LOVE this lip gloss. Smells good, not too sticky, cool minty feeling. I don't notice any lip-plumping but I can't wait tobuy more colors of Buxum gloss. My new favorite.

Toners -Clinique - Clarifying Lotion #2

I too, am surprised by the low ratings. When I was in my teens & 20's and lived in Florida, I used this every day. The hot humid weather and my oily skin did really well with this. Now that I am in my mid-30's and live further north my skin has changed and I do not use it nearly as often. However, there are times after I have washed my face I feel the need for a little something more and this product never fails. It always manages to pick up traces of dirt or makeup that I miss with my cleanser (Purity made simple). So while this is not part of my everyday regiimine anymore, it still has a place in my arsenal of products.

Bath Treatments -Burt's Bees - Apricot baby oil

While I love the smell of this oil, when all is said and done it's just another baby oil. The packaging could not be worse if they tried - it's in a glass bottle with no flow control on the top; essentially a mess waiting to happen. Not to mention the price, I paid $7.99 at Target, for baby oil I consider that pricey. Smells good - check, moisturinzing - check, repurchase - no way.

This is the self-tanner I have been looking for! The faux-tan moisterizer leaves the most beautiful and natural looking tan behind - not orange like many drug store products. It is a rich cream, which means (for me) it's great on my legs, okay on my arms, but I would not consider using it on my chest, neck or face. I have fair skin and after 2-3 applications I was able to see a beautiful color developing. I will definitely repurchase this product.

Mascara -Bare Escentuals - Flawless Definition mascara

I was so skeptical of this mascara when I saw it as part of a QVC kit, but WOW am I impressed. This mascara lasts throughout the day without smudging or flaking. The brush separates my lashes and is able to get the small lashes in the corners. I cannot wait for this product to be released mass market.

Blush -Bare Escentuals - Compassion Blush

I just received this blush as part of the "Lisa's Day Off" kit at QVC and I am thrilled with this blush. It is almost exactly the color of Glee but has a subtle luminosity to it. When )if) this runs out, I will definitely be repurchasing it.

Hair -L'Oreal - Elnett Hairspray

This is horrible hairspray. The smell reminds me of my grandmother's hairspray back in the 70's. The sprayer continually clogs/gunks up. This product is the price of salon products but does not deliver.

I would have never tried this product if it weren't for the MUA reviews (thank you!). I had been looking for a primer and tried many, but they all left me feeling greasy. This product does exactly what I neded it to without adding extra weight or shine. I wear it under my bare minerals and I now love the way it looks on me.

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

Why spend more money when you don't have to. This mascara thickens my lashes and wears well throughout the day without flaking. Good brush, no clumps. Two coats and I am good to go.

Lotions/ Creams -Aveda - Hand Relief

As a nurse I am frequently washing my hands and/or sing a sanitizing product, so needless to say my hands (and especially my cuticles) are a wreck. I tried this product years ago but recently found it again and love the long lasting moisture it provides. Now I have a tube in my purse, my hospital bag, by the kitchen sink . . . . The more I can remember to use it , the better my hands are becoming.

Palettes -Bobbi Brown - Mauve Face Palette Fall 2008

I had been wanting this palette for a while and recently came across it in the "Company Store" for $38 -- so I couldn't pass it up. I am SO glad that I bought it. The colors are beautiful, this has to be one of her best palettes yet. Also, the black mauve shimmer gel eyeliner is a great compliment to the eye shadows.

I knew of this product for a long time and don't know why I waited to try it because it is THE BEST!! It goes on flawlessly, doesn't smear or smudge, and lasts all day.

Fragrances -Chanel - No 5 Eau Premiere

I just happened upon this fragrance in my local department store -- and holy cow I am in love with it!! The original #5 was a bit much for me, and what I love most about this fragrance is the powdery undertones. I do wish they sold it in a smaller bottle.

Gels/Soaps -Bath and Body Works - Antibacterial Hand Soap

I love their hand soaps, they feel great and smell wonderful. My only complaint is that they tend to clog up my dispensers (I think it is the beads - but I love them). Sp for the most part, I either keep the soap in the dispenser it comes in or thin it out a little if I am putting it into one I own.

I had pretty much given up on BBW, most of their products are too fruity for me and they had discontinued my favorite scent (night blooming jasmine). But recently I went in there on a whim and fell in love with this scent. It is floral and warm. EDITED: after a while this scent began to seem too sweet. I wish I hadn't bought as much of it as I did.
