Fragrances -Montale - Sweet Oriental Dream

I Love Sweet Oriental Dream (sure to become a signature scent of mine:). For me personally this beats out Keiko Mecheri(Original) as far as Loukhoum scents go, though Keiko is still really beautiful. Something about SOD is just.....better. To me it's heavier and sweeter. Some people don't like strong, sweet, thick and cloying type fragrances but i lllooove them lol. Yes ..it does have a powdery note but not as pronounced as Keiko. It's more so on the sweet "foody" gourmand side........veeery sweet actually, so make sure you sample first. The rose jam and almond notes come through nicely. I do smell alot of honey and vanilla as well. The sweet and floral dynamic here is just lovely. It's a very interesting and unique fragrance that will grab attention. If Valentines day had a scent, it would smell like Sweet Oriental Dream Now i feel like going out and getting a rose saffron icecream cone :) UPDATE: Oh yeah. This is at the top of the list for me. My #1 Signature scent! It's funny..i should have known the whole time. My man has consistently picked this fragrance out as his favorite on me through many sampling tests that i've put him through lol. I just can't get enough of this deliciously wonderful perfume.

I really adore this little gem of a fragrance. It's an excellent take on turkish delight even though i believe Montales "Sweet Oriental Dream" to be a bit better. This still has major Yum appeal. Floral and Gourmand all mixed up into one bottle..oh my. It's so soft, sweet, and feminine. It does have a major powder note in there somewhere which makes it more so, a "cuddle" scent :) Yet some people don't dig that, so beware. I would say, the type of fragrance that you would wear if you want that special someone to come closer. I would imagine men loving this on a lady. It's a very dreamy and romantic fragrance♥

Lip Treatments -Korres - Guava Lip Butter

I adore all the Korres lip butters. This one may be my favorite though. It smells so delicious. Kinda like a pinacolada slushie. It will leave your lips looking a tiny bit pale at first, but then it kinda just fades away within' a couple of minutes. It moisturizes really well without leaving your lips looking too shiny, which is a major plus for me. I loooove getting new lip balms and butters but Korres lip butters are the only moisturizers that i use up until the container is clean :) And that's saying alot. No doubt, i would highly recommend. The price point is good for such a great and "natural" lip moisturizer.

Lipstick -NARS - Fire Down Below
rated 5 of 5

This is basically my signature red. It's a very vampy, deep, blood red that i absolutely adore. If your shy when it comes to bold dark colors on your peckers, i would not order this without seeing and or trying it on in person first. I personally can go year round with it, though it is a stellar shade for the fall winter months. And as a heads up, this lipstick does have a pretty matte consistency, so if you don't like mattes..i wouldn't recommend. To me, mattes are just so sexy...love love love me some matte lipsticks ;} But yeah....very sophisticado of a color. I Love It.

Staple oils. So glad that i can finally find them in bulk sizes. I use these oils mostly to keep my hair moisturized and smelling nice....to add shine ...daily scalp massages... to oil my hair before shampooing ect.. I also use as a moisturizer on my body too. Great stuff. I love all the scents, my favorites being the original and the vanilla. The original is very sweet with a hint of floral and the vanilla is super sweet...very yummy and rich. They're all pretty strong in the scent department (buyer beware). The smell will mellow out a bit but will still last on your hair so, if your not into strong scents then i would stick to plain coconut oil.

Toners -Bliss Labs - Daily detoxifying facial toner
rated 2 of 5
Khiandra 6/16/2010 1:22:00 PM

This toner was pretty bad. The consistency is way to thick. It will leave a gross film on your skin. Will not leave you feeling fresh nor detoxed afterward. I used it a couple of times and just gave it away. It didn't cause any breakouts...which is the only good thing about it. It smells ok i guess, if your into citrus scents. I don't recommend. There are better toners on the market for sure.

Toners -Decleor - Tonifying Lotion
rated 5 of 5
Khiandra 6/15/2010 9:16:00 PM

I've been using this toner for about 3 years and it is my hg toner. I've tried many different brands of toner and this has been the best for my skin. It's also the only toner that doesn't irritate my skin or clog my pores. It really does balance the skin out. Keeps the moisture neutral. It also keeps me from getting randome blemishes. When i stop using this i can tell the difference because my skin starts to look a little dull. The scent is fairly nice. It has a herbal/floral type scent. The consistency is thin. Doesn't leave behind a sticky or grimmy feeling after you've used it. I actually use as a face cleanser every morning and most evenings, and always after cleansing milk. The original bottle has since had a makeover, which is great. The old bottle sucks. I really do love this product and highly recommend. Wish it wasen't so expensive.

Toners -Pevonia Botanica - RS2 Gentle Lotion
rated 3 of 5
Khiandra 6/15/2010 5:11:00 PM

This a really good toner for sensitive skin. I think this was a little to mild for me. I use toner as a cleanser every morning and most evenings and i feel that this doesn't do a better job than my usual decleor for cleansing purposes. I don't think this cleanses that well at all actually. When i use this consistently i notice that the pores on my nose get clogged up faster than when im using my usual toner. I have to de-gunk more often when i use this. Yet, still I think this is an ok product though. I could see people using this if they are dealing with skin irritations or in the winter time. Good stuff but i wouldn't repurchase.

Shampoo -LUSH - Curly Wurly
rated 1 of 5
Khiandra 6/15/2010 4:00:00 PM

This product just sucks. lol. It really does. It doesn't smell good at all. It has a fake coconut scent. It looks really weird and has coconut peices in it. It's intended for curly hair so why would you put particles on the inside? I don't understand the thought process behind that. I don't understand the packaging either? It's hard to not get water in the container. I used this a couple of times and each time my hair was left really dry. I have super long 3b-3c curls and it took me forever to rinse all the coconut particles out of my hair. Uh. I used the rest of the product up as body wash. I will not repurchase. Way better cleansing products out there for curly hair.

Treatments -Decleor - Aromessence Ylang Ylang Night Balm
rated 3 of 5
Khiandra 6/11/2010 1:02:00 AM

So this balm is supposed to help purify the skin when it's congested and or going threw a spell of breakouts. Hmm. For me it did none of what it's claimed to do. I didn't expect much in the ways of purification looking at the ingredients list. Come on now..beeswax, shea butter, corn oil, aaaand carnauba wax? Purification..not hardly. Moisturization..sure. Marketing magic..you be the judge. For me, this is just a decent product to boost moisture when my skin is feeling dry and tight or after a little facial....as a lip balm or hand salve. I can't use it on my face for more than two days straight without seeing a couple of little clogged pores here and there. It does smell nice but it's way overpriced for what it is. I think people just get excited about the price tag and convince themselves of how great it is. I will not repurchase. I will finish this off as a pre-cleansing face massage balm then just stick to my Secret de Geiko by Chidoriya .

Treatments -Nuxe - Creme Nirvanesque (for all skin types)
rated 2 of 5
Khiandra 6/11/2010 12:33:00 AM

My skin became super clogged after about 4 days use. I had high hopes. I think it's a little to potent/ thick for my skin. I get congested very easy. Even though my experience wasen't the best, I think it's a superior moisturizer compared to those chemically laced one's that are out there. One thing i really hate about this stuff is how strong the scent is. Geez. It gave me a bit of a headache. If your not into floral scents, or are sensitive to fragrant products..you might not like this. It is moisturizing but doesn't sink in that great. It will leave a little sheen behind. I won't be re-purchasing. Oh, and the packaging is very boaring.

Lip Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Suvana- Paw Paw and Honey Certified Organic Lip Balm
rated 5 of 5
Khiandra 6/9/2010 12:56:00 AM

I adore this balm. All the best stuff seems to come from Australia and Japan. Darn. This is one of my all time favorite balms (It actually does moisturize and is Organic!). I use it on my hands, randome dry spots, and lips..of course. I love how it comes in a big tube and consists of natural ingredients. No nasties like petrolatum. The consistency is thick and soft but if it's in a hot enviroment it will get runny. It smells nice (a mild cocoa scent) and is the color of honey. It hurts to order this due to the shipping cost but for me, it's worth it. I order from BareNakedBeauty.com.au

Skincare - Body -Unlisted Brand - Egyptian Magic Healing Cream
rated 4 of 5
Khiandra 6/9/2010 12:37:00 AM

First off...i don't understand why anyone would want to put this on their face?? I would only consider this on the face if i was having an exzema attack or something. I only use this for my hands, lips, and if i have really dry itchy spots on my body. It works pretty good to keep those areas soft and moisturized. I don't know if this is totally worth the price tag knowing how i could whip up my own balm for way less money. It's ok. The texture is really soft. It rubs in smooth but leaves a bit of an oily/greasy feel. I don't really like that kind of texture on my lips but it's alright if i miss place my lip balm or something. It smells kinda bad also. Like i stated before, i do use this as a hand cream and it is great for that purpose. I'm all about hand care (favorite part of my body =) but i don't know if it's better than my Suvana Paw Paw Balm....i think Paw Paw has this beat, especially smell wise. It's alright but i highly doubt i would re-purchase. Maybe if the price went down. UPDATE: I'm bumping this up to 4 lippies. Idk..something about it just.....works. Im just addicted to multi purpose balms and this is still really good. It still works great as a hand moisturizer and also as a great decollete cream at night. I think i will continue to purchase after all for wrinkle busting purposes =)

Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - MyHoney Child Honeynutt Conditioner
rated 4 of 5
Khiandra 6/8/2010 7:27:00 PM

I've actually never used this as a rinse out conditioner but as a leave in, it's nice. I love the sweet scent. It's really moisturizing. Actually leaves my hair super shiny. You wouldn't think it could do much moisturizing due to the watery consistency, but it packs a punch. Not sure i would repurchase. I could probably just make it myself.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - MYHoney Child Honey Hair Mask

I Love this hair mask. Up there with Jessicurl but nowhere near Curljunkie yet still really good. This stuff smells so yummtastic. Nice and sweet. I like that it's not super thick and greasy like some hair masks. I actually add more honey, some coconut oil and coconut milk to this when i use it. I slather it on in the morning and rinse at night or just sleep with it in overnight and then rinse. Leaves my hair smelling great and feeling soft and moisturized. All natural and affordable.
