This is as much a treatment as a toner. It contains skin repairing ingredients and antioxidants.If you're using moisturisers and serums also containing these ingredients i don't feel it's absolutely necessary in a toner as well.Still this is a great toner, glides on, dosen't feel rough on skin. Also feels slightly moisturising.Fragrance free.All in all a great toner.

Cleansers -Simple - Kind to Skin Refreshing Wash Gel

I love this. Very gentle, a little goes a long way, fragrance free, and dirt cheap. Dosen't leave skin dry or tight.It's not a foaming cleanser, but dosen't claim to be.I've used the simple kind to skin moisturising face wash for years and only bought this because my local store had run out of my usual one. This gel is every bit as good. A face wash is something I grudge paying a lot for as it's on and off the skin in minutes, so I tend to shop for cheap effective face washes and this is certainly one of them.

Liquid -MAC - Matchmaster SPF 15 Foundation

This is one of the best I've tried. I use it in 1.5 which the mac girl picked for me. When I started to put it on it looked awful like yellow, but when blended in it's fine, lives up to its "matchmaster" name. I have no problems with this oxidising at all.Good at controlling oilies as well, as well as any I've found anyway.My previous favourite was the revlon colorstay which I still like, but what I hate about colorstay is it's a devil to remove. The Mac one reoves easier.Matchmaster looks very natural on, almost like you're not wearing much make up. I wouldn't say it is full coverage, best with colorstay for that. But this is a very good foundation. a little pricey but worth it.Wouldn't recommend for dry skin though.

This has alcohol denat in it, the worst type of alcohol for skin. This is not recommended for any skin type and will not purchase again

This is nothing special, just look at the ingredients. I used it for a long time but it wasn't really doing anything rather than make my skin feel soft. There are far better serums out there, olay regenerist for one.I remember when this came out, you couldn't get it in boots because testing at Manchester university said this actually worked.It's the retinol in it that's supposed to do the trick. However lots of products contain retinol.What boots didn't tell you however, was that they PAID man university to do the survey. Says it all really.

I love this as a night cream but personally I wouldn't use it as a mask.It's really nothing like a mask. It's very hydrating and is a super moisturiser.

Moisturizers -Estee Lauder - Daywear Cream SPF15

I received this with a purchase of two or more products but I would never buy this. It's fragranced(fragrance is not skin care) it contains dye,it's packed in a jar so any beneficial ingredients ie antioxidants vitamins etc, will break down in the presence of air not to mention dipping your fingers in the jar, clean or not still spreads bacteria.The smell lingered on my face all day. Fragrance free skin care that's the way to go.I'd far rather smell raw ingredients than have these harmful perfumes in my face creams.Perfume and alcohol in skin care causes a lot of damage . All I can say in this creams favour is Estee Lauder got the sunscreen part right. It protects with stabilised avabenzone. Apart from that this cream is overpriced rubbish.

I bought this as I love the night version. However this is totally lacking in UVA protection so skin is vulnerabIe to sun damage. Unless a product contains titanium dioxide. zinc oxide or stabilised avabenzone, it will not protect againstUVA damage. These are the rays that age skin, UVB burn. SPF only applies to UVB rays.There is a lot of confusion with spf creams. Just because it says spf 15 or 30 is does not mean you are protected from UVA rays, only b so higher isn't always better.I wouldn't buy this again. I liked the fact that it's non greasy like the night version, but there are plenty creams that offer broad spectrum protection and this isn't one of them. I get frustrated when I read "spf 15 isn't enough to protect skin."Actually it is. Far better spf 15 with both uva and b protection than spf 100 which offers no UVA!!! While I was using this I had to apply a broad spectrum sunscreen on top.Waste of time and money will not repurchase.

Cleansers -Boots - Expert Sensitive Cleansing & Toning Wipes

Buy these wipes. They are fantastic. Everthing I've been looking for in a wipe. Fragrance free, alcohol free, no unnecessary irritants. These wipes can be used and no rinsing is required. Sometimes rinsing IS required with wipes because addtives can be irritating, but theses are as perfect as it gets and I've used about every wipe out there.I use wipes to remove my make up , then I use a face wash. On lazy days at night when I've no make up on these can be used alone.Dirt cheap as well especially when boots have on 3 for 2.Here in the UK these are now known as simply sensitive but they're the same wipes.I used to like trying different wipes but now I won't buy anything else. Highly recommended, really if anyone knows of any better I would love to know that's how highly I rate these wipes.

Just start buy saying that this product is now known as SIMPLY sensitive but it's the same stuff. This is excellent. It is a foam, very gentle although it foams up well and gives a good wash. I use this as my morning cleanser as it is mild. I wouldn't recommend it to remove make up.but to be honest I always use a seperate make up remover when I'm wearing make up then use a face wash.This is great stuff, it really is suitable for sensitive skin as it contains no irritants.Non drying, fragrance free,alcohol free, dirt cheap especially when boots have buy 2 get one free on, what more could you ask for.Highly recommended.

Lipstick -Rimmel - Moisture Renew - Nude Delight

This is a lovely nude lipstick. It's got a slight peach tinge to it but nothing too obvious. It's not matte its very slightly glossy, again not obvious. I bought the mac creme d'nude and was really dissapointed. It's too dry, the Rimmel one's better.The Rimmel nude is far more moisturising because it has a slight gloss. Mac's nude is just dry.Packaging is really nice, bright purple. The only downside to this lipstick is it can have a funny taste and smell as other reviewers have mentioned, that's why I gave it a 4. It dosen't bother me that much but I can see why it might with some people. But this is a lovely lipstick, best nude I've tried.

Eye Shadow -Revlon - ColorStay 16 Hour Eye Shadow

I could have written the review below. Only difference I bought "Attitude " to replace "in the buff" quad and am so dissapointed. "In the buff" had a slight shimmer which I loved but this has glitter which I hate. Ok the glitter's not that obvious but it's there.I even had glitter on my cheek the other day.There is one colour in the quad that's not too bad but it's chalky.Not a good move Revlon!!

Mascara -Clarins - Wonder Perfect mascara

I had a sample of this and I really liked it. Lovely black colour . It also made my lashes look thicker and longer. What makes me reluctant to go and buy this is sometimes when you purchase the full size it just doen't seem the same.The same thing happened with the Estee Lauder Sumptous. Don't know if anyone else has had this experience.

Cleansers -Clinique - Rinse-off foaming cleanser

first off all this is not a make up remover, it's a cleanser.maybe some people use it to wash off mascara etc, but it's not what the products designed to do.A lot of products get bad reviews because their not being used for their intended purposes.This is a very goood cleanser and a little goes a long way.A pea sized amount does my whole face and neck , it's very concentrated.The thing about this cleanser is that I wouldn't use it twice a day, it's too strong. i like this at night when I've had sunscreen on or after I've removed my make up with a suiatble make up remover.I wouldn't use it in the morning , use something gentler. Used a few times a week i feel this is really beneficial to skin.It gives agood clean and I don't feel it leaves behind a residue at all. Just make sure as always to rinse properly.Love the fact this is fragrance free.If you use this sensibly it's a good product, use too often and it could be drying I've just learned to make this work for me. might not suit everyone.And last but by no means least. There is absolutely NO NEED to follow this with another cleanser as suggested by clinique.Absolute nonsense!!

Eye Shadow -Revlon - Colorstay 12 Hours Single Hazelnut

This is my favourite eyeshadow ever!! It's a lovely fawny brown, and no, it's not a highly pigmented product but that's what I like about it.Will not crease, lives up to it's colorstay name.Just a lovely daytime eyeshadow. I have brown eyes, but i imagine this would suit most people. It's really an eyeshadow for "the no make up" make up look. This may not be what everyone buys it for but for me it's perfect.I cannot praise this product highly enough. I've just ordered another two off of e bay. I will really start panicking when i can no longer get this!! If you have this and find it a bit bland, try livening it up with a darker colour in the socket and some eyeliner. i don't see how you can lose with this unless you're into really deep colours which this oviously isn't when you buy it. Also this is a definite matte with no sparkle or shimmer whatsoever. Great for the mature eye.The colour may not be dense but it DOES last.
