Misc Beauty Tools -Sigma - Classic Brush Roll
KBaylie 4/12/2010 7:00:00 PM
I LOVE this brush roll. This brush roll fits so many brushes, is easy to clean, is of great quality, easy to close and easy to travel with! I've used brush rolls from Sonia Kashuk and Sephora and they can't even compare to this one. I just ordered a second brush roll for my growing brush collection today. Can't wait until I receive it!

Blush -NARS - Deep Throat
KBaylie 4/6/2010 2:22:00 AM
This blush is nothing special, in my opinion. I have plenty of blushes that look so similar if not exactly the same as this one. Also, as odd as this sounds, this blush makes me look like I have a cold. I'm not sure what it is that people love about this blush so much, but it just didn't have that "wow" factor to me. I'm taking this back to Sephora asap.

Lip Gloss -MAC - N Collection lipglass-2N
KBaylie 3/31/2010 6:46:00 AM
This is a great color, though it doesn't look like much in the tube. I use it over 4n lipstick. And if I want to amp it up a bit, I use a bright colored gloss on top and it just makes everything pop. Overall, I love this gloss and always carry it around in my purse.

I love this. This is one of the best nude lipsticks I've ever bought. It gives such a natural look. Great for everyday. So glad I bought a back up!

Deodorants -Unlisted Brand - Crystal Body Deodorant Stick
KBaylie 3/16/2010 2:37:00 AM
Yes, this product did mask odor. No odor what so ever. Not even the next day. However, it made my underarms itch like crazy and left it extremely irritated. Since using this last year in June, I still have dark underarms, prior to not having dark underarms at all, caused by irritation when I used this product. I'm extremely disappointed because I thought this product was "the one." I gave it a 2/5 because it did mask odor. And the search goes on....

Hair Removal -Gigi - All Purpose Honee non-microwave wax
KBaylie 3/16/2010 1:25:00 AM
Best stuff ever. Before using this, I used to the pink colored creme wax and had issues with that. It just didn't pull out all the hairs. However, with this wax everything is pulled. I bought the warmer, collars and muslin strips. I buy popsicle sticks from an art supply store because its so much cheaper that way. I warm the wax and make sure its completely heated (over 30 mins to do so), and wax away. I have minimal pain, and just use baby oil to wipe any areas that still have wax on them. Then I hop in the shower and when I get out, there is no wax left on my skin. This stuff can be messy if you don't know what your doing. I recommend going to a salon and get professionally waxed first to see what type of procedure or routine they use, and if you feel comfortable with that, then go home and follow that routine yourself. That's what I did and for me, waxing is a breeze! Goodbye razor!

Lip Treatments -Carmex - LipBalm
KBaylie 3/3/2010 4:09:00 AM
I was using Chapstick before I started using this. I always loved Carmex and can't remember why I even stopped using this. My lips were always dry with Chapstick. It wasn't until I stopped using Chapstick that I figured out it was the culprit in my extremely chapped lips. Then I saw Carmex at the store in the stick form and remembered how much this had worked for me back when I was a teenager (I used the potted form back then). I decided to buy it since it was so cheap and I love it. It moisturizes and my lipsticks and glosses go on like a dream with this. I shall not stray again.

Shampoo -Burt's Bees - More Moisture Raspberry and Brazil Nut Shampoo
KBaylie 1/16/2010 4:52:00 AM
Let me start out by writing that most Burt's Bees products either did not work for me, or just didn't live up to my expectations. After I had my baby, my scalp became very dry and itchy. I could not find anything to remedy that for 2 years. I came across this product and was intrigued by its all natural ingredients. It doesn't lather up as much as other shampoos, but it does lather. After I used it the first time in the shower, I thought, yikes.. my hair feels dry. I followed by using conditioner and let my hair air dry as usual. My hair felt silky and smooth, and best of all, no more dry, itchy scalp! Wonderful. It's expensive, but worth it. Edit on 03/03/10: Reduces this to a 3/5. Although I still like this shampoo, it dries out my hair quite a bit. But it still is great for my dry scalp. Go figure. I'd like to find something else that is SLS free and doesn't dry out my hair.

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Color Focus Self-Select in Dill
KBaylie 12/16/2009 5:13:00 AM
This is one of my most worn and favorite eyeshadows of all time. My other favorite eyeshadow is Sable from MAC. Dill is great for brown eyes gals like myself. It can be worn alone on the lid and looks so gorgeous. I'm not sure if they are discontinuing it or not, because its not available on the Lancome website, but I have seen it in stores such as Macys and on the Nordstrom website. I've hit pan on mine, so it's time to purchase another!

Treatments (Eye) -Kiehls - Imperiale Repairateur Moisturizing Eye Balm
KBaylie 11/21/2009 3:00:00 AM
This product did not work for me. I think it actually accentuated my dark circles and made them worse. I look much older now. I had high hopes for this product because I loved the consistency of this, but it just didn't work for me. I wasn't looking for a miracle product to erase lines or anything of that sort, but was only looking for something to hydrate my delicate under eye area. However, this not only made my dark circles more noticeable, it traveled into my eye area and made it extremely dry. I also put a little bit on the area where laugh lines usually occur, and now I have slight laugh lines prior to not having any at all! This product also transferred onto my pillow which in turn transferred to other parts of my face and made me break out. To call this product horrible would be an understatement.

Makeup Brushes -Stila - #8 Powder Brush
KBaylie 10/30/2009 3:42:00 PM
This the best brush ever for BLUSH! When I bought this brush, I didn't know what to expect, because nothing can add up to my Smashbox #1 brush for powder application. I got this brush and tried it, and I thought it was okay for powder. My blush brush was dirty, so I used this for blush instead and WOW. I don't use anything for blush except this brush. It's fantastic! Edit on 05/14/10: I don't have much use for this brush and find that there are other brushes better for blush. Plus, when I wash it, it bleeds black dye. This brush has been added to my stash of unused brushes.

Eyeliner -Milani - Eye Tech Liquid Eyeliner
KBaylie 9/27/2009 8:22:00 AM
I expected great things from this liner as I love the packaging, however, it took me so long to get a nice black line. I'm quite experienced when it comes to lining my eyes, it always takes me 2 minutes or less unless I'm using fluidlines from MAC (which btw, also is pretty quick for me). However, putting this eyeliner on my eyes was like dipping a felt tip into water color and attempting to line your eyes. The color just moves around instead of staying in place. Also, don't even think about getting any liner onto your lashes by accident, because when you try to put your mascara on it will clump like crazy! I'm going to try L'oreal next.

Eyeliner -Prestige - Liquid Eyeliner
KBaylie 9/26/2009 11:16:00 AM

I've been using this liner since high school and I seem to have a love/hate relationship with this stuff. I love how pigmented this liner is, but I hate how it flakes. If you make a mistake, its easy to fix, but I find that throughout the day I have little specs of black dots all over my face because this stuff flakes so easily! And it isn't the type of flakes that you can just swipe away with a some powder and brush, if you try to move the specs you will have black smudges all over your face! Too me, it's just to much of a mess that I have to clean up. Don't get me wrong, this is a very good liner and is easy to apply, but the mess it comes with is just not worth it!

Blush -MAC - Beauty Powder in Eversun
KBaylie 9/26/2009 10:48:00 AM
One of my favorite blushes of all time. The color is unique and I haven't seen anything like this. Definitely my favorite MAC blush of all time! Edit on 10/15/09: I am still loving this blush. To bad its LE!

Concealers -TheBalm - Time Balm
KBaylie 9/25/2009 6:31:00 PM
Accentuates dryness, leaves a horrid shadow and doesn't conceal very well. I gave it a rating of 2, because I feel that while it might not work for me, it might work well for others. Edit on 10/15/09: I actually do like this. I've found that the way this concealer looks depends on which type of moisturizer you put on. With that being said, I actually would repurchase this, and am bumping it up to a 4/5. Edit on 10/29/09: I love this stuff. 5/5!! Edit on 03/03/10: Doesn't completely cover dark circles, but great for rainy days when I don't feel like getting completely done up. Reducing rating to 3/5.
