Gross taste!!! I bought one in the shade Heather, which was a beautiful colour. I literally could not wear it because of the horrible taste! After having it on for only a few minutes, I had to completely remove it. I have never experienced this with any other lipsticks or lipglosses. Anyone who can wear this must not have taste buds. I read the ingredients and it says "fragrance". Its like they must have added actual perfume instead of flavouring appropriate for a lip product, as the lipstick tastes like you are drinking perfume or eating scented soap. I have a couple of the NYX Jumbo Lip Pencils and they are fine, but they do not have "fragrance" listed in the ingredients (I checked).
Oh, Expensive Pink, you looked so beautiful in the pan. Why do you have to look completely ridiculous on me? You are way too bright and coral, with dare I say a hint of unflattering orange, against my cool toned fair skin. Sigh, we were not meant to be.
I recently got a sample from Sephora. I did an experiment. I put my UD Primer Potion on one eye, and Too Faced Shadow Insurance on the other. There was no difference in the vibrancy or intensity of the eyeshadow. At the end of the day, the UD eye was slightly creased and the Too Faced eye looked exactly the same as it did when I applied. When my UD runs out, I will be purchasing the Too Faced.
What I love about this is the very fine tipped applicator. I have always found liquid liners difficult to apply, but this pen makes it so easy. Its literally like using a fine-tipped Sharpie. I can achieve a very thin and precise line. I have sensitive skin, and Almay's gentle, fragrance free makeup has never irritated my skin.
I have a few NYX eyeliner pencils and they are excellent quality for the price. Velvet is a beautiful, slightly shimmery, light golden brown. Looks fantastic on the waterline. Being very fair skinned, I prefer lighter eyeliners, as black can look too harsh. Velvet is very pretty and natural looking. Also - it doesnt budge! Very long wearing. Velvet is very similar to MAC's Powersurge, although Velvet is more gold and is slightly lighter.
Ugh! Goopy & difficult to apply. The longer I had it, the thickier and goopier it got. If you want a more natural looking highlighter or a subtle glow, this is not it. It looks like you've applied a thick shiny pink coating of something or other over your skin. I have many other Benefit products that I love, but this one is a fail.

I couldnt wear false eyelashes because I have a latex sensitivity. I am so happy about this latex free adhesive! I love the applicator. Its so easy to get a small amount of the glue on the lashes. I did not notice any smell (not sure what some of the other reviewers are talking about). The glue dried perfectly clear. I wore the eyelashes all night and they didnt budge, but they were also super easy to remove. I have very sensitive skin and it didnt bother me at all. I have nothing bad to say about it!
I have been searching for a good undereye concealer and after reading about this one, thought I would give it a try. I bought the lightest shade, which I think is "light". I was hoping for a concealer that was not drying or cakey and didnt settle into the few little fine lines I have. Pros: This isnt drying. The texture is almost sticky. A little definitely goes a long way! I only use a tiny amount so the tube will last a long time. Cons: It can settle into lines a little. It doesnt provide as much coverage as I would like. It is so sticky that if I wear mascara, I have to set it with powder, which can contributes to the dry, cakey effect I am trying to avoid. Overall I think its okay, but I am still searching for the perfect concealer, and I dont think this one is it for me.
I love this pallette! Finally an entire pallette of matte eyeshadows. If you love matte, this is for you. The shadows are so smooth and creamy, and very pigmented. For only 9 shadows you also get a nice variety of colours: browns, blues, purple, pink, white, and black. There are some very wearable daytime colours, and a few dramatic colours for a darker smokey eye too. I love London Fog, a dark navy blue.
Loose Powders -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Loose Powder

I am finding my skin drier and switched to a tinted moisturizer. I wanted a very lightweight, sheer powder to go over it, just to set it and keep me from getting a little shiny as the day goes on. The Sephora sales girl recommended this. I bought the small size (0.17 oz) to try out. I am not really happy with the finish, especially not for the price, and I don't find it has much staying power. I also find it drying. I do not notice any difference when I'm wearing it other than my skin feels drier. Would not repurchase. UPDATE: what this powder works awesome for is setting undereye concealer. With a light dusting, it is really invisible and doesnt settle into any fine lines. I find if I dont set my concealer, some of my mascara transfers. This works well to prevent that. However, I dont use it all over my face. Not sure if its worth the price just for that though, but since I use such a small amount, I wont need to repurchase anytime soon.
Although the quality of the eyeshadow is great (very pigmented, creamy, blendable) overall this pallette is way to glittery! I was hoping for shades I could wear everyday that would look natural, but most of these eyeshadows I would not wear to work. I personally do not think metallic or glittery is daytime appropriate. I only wear them when I'm going out in the evening. Also, they are all very warm toned. I would have preferred some more matte finishes and cooler tones.
I have repurchased this 2 or 3 times now. It really is the perfect shade of blush. It looks so natural. Its great quality and fairly long wearing. I have the matching lipgloss in orgasm too.
I have fair skin and this gives my cheeks a natural, flushed glow. I have repurchased this twice. Wear it under foundation for a really natural look. I don't like to use it on my lips, but great for cheeks!
