Received this as a gift. Beautiful product, softens my lips so nicely. Very easy to use and good packaging. The balm is also good, not sticky at all, creates a natural glossy look and helps to condition my lips quite nicely. Beautiful! If I run out would repurchase. It is expensive though, $25 for mask and balm together.
I have to second everything that smrtblnd said before me. The packaging is hard to open, causing the shadow wand to fly up/out when you finally do get the package open! I tried on the trio and asked my sister what she thought, she said I looked tired and sick. I have brown hair, blue eyes. The colors honestly made my eyes look sunken and tired. I had to laugh though! Anyway, luckily Target allowed me to return it. Thank goodness!
I buy this in black/brown, and it's one I always go back to, because I really like that it doesn't make my eyelashes feel layered, flakey, or fake. The formula feels conditioning, very smooth on the lashes. It's not extremely dramatic, but it does make lashes thicker (does not curl them or lengthen them). I'm still looking for that perfect mascara, one which curls, lengthens, and thickens, but until I find the Holy Grail of mascaras, this does a nice job for me. It's about $6, and though I've seen people mention a problem with the shape of the brush, it's easy to use after a few times using it. A good conditioning/thickening formula overall.
I'm just starting to wear MAC and I LOVE this color. I thought it looked too bright, but it's beautiful. Goes well when blended with So There Jade. I can't say enough good things about MAC. Great color!!
Gorgeous shimmery, light green color!! Goes well blended with MAC's Minted for a gorgeous aqua/sea-like color. I am just trying MAC and most makeups for the first time, and I LOVE it!! Beautiful color. Update: this is defininitely a gorgeous color, BUT, since this review I found that it just doesn't look great with my blue eyes. Would look great on brown eyes, though, and it's very long-lasting. I ended up switching this color for bountiful brown at a MAC store. I still think this is a great eyeliner, so I'll change the 5 rating to a 4 (only b/c it didn't work with my eyecolor).
I'm just starting to wear makeup, and I have been reading all the MAC reviews and felt I needed to try some MAC myself.I never thought of wearing purple (my eyes are blue), but the MAC artist recommended it and I have to say it makes my eyes stand out so well!!I bought a few other MAC eyeliners and now I'm a MAC girl for life!!YEY!Icon eyes is a pretty dark purple/black eyeliner.
