brown south asians or those with yellow based skin tones. I think it suits women who are very fair, or very dark, and if you're in between it's sorta blah.

Love this colour. I'm south asian and it really suits my yellow based skintone. The colour is very plummy, juicy and vibrant looking. It glides on with a slightly wet looking lustre. This is my favorite lip product ever, and I have a ton of lip products.
Liquid -MAC - Mineralize Satinfinish SPF 15 Foundation [DISCONTINUED]

Don't buy this if you have oily skin! Coverage is poor, yet it feels heavy and looks obvious, mask-like and oily. I got a total disco ball face and looked really cheap. My face looks better without it. I bought it because MAC has such a good reputation for women of colour, but this foundation is really gross. Makeup is not worth wearing if it makes you look worse! This foundation is expensive too, so it's difficult for me to just chuck it in the garbage bin. A total waste. Drugstore products that cost 1/3 of the price put this foundation to shame.
